Fig. 10 und 11 erläutern Einzelheiten des Schaftpro fils.
Heald frame The invention relates to a heald frame with longitudinal bars which are connected to one another by end struts running transversely thereto.
In previous heald frames, holders are attached to the longitudinal beams, e.g. welded or screwed into the profiles of the longitudinal beams. A larger number of such holders, e.g. 6 to 8 pieces, distributed. The holders protrude towards the center of the shaft. Litz rails are screwed or riveted to them, or they can be removed, e.g. stretched on tenons.
As a result of the holders for the heddle support rails inserted into the longitudinal beams, the shaft cannot fall below a certain height. The operator of a weaving machine with such shafts often has difficulty reaching over the shafts from the front of the machine in the event of thread breaks and to repair the thread breaks.
The invention is based on the object of creating a heald frame which is improved in this respect.
The invention lies in the fact that each longitudinal bar continues on the inner edge facing the other longitudinal bar into a hook-shaped end which extends over the entire longitudinal bar length and forms part of the longitudinal bar profile on which warp thread strands are suspended immediately. In this way it can be achieved that the heald frame has a lower overall height with the same height of the warp thread strands, namely with the same distance between the end loops of the healds, because heald support rails, as they are attached to the longitudinal beams in previous heald frames, can be dispensed with at all.
In the heald frame according to the invention, the warp thread strands are hung directly into the hook-shaped end of the longitudinal beam profiles. The hook-shaped end of each longitudinal beam profile contributes to sufficient rigidity and load-bearing strength of the profile and at the same time forms the hanging device for the warp thread strands.
The new heald frame also proves to be advantageous because the hook-shaped ends are closed against the eyes of the warp thread strands. The opening of the hook formed by the end faces away from the strand eyelets. The main source of dust and fluff during weaving is the strand eyelets because there is constant friction with the warp threads. The heald frame according to the invention prevents dust and fluff from collecting in the hook-shaped ends of the longitudinal beams. The drawing shows exemplary embodiments.
Fig. 1 shows an overview of an entire heald frame.
Fig. 2 is a section through the shaft on a larger scale.
3 to 6 explain the manufacture of a first embodiment of a shaft profile, FIGS. 7 to 9 show a modified embodiment of the manufacture.
Fig. 10 and 11 explain details of the Schaftpro fils.
In FIG. 1, the upper longitudinal bar is denoted by 1, the lower longitudinal bar by 2, the two transverse end struts with 3, 4, the warp thread strands with 5 and the thread eyelets with 6.
The upper longitudinal beam profile 1 is bent asymmetrically in its lower part at 14. The eccentric edge 15 that is produced in this way is bent upwards to form a hook-shaped end 16. The lower longitudinal beam profile 2 is designed in a corresponding manner.
The warp thread strands 5 with their corresponding hook ends 17 are hung over the two hook-shaped ends 16. The hook-shaped ends of the longitudinal bars 1, 2 extend over the entire length of the bars 1, 2 visible in FIG. 1. The interior 18 of the hook-shaped ends 16 is covered against the thread eyelets 6 and thereby protected from dust and fluff.
The hook-shaped ends 16 form load-bearing parts of the longitudinal beams 1, 2, so that the overall height A of each longitudinal beam profile does not need to be greater than approximately the height of a longitudinal beam profile of a previous shaft, on which, however, the heddle support rail must still be attached on the inside . With the same distance C between the end eyelets or the hooks 17 of the strands 5, the overall overall height B of the shaft is therefore less than that of a previous shaft.
The eccentric edge 15 makes it possible to ensure that the hook ends 16 and thus the counter-hooks 17 as well as the entire warp thread strands 5 lie within the thickness D of the shaft profiles.
The longitudinal beam profile 1 or 2 can e.g. accordingly FIGS. 3 to 6 be made. The starting point is the steel sheet 21 according to FIG. 3 and the sheet is first bent into the U-shape according to FIG. It is then bent asymmetrically at 14 (FIG. 5), after which the end 16 is bent into the hook shape according to FIG.
In the modified embodiment according to FIGS. 7 to 9, the hollow profile 22 made of sheet steel is assumed. This is bent asymme cally according to FIG. 8 at 14. At 23, in contrast to point 24 according to FIG. 5, there is then a continuous bend. Finally, the end 16 is again bent into the hook shape according to FIG.
The hook-shaped ends according to FIGS. 10, 11 are advantageously surface-hardened at 25 so that they cannot be knocked in by the opposing hooks 17 of the strands 5.
A modified embodiment is produced when the shaft has one or more intermediate struts which run parallel to the end struts 3, 4 and increase the rigidity. They can be attached in any form to the facing, hook-shaped ends 16 of the longitudinal beams 1, 2 in a fixed, detachable or displaceable manner.
By applying a correspondingly high pressing force to the parts 16 according to FIGS. 5, 8, the part of the hook-shaped ends can optionally be made to flow more or less during manufacture, so that the ends 16 practically form a part of continuous material .
