<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
Vorteilhafter
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
und einfacher scheint es jedoch;
EMI5.13
gilt, so kann man damit ML entsprechend folgender Gleichung erhalten:
EMI5.15
Bezugspotential. Eine positive
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>

Device for the formation of actual values for the regulation of a three-phase asynchronous machine With the possibility of controlling the converter-fed three-phase asynchronous machines that are increasingly being introduced recently, interest has grown, as has the variables of interest in asynchronous machines such as speed, slip, torque and flux To master control technology, for example to achieve a drive comparable to the classic DC machine in terms of control technology properties. For this purpose, the corresponding actual values are required for the variables mentioned.
The object of the present invention is to get by without the rotating, electromechanical or galvanomagnetic actual value transducers that have hitherto been customary here.
In a circuit arrangement for keeping the breakdown torque constant of an asynchronous motor fed with a voltage of variable frequency, it is known to detect the voltage and current of a motor phase and to use these recorded values to simulate the ohmic and inductive voltage drops in the primary circuit in order to produce a breakdown torque proportional size. The disadvantage of this arrangement is that this detection is only based on the values of one phase, which only leads to a correct picture of the actual conditions if there is complete phase symmetry.
A statement that is correct at every moment about the dynamic conditions during the transition from one stationary state to the other is fundamentally not possible with this known method.
In contrast, the present invention relates to a device for the formation of actual values for the regulation of a three-phase asynchronous machine, in particular a converter-fed, using converters that detect primary current and primary voltage of the asynchronous machine.
The invention is characterized in that, in order to form a variable proportional to the square of the amount of the rotary flux vector, the instantaneous values of at least two flux components occurring in spatially offset winding components are multiplied by themselves as well as with each other and the output variables of the multipliers are fed to a summing element.
As a central variable for the high-quality control of a three-phase synchronous machine, a variable dependent on the amount of the rotary flux vector is used, with all dynamic fluctuations of this variable being recorded and thus an actually correct image being obtained at every moment.
According to one embodiment of the invention, a low-cost arrangement for forming this variable proportional to the amount of the rotary flux vector consists of two multipliers, the first inputs of which each have a variable proportional to the one flow component and the second inputs the sum of this twice amplified variable and one proportional to the other field component Size are fed. According to another variant, the two inputs of a first multiplier can be supplied with a variable proportional to one of the flow components and the two inputs of a second multiplier can be supplied with the sum of this variable and twice the value of a variable proportional to the other flow components.
In the last-mentioned embodiment there is the possibility that squaring function generators constructed from biased threshold diodes can be used as multipliers, which allow the required multiplication of the input variables to be carried out quite precisely and are extremely simple.
The simulation of the quantities proportional to the phase flux components can advantageously take place in that a current transformer is arranged in at least two motor feed lines, the burden of which consists of the series connection of an ohmic and an inductive resistor, and voltages proportional to the phase current and its time differential quotient are taken from the burden and together with the assigned thine tension
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
are fed to an integrator.
Since this simulation is all about alternating currents, it can prove to be advantageous that, in order to suppress undesired and uncontrollable direct current influences, the integrator is fed back with a proportional amplifier which preferably has an integral component, which results in particularly good transmission properties of this arrangement,
if the quotient of twice the integration time of the integrator and the reset time of the negative feedback integrating amplifier is equal to or smaller than the proportional gain of the latter and this itself is selected to be as small as possible.
To simulate the moment, two multipliers can be provided, the first inputs of which are each charged with a quantity proportional to the instantaneous value of the secondary flow of one phase and the second inputs with a quantity proportional to the phase current of the other phase, the output quantities of the multipliers being subtracted in a summing element .
From this variable obtained in this way, a variable proportional to the slip frequency can be formed if the output of the summing element is fed as a dividend to a quotient generator, at whose other input a variable proportional to the amount of the square of the secondary rotary flux acts as a divisor.
