En effet, on a constaté qu'il n'était pas nécessaire d'enrober les grains de support solide par une épaisse couche de résine. Ceci a donc amené les inventeurs à utiliser des grains de clinker de diamètre égal ou supé rieur à 2 mm, à les enrober par un durcisseur dont la quantité introduite correspond à la quantité de résine de base utilisée, puis à broyer les grains de clinker, dans un broyeur à boulets par exemple, pour obtenir des grains de diamètre inférieur à 80 [, ;
<I>Exemple 2</I> Fabrication d'un béton hydraulique.

Grout manufacturing process; hydraulic mortars and concretes According to the main patent, the invention relates to a process for manufacturing hydraulic grouts, mortars and concretes.
cement base according to which, with a view to reinforcing the crystalline texture of the cement used for their manufacture, a viscous binder, hardenable and possessing in the solid state an inherent resistance, previously fixed on a solid support pulverulent, the grains of which have dimensions of less than 80 g. This binder is preferably chemically neutral before hardening with regard to water and the various components of the product, and compatible with the hydration of the cement.
The hydraulic products obtained according to this process have improved mechanical characteristics compared to the products obtained according to the prior processes. This improvement concerns both tensile, compressive and flexural strengths and physical qualities such as compactness, impermeability and frost resistance.
In an example cited in the main patent, in this case that of the manufacture of a traditional grout for prestressed concrete cables and composed only of cement and water (100 kg of CPA 210/325 cement for 42 liters of 'water), 25 kg of cement were taken which were used as solid support for 3 kg of resin which is preferably an epoxy resin whose hardener consists of an aliphatic amine, the final grout thus being constituted by the mixture of cement and water, on the one hand, and by the resin fixed on its solid support, on the other hand.
In another exemplary embodiment, this involves manufacturing a hydraulic concrete composed of pebbles, gravel, sand, cement and water at a dosage of 160 liters per m3. In this case, at the end of the mixing of traditional concrete, the water content of which had been reduced by 40 liters per m3, was incorporated 30 kg of resin of the previous type fixed on 90 kg of solid support regardless of calcareous nature or siliceous, but made up of grains of diameter less than 80 Nt.
The reminder of these two production examples shows that the products obtained are used with dosages of water lower than the dosages necessary according to the prior processes; the experiments carried out on these products have led to affirm not only that the shrinkages are in all cases lower than those of traditional materials, as shown by the increase in cracking times, but also that the cohesion of the materials produced is also better than that of traditional products, which allows them to be applied to many uses without risk of segregation.
Although the quantities of resin introduced into the components of the grouts, mortars and concretes are much lower than those which were necessary in previous processes, it is nonetheless true that they remain significant.
The object of the present invention is therefore the manufacture of grouts, mortars and concretes in which the addition of resin is notably reduced and, for this purpose, the manufacturing process is characterized in that it consists in coating beforehand with the viscous binder, the solid support comprising grains with a diameter greater than 80 #t then in grinding said pre-coated solid support, to bring the grains to a diameter less than 80 R.
It is often advantageous to use a solid support which is pre-coated with a hardener of the amidoamine or aliphatic polyamine type and which is clinker comprising grains with a diameter greater than 2 mm.
The products obtained are capable of constituting surface coatings for concrete slabs.
The fact of coating grains with a diameter greater than 80 @t and then grinding them to bring them to a diameter of less than 80 R, makes it possible to significantly reduce the amounts of viscous binder.
In fact, it has been found that it was not necessary to coat the grains of solid support with a thick layer of resin. This therefore led the inventors to use clinker grains with a diameter equal to or greater than 2 mm, to coat them with a hardener whose quantity introduced corresponds to the quantity of base resin used, then to grind the clinker grains, in a ball mill, for example, to obtain grains with a diameter of less than 80 [,;
therefore, an increase in the specific surface of said solid support is achieved <B>; </B> the epoxy resin is then incorporated in an amount such that the grains with a diameter of less than 80 #t present a layer of quasi-monomolecular resin . The experiments carried out according to this process have shown that the manufactured grouts, mortars and concretes exhibit the same improvement in mechanical, physical and rheological characteristics.
