Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'on traite les- dites fibres au moyen d'une composition contenant un composé des- tructeur d'organismes nuisibles en solution ou en dispersion dans un milieu comprenant un dialkyl-sulfoxyde;

<tb> <U> ai @ 5 @ c.lEmcc- <SEP> @ 4 <SEP> e, yct @ .sS. "CL <SEP> mx @ cablel </U> The invention relates to a method of treatment of textile fibers with a view to their impregnation with a compound which destroys harmful organisms.
This process is characterized by treating said fibers with a composition containing a compound which destroys harmful organisms in solution or in dispersion in a medium comprising a dialkyl sulfoxide;
German published patent application No. 1,044,760 describes the preparation of stable dye baths, containing dye constituents (o-oxycarboxylic arylamides diacids), a preparation in which is incorporated in the bath, to obtain the desired stability, dimethyl sulfoxide. US Pat. No. 2,845,326 describes the preparation of stable compositions based on diazotizable amines, used for dyeing textile fibers and provides for using, to form at least part of the solvent and to obtain the desired stability, dimethyl sulfoxide (see claim 10 and example 6, col.
6). However, neither of these two patents discusses the use of compositions containing a pest-killing compound in solution or in dispersion in a medium comprising a dialkyl sulfoxide.
Although various organic solvents and dispersing agents have been proposed as carriers of pest-killing compounds, the resulting compositions have not given entirely satisfactory results in their commercial applications due to their lack of stability. , the limited compatibility of Nagent carrier with various substrates, and due to the low cost of the carrier agents employed.
The present invention makes it possible to overcome the above drawbacks and obtain numerous additional advantageous results. The solutions and dispersions used in the process according to the invention are characterized by good preservation, by remarkable compatibility with a wide range of substrates and by their relatively low cost price.