If control of the asynchronous machine to a constant torque comes into question, be it for itself or within a torque control loop that is subordinate to a higher-level controller, then - based on the actual slip value - it appears to be beneficial to bring about a defined control sense, a linear, i.e. H. to realize a clear dependency between the slip and the moment, d. H.
linearize the actual torque value provided for a control. For this purpose, according to a further embodiment of the invention, the output variable of the aforementioned quotient generator is fed to a multiplier, at the other input of which a variable proportional to the absolute square of the main rotary flux acts.
Embodiments of the invention are illustrated in more detail below with reference to the figures.
Fig. 1 shows first schematically a speed regulator (Y in which the invention can be used with advantage. The controlled system 1 contains an asynchronous machine 4, which is mechanically coupled to a load not specified and which is connected to its stator terminals U, V, W of the output terminals R, S, T of a converter 5 is fed, which in turn is connected to a three-phase network N.
In a manner known per se, the output frequency co, of the intermediate circuit converter 5 can be varied within wide limits at a control input designated by 15, which is acted upon by a DC voltage of a corresponding magnitude, and at the same time a further control input has to ensure that the output voltage U, of the converter 5 is adjusted so far that the air gap flow in the asynchronous machine 4 remains constant.
A separate flow control loop is used for this purpose, in the input of which a variable taken from terminal 6 and proportional to the air gap flow (in asynchronous machine 4) is compared with a desired flow value 0 ″.
The resulting control deviation acts on a control amplifier 10 and, via an actuator 11, influences the control input of the intermediate circuit converter assigned to it by changing the output voltage of the converter until there is agreement between the desired flux setpoint (D 'and the actual flux actual value of the asynchronous machine 4 .
A speed controller 12 is also provided, which processes the difference between a predetermined speed setpoint (* and the actual speed value taken from a terminal 9) and outputs a setpoint M '' \ for a subordinate torque controller 13, which is also compared again with a actual value M taken from terminal 7.
Instead of subordinating a torque controller to the speed controller, it can sometimes be more useful to use the rotor slip co as a subordinate auxiliary controlled variable. In this case, the actual value input of the subordinate controller 13 is connected to terminal 8.
The output of the controller subordinate to the speed controller 12 then influences the frequency setting input of the intermediate circuit converter 5 via an actuator 14 until there is agreement between the desired speed setpoint co * and the actual speed value.
To supply the terminals 6 to 9 with the corresponding actual values (D, M, c) 2 and w), appropriate special actual value transmitters had to be provided, e.g. B. a tacho dynamometer for the actual speed value as well as galvanomagnetic transducers, for example light generators, for the detection of the magnetic flux and the torque, while according to the invention it is possible to make these actual values available for the implementation of high-quality control in a purely contactless manner,
without moving parts and exclusively using the primary electrical input variables of the asynchronous machine.
Before the implementation according to the invention is dealt with in detail, it seems expedient to briefly discuss the theoretical fundamentals on which it is based. The equivalent circuit diagram according to FIG. 2 shows the relationships between the individual rotation vectors of stator-side and rotor-side voltages, currents and flows. The equivalent circuit diagram applies to a state-oriented, i.e. H. Coordinate system at rest relative to the stand.
The primary variables occurring on the stand side are provided with the index 1, while the index 2 applies to the secondary variables related to the rotor. In detail, U, the stator voltage vector, R ,, 2 the primary or
secondary ohmic resistance, LiG, Lza the primary or secondary leakage inductance, Lx the main inductance, f ,, 2 the stator or rotor flux vector and 0 the main flux vector.
The electrical moment can be represented as a vector product between the rotor flux vector and the stator current vector, so that M - If2XIi applies. In addition to the relationships shown in FIG. 2, it also applies to the slip frequency c) 2 = coi - c). The abbreviations are also used below

With multiphase AC machines, the rotation vectors of the voltages that occur
Describe currents and flows in each case by the instantaneous values of their components occurring in the individual phase windings, since these rotation vectors result from the geometric addition of their instantaneous values occurring in the individual machine axes.
If, as shown in Fig. 3 using the example of the rotary flux vector 0, the origin of a complex coordinate system is placed in the axis of rotation of a three-phase induction machine and its real axis is placed in the direction of the winding axis labeled R, then the rotary flux vector 0 can be described at any moment through the complex equation
EMI3.11
where eR, Os and OT should mean the instantaneous values of the variables occurring in the individual phases.