It goes without saying that the constituent intended to coat the solid product can be mixed directly or not with the other constituents of the viscous binder. Thus, when the coated grains are stored, the base resin is added to these coated grains only when they are used.
By way of examples, we will cite two embodiments which relate respectively to an injection grout and a hydraulic concrete. <I> Example 1 </I> Injection grout for prestressed concrete cables composed only of cement and water.
A traditional grout is made up of <B> 100 </B> kg of C.P.A. 210/325 cement for 42 liters of water.
According to the process of the invention, the quantity of cement is reduced by approximately 25 kg, which is replaced by clinker consisting of grains of diameter equal to 2 mm, and mixed or not with gypsum. The clincher grains are coated with a weight of hardener corresponding to a total weight of resin equal to 1.5 kg, which corresponds to 6% of the weight of the solid support, the resin being, for example, a resin. epoxy.
This pre-coating having been carried out, the clinker grains are introduced into a ball mill to obtain, at the outlet of the mill, coated grains with a diameter of less than 80 [,. These pre-envored grains are then mixed with the resin before being introduced into the mixture consisting of cement and water. <I> Example 2 </I> Manufacture of hydraulic concrete.
In the same way as above, the grains are coated with a solid support consisting, for example, of aggregates 0.2 mm in diameter or of clinker, with a hardener, these coated grains are then ground and mixed in a resin whose quantity is such that the total weight of the viscous binder (resin and hardener) is equal to 0.8% relative to the total weight of the aggregates, then the concrete is made as usually done.
From these two examples, it emerges that each time the total weight of resin used is equal to half that used according to the process of the main patent.
In addition, the fact of pre-coating the grains with the solid support, before being mixed with the base of the resin, offers the possibility of being able to keep these pre-coated grains and of only mixing them with the base of the resin. 'at later dates. It goes without saying that in order to be able to use these pre-coated solid supports at different time intervals, it is necessary to keep them in a sealed enclosure, away from air and humidity.
It is understood that if the viscous binder is a single component, it is no longer necessary to proceed to the mixing of the pre-coated grains with the base resin since it is the latter which is used for the pre-coating.
The products obtained according to the above process are capable of being used in numerous applications; among these applications, mention may be made of that relating to a resistant surface coating for cement-based concrete slabs and consisting of a mortar in accordance with the invention, the concrete slabs being able to be used, for example, to constitute pavements. rigid or building facades.
In the first case, the coating or plaster, which is generally a traditional mortar, must ensure good conservation of the concrete and produce a surface resistant to wear or corrosion. To absorb the expansions of the concrete and the coating mortar due to the atmospheric conditions and the stress to which said coatings are subjected by the continuous rolling of vehicles, deep grooves perpendicular to the road are provided on the surface of the road. roadway track.
However, since traditional mortars are not very compact, these grooves disappear after a few years and the coating may slip.
As regards the coating of new pavements, a mortar is used which is applied according to the process described above and whose composition is as follows

After the mortar has been deposited, the latter is vibrated and it is adjusted on the surface using a vibrating rule moving in conjunction with the sliding box machine, so as to regularly compact the layer of mortar and to deposit it on uniform thickness.
While the sliding box machine is moving, the grooving of the surface of the mortar is carried out using the usual devices such as claws or rigid rods.
A thin and very resistant coating is thus obtained on the road surface, because this mortar is very compact and has a great improvement in flexural strength. This makes it possible to significantly lower the cost price of cement-based concrete pavements.
If it is a question of renovating old pavements, we proceed in the same way, but having taken care, beforehand, to clean the surface of the pavement using a sandblast for example, then to deposit a layer of pure resin less than 1 mm thick, which serves as a bonding layer between the mortar and the roadway.
In the case of application to buildings, in addition to the aesthetic appearance, the coated concrete slabs must have high characteristics of impermeability and tightness. These conditions are even better fulfilled owing to the fact that the mortars thus obtained have a permeability two times lower than that of traditional mortars. In addition, said mortars have great resistance to frost and have the possibility of absorbing bleeding water during the placement, by vibration, of prefabricated concrete panels, qualities very appreciated and sought after for the coating of facades. buildings.
