Steckverteiler
Plug-in distributor
The present invention relates to a plug-in distributor for thermoplastic insulated electrical conductors, with terminals for solderless and screwless connection without prior Abiso regulation.
In modern switching technology, the connections between individual assemblies or racks are increasingly established using standardized connecting cables with multiple plugs. The individual wires of the internal wiring of a module or a frame are connected to the pins of the multiple plugs by soldering or wrapping.
Furthermore, it often happens in switching technology that, for example, as a result of renumbering or regrouping subscribers or lines, individual or entire bundles of wires have to be routed.
In the case of the multiple plugs mentioned at the outset, it has a disadvantageous effect that they are extremely poorly suited for routing the wires due to the plug pins which are arranged closely next to one another in order to save space.
The present invention therefore aims to create a plug-in distributor that is designed as a multiple plug on one side and has easily accessible terminals suitable for jumpering for connecting thermoplastic-insulated electrical conductors
According to the invention, this is achieved in that there are plug pins and rows of terminals for solderless and screwless connection in an electrically insulating housing that is open on one side, the soldering ends of which protrude into the cavity of the housing and, on its outside, means for guiding and holding the conductors available,
that furthermore the housing is designed to accommodate at least one printed circuit board that can be equipped with electrical components and that the soldering ends of the terminals and the plug pins protruding into the interior of the housing are inserted into soldering eyes on the printed circuit board and connected in an electrically conductive manner.
Another advantage of the invention is that the circuit board can be equipped with electrical components, for example with balancing or damping resistors for line matching.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is described below with reference to the drawings. 1 shows a plug-in distributor from the jumper wiring side and FIG. 2 shows a section according to II-II in FIG. 1.
A substantially rectangular housing 1 made of plastic, open on one side, contains on the outside facing away from the opening two parallel, groove-shaped depressions running in the longitudinal direction of the housing 1 as wire troughs 8 for receiving and guiding insulated electrical conductors 6. For fastening one inside the Housing 1 arranged printed circuit board 4, two cylindrical pins 14 provided with a concentric internal thread are present on the base of each wire trough 8. Between the one offset, longitudinal edge of the housing 1 and the first wire trough 8 as well as between the first and second wire trough 8 there is a row of rectangular through holes 16 that run parallel to the same and are evenly spaced.
These are offset from the interior of the housing 1, widened in the shape of a wedge and each receive a separate terminal 2 that can be inserted from the interior for the solderless and screwless connection of insulated conductors 6. Between each row of clamps 2 and the associated wire trough 8 there is a comb 7 which protrudes from the outside of the housing 1 and has a number of recesses corresponding to the clamps 2, which are designed so that two insulated conductors 6 are placed one above the other in each of them can be. Between the circuit board 4 and the other longitudinal edge of the housing 1 there is inserted a connector strip 15 which runs parallel to the wire troughs 8 and has a number of connector pins 3 corresponding to the terminals 2.
These plug pins 3, which are accessible from the outside through a lateral opening in the housing 1, are provided for connecting a cable with a multiple plug. The plug pins can just as well be inserted individually from above into the circuit board 4 and soldered.
The soldering ends 10 of the connector pins 3 running parallel to the circuit board 4 are angled and, like the soldering ends 10 of the terminals 2, are inserted into soldering eyes 5 on the circuit board 4, where they are soldered according to known methods, for example by means of a surge bath. The circuit board 4 can be equipped with electrical components 9, for example with balancing or damping resistors, if necessary. Following the soldering of the terminals 2 and the connector pins 3, these are to be soldered into the soldering eyes provided for this purpose on the circuit board 4 using a soldering iron. For the sake of better interchangeability, these components 9 are advantageously attached to the conductor track side of the circuit board 4.
A cover 11 made of plastic with six cylindrical pegs 12 which are perpendicular to its inner surface and are provided with a concentric through hole, covers the circuit board 4 and closes the housing 1.
Six screws 13 inserted into these through holes are turned through holes in the circuit board 4 into the internal threads of the pins 14 and the connector strip 15 and thereby fix the cover 11, the circuit board 4 and the connector strip 15 on the housing 1.
