Description

     Uhrenaufiiehkrone

     Watch winding crown
The subject of the present invention is a watch winding crown made of two nested parts which, like the nut and counter nut, have an internal thread corresponding to the external thread of the winding shaft, mutually corresponding annular surfaces and interlocking sleeves on the underside.

In the case of one-piece watch cases, the winding shaft is connected to the watch mechanism before it is installed and guided outwards from the inside through the sleeve in the case ring. As a result, the crown had to be fastened to the outer end of the winding shaft so that it cannot be turned.

Simply screwing it onto the external thread of the winding shaft would not result in a secure connection since the latter can no longer be held.

In order to ensure this, it has already been proposed to design the crown in two parts, the two parts having sleeve, mustard, shaped approaches, one of which, with simultaneous screwing, with the end of the winding shaft, enters that of the other part. To secure an undesired rotary movement between the two parts, a square was provided on the mounting shaft and the lower part of the attachment in question was designed in such a way that it could turn when it was pushed onto this square. However, this special design of both the one approach and the winding shaft are expensive, all the more since the parts concerned have to be machined with extreme precision.

Furthermore, watch crowns of the type mentioned at the outset have become known in which, however, one part completely surrounds the other, so that this end part cannot be accessed and grasped by itself during and after assembly.

However, in order to keep it from the watch case in a position that enables the relative movement necessary to disengage the pointer presentation, with these previously known watch crowns a stop in the form of pliers clamped on the winding shaft had to be placed in front of the front part when screwing on the winding shaft will. The consequence of this is that before screwing on the winding crown part, the front part has to be screwed onto the winding shaft with a stop on the pliers, whereupon the cap-shaped winding crown rear part 1 can be screwed on until the annular surfaces between the two parts sit on.

Apart from the fact that pliers of different strengths are required for pointer devices with a different stroke, the arrangement of such pliers represents an undesirable difficulty in placing the crown, quite apart from the disadvantage that both crown parts cannot be grasped from the outside.

The object of the present invention was to remedy the disadvantages mentioned and to create a crown which, in a simple and inexpensive manner, guarantees a secure connection to the winding shaft in watches with a one-piece housing.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown in axial section.

The watch crown consists of two parts 1 and 11.

The front crown part 1 has the easy-to-grip circumference 2, a front recess 3 for receiving a sealing ring 4 opposite the bearing sleeve 6 seated in the housing ring 5, into which the front crown part 1 extends with an internally and externally tapered shoulder sleeve 7 the front, narrower part 7 'has an internal thread corresponding to the external thread of the winding shaft 8. The rear, further part of the attachment sleeve 7 is denoted by 7 ″.

The rear crown part 11 of the watch crown consists of a pan head 12 with a screwdriver insertion slot 13 and has a recess 14 on its underside for receiving a sealing ring 15 and an attachment sleeve 16 with an internal thread also corresponding to the external thread of the winding shaft 9. The rear crown part 11 is housed sunk in an outer recess 9 in the front crown part 1. Both parts 1 and 11 have adjacent annular surfaces 10 around 17.

If the front crown part 1 is first screwed onto the winding shaft 9 up to the watch case ring 5 with play and then, while holding it against turning, the rear crown part 11 is also screwed onto the adjacent ring surfaces 10, 17 and screwed up to the front crown part 1, so they tense. like the nut and counter nut, are fixed in the opposite direction on the thread of the winding shaft 8, so that they sit securely on the winding shaft 8 in relation to the winding rotation movement and the pointer directional rotation movement.

The connection can also be released at any time if it becomes necessary to remove the ictus movement from the case in order to regulate or repair it.
