Fig. 8 zeigt ein einfaches und wirkungsvolles Dämpfungselement.
The invention relates to a further development of the AC contactor according to the claim of the main patent, in which the movable contact arrangement is positively connected to a movable magnetic core part, and in which a short-circuit ring is provided for at least one pole of its magnetic core, one of which is a ring part in a the slot located on the pole face, the short-circuit ring being movably arranged through the movable magnetic core part and the cross-sections of the ring part and the groove being dimensioned in such a way that in every switching position of the movable magnetic core part the ring part dips into the slot without contact,
and wherein the non-positive connection of the movable contact arrangement with the movable magnetic core part is formed by the short-circuit ring arrangement and for this purpose a short-circuit ring sliding in guides on the contactor housing is arranged on each outer leg of a movable E-shaped magnetic core part and the two short-circuit rings at their ends facing the movable contact arrangement through a traverse made of electrically insulating material are connected. For contactors in general, in addition to a satisfactory low operating efficiency, adaptability and economic efficiency of their manufacture are important.
An advantage in circuit technology is a type of contactor that has a long service life at comparatively low prices and good switching properties, is easy to use and with which a wide variety of switching and control operations can be carried out. A well-known multi-pole contactor with a certain adaptability in the number and type of contact elements consists, for. B. of three main parts, a contactor housing in which a number of separate con tact elements can be used with opening or closing contacts, a housing cover in which the drive part for the contact elements is housed, and a terminal block for the group of contact elements Connections. These three main parts can be held together by a known two-stage latch lock, in which e.g.
B. two lock plungers are arranged under spring pressure standing tiltable on the housing cover and each have two opposing hooks, one of which in the one tilted position the contactor housing and the other in the other tilted position the terminal block th tight, so that simply by tilting the lock plunger attached terminal strip is released and the Kontaktele elements can be replaced.
The purpose of the invention is to provide an improved version of the AC contactor described in the main patent, which is even more versatile than z. B. the well-known multi-pole contactor, and which is particularly easy to handle and assemble the items.
The alternating current contactor according to the invention is characterized in that a row in the contactor housing permanently angeord Neter contact elements with movable contact bridges actuated by the crossbeam is arranged at least one separate contact element with a plunger protruding from the contact element housing for actuating its movable contact bridge, which contact element is in a first or in a second position rotated by 180, the plunger of the added Kontaktelemen tes abuts against an abutment surface of the traverse, and that the plunger of the separate contact element has two in its longitudinal extension one behind the other end faces on the plunger with respect to the Butt surface of the traverse are arranged so that
that in the one position of the added con tact element for its early actuation the front face and in the other position for the late actuation the rear face rests on the abutment surface of the crossbeam. In the case of the fixed contact elements, the fixed contact pins in a cover plate of the contactor housing and the con tact bridge in the traverse made of electrically insulating mate rial can be held resiliently, and both ends of the series of fixed contact elements can each have a slot in the contactor housing to accommodate a separate contact element, with the ends of the traverse protrude into the slide-in spaces and have the abutment surfaces for the plungers of the separate contact elements used.
Advantageously, the exterior of the separate contact elements is identical to one another, the contact element housing having an external shape that is axially symmetrical with respect to the ram axis and the front end face of the ram on one side of the center plane containing the ram axis and laid by the contact arrangement and the rear face on the other side of this central plane. The separate contact elements can be NC and NO contacts. For easier handling and orientation about the type of contact element used, the separate contact elements on the top of the housing can be marked with the symbols for opener and late opener or
Closer and early closing and contact designation numbers, the designation numbers for the contacts in the NC and NO symbol are rotated by 180 compared to the designation numbers for the contacts in the late open and early closing symbol. The object of the invention is shown in the drawing in an exemplary embodiment.

In the contactor shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, a contactor housing 1 contains three fixed contact elements 38 arranged next to each other in a row with closing contacts, the contact bridges of which, as will be described in more detail below, are actuated by a cross member 18. The fixed contacts of these contact elements 38 and a pair of further fixed contacts to which the magnetic coil of the contactor is connected are resiliently mounted in recesses 40 of the housing cover plate 41 (FIG. 3) and have extensions 27a and / or protruding beyond the housing cover plate 41 .
39a, which are designed as plug contacts. Springs 35 supported on the housing walls hold the fixed contacts in the cover plate 41. At each end of the double row of fixed contacts there is an insertion space 42 in the housing for inserting a separate contact element 43a or 43b. The separate contact elements 43a, 43b are outwardly identical and designed such that a contact element can be inserted into an insertion space 42 in a first position and in a second position rotated by 180.
The fixed contacts of the separate contact elements 43a, 43b also have extensions 45a which serve as plug-in contacts and which are aligned with the contacts located in the housing 1 when the separate contact elements are inserted. A plug-on terminal strip 53 is used to connect lines to the fixed contacts of the fixed and separate contact elements 38 or 43a, 43b and to the coil connection contacts. With the terminal strip 53 removed, the separate contact elements 43a, 43b can be inserted into the housing 1 or converted into it will.
Fig. 4 shows schematically in section a separate Kontaktele element 43a with opening contacts and Fig. 5 shows a separate contact element 43b with closing contacts. In the case of both types of contact elements, a plunger 46 with the contact bridge 50 resiliently mounted in it is arranged in a shell-shaped housing 44 such that it can be displaced in guides 16a. The return spring 49 acts on the plunger 46. The fixed contacts 45 held in the housing 44 by springs 35 are shaped differently for opening contacts and closing contacts, but their extensions 45a protruding from the housing 44 are the same and, as mentioned, ausgebil det as stretch contacts. Such or similar contact elements are known.