In the following, the indices R, S or T should always refer to scalar instantaneous values of the individual phase quantities.
4 shows a device for determining a variable proportional to the square of the amount of the rotary flux vector as a starting value for the formation of the actual values required for regulating the three-phase asynchronous machine. Use is made of the fact that in a zero-component-free rotation system the sum of the instantaneous values in the individual phases is always equal to zero, so that only the instantaneous values of two phases need to be used as a starting point when calculating the absolute value of the rotary flux vector.
The device shown in FIG. 4 is divided into two main parts, designated 16 and 17, of which the former serves to generate the instantaneous values OR and Os of the flows occurring in phases R and S from the primary variables of the asynchronous machine. Since the star point of the asynchronous machine is generally not readily accessible or available, two current transformers 18 and 19 are provided in device 16, which are connected to phases R and T and S and T on the primary side.
Their output voltage URT and UST on the secondary side are fed to operational amplifiers 20 to 23, in whose triangle symbol their corresponding gain factor is entered. The output voltages of the operational amplifiers 20 and 21 as well as 22 and 23 are each fed to a summing element and added there according to the noted sign, so that quantities corresponding to the phase voltages UR and Us appear at the outputs of these summing elements.
To generate the quantities corresponding to the phase currents and their time derivatives, two current transformers 24 and 25 are arranged in the supply lines to the motor phases U and V, each of which is loaded on the secondary side with a load consisting of the series connection of an ohmic resistor 26 and an inductance 27 . The connection between the ohmic resistor 26 and the inductance 27 is grounded.
The voltage drop across resistor 26 to earth can thus be taken as a measure for the respective phase current, which corresponds to the voltage measured to inductance 27 to earth, then the negative value of the time derivative of the respective phase current. Both ends of the secondary winding of the current transformers 24 and 25 are routed to the inputs of operational amplifiers 28-31 and connected to external terminals 32-35, the use of which will be discussed later.
The outputs of the amplifiers 28 and 29 and the output of the summing element assigned to the amplifiers 20 and 21 are added; the same applies to the outputs of the amplifiers 30 and 31 and to the output of the summing element assigned to the amplifiers 22 and 23. Thus, taking into account the underlying equivalent circuit diagram according to FIG. 2, a voltage appears at terminals 36 and 37 which is proportional to the time derivative of the instantaneous values of the phase fluxes OR and Os.
These voltages are each fed to an integrator 38 and 39, so that the instantaneous values of the phase fluxes OR and 0s appear at the output terminals 40 and 41 of the device 16. Since these instantaneous values are pure alternating quantities in their temporal course, electronic integration devices, however, tend towards a zero point shift due to drift phenomena, which results in a distorting direct current component, the integrators are fed back by means of amplifiers 42 and 43.
The amplifiers 42 and 43 are proportional amplifiers with integral behavior and are usually called PI amplifiers. As a result, the mentioned direct current component can be effectively suppressed. If T denotes the integration time of the integrators 38 and 39, T "denotes the reset time and V denotes the proportional gain of the PI amplifiers 42 and 43, the dynamic transmission properties of the overall arrangement are favorable when the following condition is met: 2T / T "GV, whereby the proportional gain itself should be chosen as small as possible.
The instantaneous values of the phase fluxes OR 1 and 0.5s are fed to the input terminals 44 and 45 of a device 17, which uses them to form a variable proportional to the square of the magnitude of the rotary flux vector 0 occurring in the asynchronous machine 4. The product of each instantaneous value with itself as well as the two instantaneous values with each other is formed and added, for which purpose the device labeled 17 in FIG. 17 contains three multipliers and a summing element. Accordingly, a voltage occurs at output terminal 46 d_r with 17, which corresponds to the square of the magnitude of the rotary flux vector 0 except for a constant factor.
FIG. 4a shows another variant for forming the absolute square of a rotation vector from the instantaneous values of two of its phase variables. One phase variable is fed directly to two summing elements 47 and 48 and the other is amplified twice. The output of the summing elements acts on one input of a multiplier each. The input variable that is twice amplified at the input of each multiplier is also fed to the other input.
