Skischuh mit Versteifungsmanschette
Es sind schon Skischuhe mit einer mit der Schuhsohle in Verbindung stehenden Versteifungsmanschette bekannt geworden, wobei die Versteifungsmanschette den Schaft des Skischuhs bzw. das Bein des Skifahrers so umfasst, dass letzteres gegen seitliche Bewegung abgestützt ist, während eine begrenzte Bewegung desselben in Skilängsrichtung möglich ist. Bisher bekannte solche Versteifungsmanschetten sind mit dem Skischuh fest verbunden bzw. bilden einen Teil des Skischuhschaftes.
