L'in

The present invention relates to an object detection device, comprising two terminals intended to be connected to an alternating current supply source,
the terminals being connected through at least one load and a thyristor, also comprising a proximity detector, the output voltage of which controls an oscillator, the output of which is connected to the gate of the thyristor.
Detectors of this type are currently built on two different principles: - the first include a saturated transformer which
supplies power to the object detector oscillator
in direct current, via a rectifier bridge
sor, in the conduction state of the detector. The inconvenience
deny this principle lies in the weight and bulk
ment of the transformer; - the second supply the oscillator of the
object detector in the conduction state by pulse
sions. These pulses are obtained by leaving the thyr
output istor blocked when switching to
zero intensity. The voltage then rises across the
thyristor, which makes it possible to recharge the
continuous power filtering.
As soon as the tension
reaches a suitable value, the thyristor gate is at
again ordered to obtain conduction. Linen
suitable for this principle lies on the one hand in the irrational
gularity of the sinusoid of the alternating current supplying
load and causing the relay to growl or con
tactor who possibly constitutes this load, and
on the other hand in the high voltage drop on the detector
tor in the conduction state.
The object of the present invention is to remedy the drawbacks indicated above and the device which is the subject thereof is characterized in that the supply terminals of the oscillator and of the detector are connected to the terminals of a drop device. of constant voltage connected in series with the thyristor, so that, in the conduction state of the thyristor, the oscillator and the detector are placed under a predetermined constant voltage independently of said load.
The accompanying drawing represents an embodiment of the invention. The diagram is given by way of example among the possible solutions.
In the drawing - I represents a load, that is to say a device which
reacts to a current greater than a given threshold, for example
example a contactor.
- 2 a rectifier bridge of the Graetz type; - 3 the control thyristor; - 4 a power transistor; - 5 a Zener diode; - 6 and 7 resistances; 8 8 an electrolytic capacitor for filtering
the supply voltage; - 9 an astable multivibrator; - 10 a direct current proximity detector. The ten
output of the latter at two levels: one of
object detection, the other in non-object detection: - 11 a capacitor.
The output voltage of the detector 10 acts on the multivibrator 9 in such a way that the latter oscillates for one of the states of the object detector (for example detection) and is at rest for the other state (for example non- detection). When the multivibrator 9 oscillates, it sends, through the capacitor 11, pulses to the gate of the thyristor 3, polarized by the resistor 7, and the thyristor conducts.
The continuous supply of the object detector, filtered by capacitor 8, is obtained: in the case of non-conduction of the thyristor by bridge 2
and resistance 6 in the case of conduction of the thyristor by the thyr
same istor, whose cathode is kept under tension
constant with respect to potential 0, via transistor 4,
driven by the Zener diode 5.