If the two multiplier outputs are added, then, just as in the device designated 17 in FIG. 4, a quantity is produced at the output terminal 46 which is proportional to the square of the magnitude of the rotating field vector. It has this variant compared to that shown in FIG
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
the 'advantage that only two multipliers are required.
The type of multipliers used in the device according to the invention is basically arbitrary. The known time base multipliers, multipliers using Hall generators or so-called parabolic multipliers can be used here.
The latter have a relatively simple structure and essentially consist of two squaring function generators, the inputs of which are fed with the sum and the difference between two quantities and the outputs are subtracted, whereupon a quantity is obtained which is the product of the two quantities is proportional. Squaring function generators themselves consist of a number of threshold diodes connected in parallel and preloaded with different voltages. When using parabolic multipliers, one of the two function generators is superfluous if both inputs of the multiplier have the same size applied to them.
This consideration leads to the variant according to FIG. 4b. There, the OR voltage applied to input terminal 44 is applied to both inputs of a multiplier 49, which accordingly performs a purely squaring function, while the phase value applied to terminal 45 is amplified twice in an operational amplifier 50 and increased by the value 0 the input of a squaring function generator 51 arrives. The relationship A = E2 between its output variable A and input variable E is shown graphically in its block symbol.
The output signals of the elements 49 and 51 are summed with different weights and a quantity proportional to the square of the magnitude of the rotary flux vector 0 appears at the output terminal 46, as in the case of the correspondingly designated terminals in FIGS. 4 and 4a. In the variant according to FIG. 4b, the multiplier 49 can be replaced by a squaring function generator corresponding to the function generator 51, whereby when using parabolic multipliers according to the preceding with the arrangement according to FIG. 4b compared to that according to FIG. 4a, a total saving of gives two square function generators.
An output signal proportional to the magnitude of the rotary flux vector f can be obtained at its output terminal 6 from the signal occurring at terminal 46 by means of a square root function generator 52. Its characteristic curve is shown in the block symbol of the square root function generator 52, that is the course of its output voltage A as a function of its input voltage E, which generally obeys the relationship A = 1 @ E. As can be seen from FIG. 1, the value obtained at terminal 6 is used as the actual value in a flow control loop.
It is important that the flow value obtained at the output terminal 6 follows every change in the amount of the rotary flow vector practically without delay and thus provides a dynamically correct simulation of the machine flow at any point in time. The devices denoted by 17 in FIGS. 4, 4a and 4b can easily be used to determine the amount of any other rotation vector occurring within the asynchronous machine or within any three-phase system,
B. the amount of a three-phase voltage vector. In the case of sinusoidal phase voltages, the quantity obtained at terminal 6 is in a fixed ratio to the amplitude of the phase voltages applied to input terminals 44 and 45. Since, on the other hand, the output signal at terminal 6 is always unipolar, the device labeled 17 has the option for the first time to dynamically map the amplitude of a multiphase alternating voltage correctly and without delay into a direct voltage proportional to it.
This task could only be achieved incompletely by means of the rectifier circuits customary up to now, since the necessary smoothing elements naturally counteracted an instantaneous mapping of amplitude changes in the measurement AC voltage.
FIG. 5 shows a circuit for working out the actual values for torque, speed and rotor slip still required for the control arrangement according to FIG. 1, the previously used terminal designations and the corresponding reference numerals being retained for the same elements.
The phase values OR and os of the main flow obtained at the output terminals 40 and 41 of the device 16 are converted by means of the operational amplifiers 53-56, in the triangular symbols of which their gain factor is again noted, and two summing elements 57, 58 in accordance with the relationships shown in FIG transformed to the phase values of the rotor flux 1'2R and 112s.
The voltages 1 / 2R and 1'2s corresponding to the rotor filter phase values are applied to the input terminals 59 and 60 of a multiplier 61. The multiplier 61 forms the torque as a vector product of the rotor flux 1V2 with the stator current I,. It is found that the torque M is proportional to the expression 112R. Js -112s. JR is.