The plunger 46 of the separate contact elements 43a, 43b shown has a flat end face 47 with a cam 48 forming an elevation. The separate contact element used in the contactor housing 1: 13a, 43b is zen 51 provided on its side walls in the required height position by War zen 51, the snap in on a partition 1b of the contactor housing 1 (FIG. 7) correspondingly arranged recesses 52, held. In the side walls of the contactor housing 1 resilient tongues la (Fig. 2, Fig. 3) are formed, through which the contact elements 43a, 43b are pressed against the partition walls 1b of the contactor Qehäuses 1, so that in addition to the exact height of the contact elements in the contactor housing whose effortless insertion and transfer is guaranteed.
As indicated by dashed lines in FIG. 1, the plungers 46 abut the separate contact elements used 13a. -13b to the cross member 18, through which the contact elements are actuated. The traverse 18 is provided at both ends with an abutment surface 54 for the plunger 46 of the contact element 43a and 43b belonging to it, and because of the cam 48, the plunger 46 of the contact elements has two end faces 47 and 48a located at different levels, which are formed on the plunger in relation to the abutment surface 54 of the traverse 18 so that in the one insert position of the separate contact element the front face, d. H.
the end face .18a of the cam 48, and in the inserted position of the contact element rotated by 180- the rear end face 47 lies on the abutment surface 54 of the traverse. When the cam 48 rests on the abutment surface 54 of the traverse 18, the rest position of the plunger 46 is shifted by the cam height and the contacts of the contact element are opened or closed accordingly earlier than when the contact element is in the inserted position in which the rear end face 47 lies on the abutment surface 54 of the traverse 18.
In the particularly simple embodiment shown in FIGS. 2 and 7, the cross member 18 extends as far as the tappet centers of the separate contact elements -13a, -13b used and the cams 48 are each arranged in one half of the end face 47 of the tappets 46, so that in the one position of use of the contact element the cam 48 comes to rest next to the cross member 18 and in the other position of use on the cross member. For fast and reliable orientation, the separate contact elements 43a, 43b, z.
B. on the housing surface lying between the fixed contacts 45 for a contact element with opening contacts with the symbols for an opener and a late opener and for a contact element with closing contacts with the symbols for a closer and early closing, as shown in FIG . With the symbols, the contacts are also designated with numbers, e.g. B. 1 and 2 for NC contacts and 3 and 4 for make contacts, with each contact element, the digits of one symbol are rotated by 180 compared to the digits of the other symbol, so that the position of use can be read. The symbol closer to the housing wall 16 shows the function in the selected operating position (FIG. 6).
The number on the contact element, together with the number on the housing next to it, gives the terminal number of the contact elements used. For the separate contact elements shown in Fig. 1, of which the left contact element 43a is an opener and plugged for late actuation and the right contact element 43b is a closer plugged to early actuation, the relationship shown in FIG. 6 results .
The drive part of the contactor through which the cross member 18 is actuated is mounted in the housing cover 14. The three main parts of the contactor, housing cover 14, contactor housing 1 and terminal block 53 are held together by a known two-stage latch lock, the locking plunger 55 of which is arranged on the side walls of the contactor.
The movable magnetic core part 9 is supported with the short-circuit rings 10, as shown in FIG. 7, in guides 15 in the housing cover 14 so as to be displaceable. The E-magnet core 2, on the middle leg 3 of which the magnet coil 4 is pushed, rests at its pole ends 6 on the side walls of the housing cover 14 and is housing 1 when the contactor is placed on the cover 14 by damping elements 56 on the side walls of the contactor housing 1 are arranged, sedeckel 14 pressed against the hous. The two short-circuit rings 10 are connected to one another by a cross member 18 made of electrically insulating material and guided in the contactor housing 1. The Tr verse 18 has four molded lugs 57 with cup-shaped head ends.
In three of these approaches 57, the contact bridges 20 are stored with the pressure springs 24 for the cover plate in the housing 41 (Fig. 3) arranged fixed contacts of the fixed contact elements in the housing. In the cup-shaped head ends of the two outer lugs 57 Rückdruckfe countries 19 are used, which are supported on the housing cover plate 41 and press the cross member 18 against the short-circuit rings 10. The movable system, consisting of traverse 18, short-circuit rings l0 and magnet armature 9, is held together in a force-locking manner by the return compression springs 19 and pressed against the surfaces 14a in the cover. The partition plate 58 is locked into the contactor housing and serves as a closure of the contact space.
For perfect operation of the contactor, i. H. an exact and rebound-free actuation of the moving contacts, and the service life of the contactor, the damping elements are important. In any case, the damping element should be adapted to the respective force-travel ratio of the contactor. Fig. 8 shows a simple and effective damping element. This damping element 56 is a rod-shaped body made of flexible plastic with a star-shaped cross-section having a central part 59, the beams of which are subjected to bending, shear and pressure, and at both ends of which square retaining arms 60 are attached. For assembly, the holding arms 60 are clamped at their ends in the clamping jaws located on the housing projection 61 62.
The middle part of the body forming the actual damping element represents a four-pointed star on which the pole end 6 of the magnet core 3 rests and which can easily be dimensioned according to the force-travel ratio of the respective contactor.
The damping element described above contributes significantly to the serviceability of the AC contactor according to the main patent. With one contactor and only four separate contact elements, two of which are equipped with opening and two with closing contacts, various contact element sets can be combined so that the contactor can be used in a variety of ways. The assembly is very simple, with the exception of the screws in the terminal strip, all parts are just plugged together. With the terminal strip removed, the separate contact elements can be easily inserted and moved, with incorrect connections being practically impossible due to the clear and clear contact designation.