The internal circuit of the multiplier 61 therefore consists of two multipliers 62 and 63, the inputs of which are connected on the one hand to the terminals 59 and 60 or 64 and 65. The last two input terminals mentioned are connected to terminals 32 and 34 of device 16 and thus supply the corresponding inputs of multipliers 62 and 63 with quantities proportional to the instantaneous values of phase currents JR and Js.
The outputs of the multipliers 62 and 63 are subtracted from one another, the result appears as a quantity M proportional to the torque at the output terminal 66 of the multiplier 61.
FIG. 6 shows the course of the torque M at constant flux as a function of stationary slip values c) 2, which is known to correspond to the equation
EMI4.133
enough. The torque of the machine decreases beyond the tilting slip values marked with k.
If the variable M were to be used as an actual value in a torque control loop, special precautions would have to be taken so that this changing tendency of the torque curve beyond the breakdown values k does not lead to a reversal of the control direction and thus to a faulty behavior of the speed control drive as a whole can. More advantageous
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
but it seems simpler;
to linearize the torque curve M by a linear function corresponding to the degrees indicated by ML in FIG. 6, the inclination of this straight line ML being the tangent of the curve indicated by M at the origin of the coordination system shown in FIG. 6.
As is well known, the relationship between the squares of the magnitude of the main flow vector and the rotor flow vector
EMI5.13
holds, one can get ML according to the following equation:
EMI5.15
In the circuit according to FIG. 5, the last-mentioned relationship is realized in that a quantity proportional to the square of the magnitude of the main flow vector 0 is formed from the phase values OR and os of the main flux in the manner already described by means of the device 17 and, analogously, by means of a further device 17 in FIG correspondingly, a variable proportional to the square of the absolute value of the rotor flux vector, which is fed as a divisor to a quotient generator 67, the other input of which is connected to the terminal 66.
The output of the quotient generator 67 is multiplied by a variable proportional to the square of the absolute value of the main flow vector by means of a multiplier 68, so that a variable corresponding to the above linearized torque ML occurs at the output terminal 7, which is indicated in FIG Way can be used within a torque control loop.
A variable proportional to the slip c) is obtained by multiplying the output signal of the quotient generator 67 by means of the amplifier 69, the output of which is fed to terminal 8 and optionally - as indicated in FIG. 1 - can be used within the control loop there. The rotor speed co is finally obtained by subtracting the output signal of the amplifier 69 from a variable which is available at the terminal 15 mentioned in connection with FIG. 1 and is proportional to the primary frequency col.
The signal resulting from this is sent to terminal 9, with which the actual value determined for the speed controller is also worked out.
The replication of the actual values w2 and oi according to the arrangement according to FIG. 5 applies exactly only to stationary, i.e. H. steady operating conditions. For particularly high-quality controls, however, it may be necessary to use an actual speed value that also corresponds to the current speed when changing from one rotor speed to the other. To develop such a dynamic actual speed value, FIG. 7 shows an exemplary embodiment.
It is based on the idea of converting the voltage vector equation of the secondary circuit, which can be found in the equivalent circuit diagram in FIG. 2, into a scalar equation and thus obtaining a scalar variable for the rotor speed co by multiplying this equation vectorially by the vector 1V2.
The following scalar relationship then results for the rotor speed
EMI5.66
In FIG. 7 a device 16 is provided with the internal circuit illustrated in FIG. 4, the terminals 32-37 of which are connected to operational amplifiers with gain factors K and L ", in order to generate the values VJ2R, izs as well as their temporal derivatives.
In the same way as in the arrangement according to FIG. 5, a quantity proportional to the torque M is formed, which is fed to a summing element 70 by means of an operational amplifier, amplified by the factor R2. The vector product is analogous to the arrangement according to FIG
EMI5.87
formed in a multiplier 61, by means of a further operational amplifier 69 with the factor
EMI5.89
and also supplied to the summing element 70.
The output of the summing element 70 is fed to the dividend input of a quotient generator according to 71, at the other input of which there is a quantity which is formed by means of the device 17 in the manner already described and which is proportional to the square of the amount of the rotor rotation flux 1V2. The variable) d9 then appears at the output of the quotient generator 71, as a variable which exactly reproduces the dynamic actual speed value of the machine runner.
FIG. 8 shows the device-related implementation of the device designated 17 in FIG. 4b, at the same time an example of how the summing elements can be combined with operational amplifiers assigned to them. In the example shown, the operational amplifiers 50 and 73 are symmetrical differential amplifiers with a high open loop gain; H. In their unconnected state, they require a very small input current with a very low input voltage for full control.
If there is no potential difference at the input terminals labeled 74 and 75, the output of the operational amplifier used as a summing amplifier is at ground or reference potential. A positive one
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
Voltage at the input 74 labeled -: shifts the potential of the output towards negative values, while a positive input voltage acting on the input 75 labeled -f shifts the output potential of the operational amplifier in a positive direction.
The reverse is true for negative input voltages. If it is ensured that the parallel connection of all resistors connected to terminal 74 has the same total resistance as the parallel connection of all resistors connected to terminal 75, then the output voltage of the amplifier is made up of individual voltage components, each of which is assigned a feeding input voltage is.
The size of the individual voltage components results from the product of the feeding input voltage and the ratio of the negative feedback resistance R and the input resistance between the feeding input voltage and the input terminal 74 or 73. It can be seen that with these conditions with the in .Fig. 8 the values of the input resistances given, the output voltage of the summing amplifier 50 has the size 2e -f- OR.
Correspondingly, the output voltage at the terminal 46 of the summing amplifier 73 consists of three times the output voltage of the squaring function generator 49 and the single output voltage of the squarer 51.
In the exemplary embodiments, the actual value acquisition using the instantaneous values has only been illustrated by two phases, which will always be used appropriately if .the .Turning system is free of zero components and the sum of the instantaneous values of the individual phase quantities is always zero .
If this requirement does not apply to certain rotary systems, then the illustrated exemplary embodiments can be expanded to include three or more phase acquisition and processing of the individual phase values.
For the three-phase embodiment -the device designated 16 in FIG. B. only necessary to provide a further current transformer in the supply line to the machine phase W, as well as this. Assigned further operational amplifier in the manner of the amplifiers designated in Fig. 4 with 28, 29 and .30, 31 in order to be a A quantity that is proportional to the phase flow value fT.
FIG. 9 shows the three-phase analog of the devices designated 17 in FIG. 4 for forming a variable proportional to the square of the magnitude of the rotary flux vector 0. Based on the component equation (1) mentioned at the beginning, the phase flow values # PR, T and Os are applied to the input terminals of the device 80 and fed to the summing elements 81, 82 and 83 with the specified direction of action.
By means of the operational amplifiers 84 and 85 by the factors 1/2 or amplified and then to the inputs of the

appears. The formation of a variable which corresponds to the square of the magnitude of the secondary rotary flux vector! U2 can in principle be carried out in the same way.
FIG. 10 shows an example of the generation of the vector product between two rotary convectors with a multiplier 90 using all of its phase components. The multiplier device in turn represents a three-phase analogue to the device designated by 61 in FIG.
The phase values 1J @ R, Y @ S and PIT of the secondary rotary flux vector P as well as the phase values IR, Is, 'T of the primary three-phase vector II .sind also. Input terminals of the multiplier 90 are supplied to the vector product Yf2 X II to build.
The phase value YU, R, amplified twice in an operational amplifier 91, is subtracted from the sum of the two other phase values ii @ s and if2T in a summing element 92 and fed to the first input of a multiplier 93, at the second input of which the difference between the phase values Is and -IT lies,
which is formed in a summing element 94. Correspondingly, the sum of the two other phase values 1s and IT is subtracted from the phase value IR, which is twice amplified in an operational amplifier 95, in a summing element .96 and fed to a multiplier 98,

The outputs of the multipliers 93 and 98 are subtracted in a further summing element 99 and a quantity M proportional to the electrical moment of the machine appears at the output terminal 100 as a result of this vectorial product formation.
