School blackboards are known (German utility model 1935 129) School blackboards with so-called inserts. These insert wings have a foldable part that can be pivoted about a lower axis. After opening, pictures, e.g. Maps are inserted. After closing the flap, the inserted picture is visible through the writing surface made of glass. The student can now e.g. complete the map by entering cities or the like.
With the known insert sashes, only picture panels can be used that are adapted to the format of the insert sash.
The invention is based on the object of designing a school blackboard so that hand-drawn pictures, writings or formulas and picture boards of any desired format can also appear under a transparent surface.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that a transparent and displaceable front board is arranged in front of the writing surface of a main board.
The invention has made it possible to bring writings, formulas or pictures written in chalk on the main board under the transparent front board. This further improves the teaching possibilities of the blackboard. One can e.g. Write a math problem on the main blackboard, then slide the transparent board over it and have the student write in the result. In the event of an erroneous result, no wiping out is necessary, but the sliding transparent front panel could be pushed a little further, after which another result could be entered.
In a preferred embodiment of the inven tion, the front panel can be lifted off the writing surface before it is moved and, in the position of use, is applied to the writing surface directly or at a small distance. Lifting it while moving prevents the transparent front panel from pushing away pictures or the like that are attached to the main panel.
By placing the front board close to the main board, it is ensured that the pictures or writings under the board are easily recognizable and that the writing on the front board corresponds well with the text or pictures underneath in every direction of view.
At the upper edge of the main board holding devices for picture boards can be arranged. These holding devices can be clamps, e.g. are designed as balls guided on a wire. In this way, picture boards of any size can be clamped at any point on the main board, after which the transparent front board can be pushed over the hung picture boards.
At least part of the main board can be magnetic. Such a board offers further possibilities for the attachment of picture boards or the like if these are treated with a ferromagnetic mass. It is suitable here e.g. Iron powder stirred into a lacquer. On such a magnetic board, which can also be written on, both prepared picture boards or the like, which are provided with the ferromagnetic paint on one side, and those boards in which the ferromagnetic paint is between two layers of cardboard, adhere.
With the help of such a magnetic board, e.g. Furnishing plans can be produced by moving the various furnishing parts accordingly, the possibility of sliding over the transparent front panel having the advantage that parts can be drawn in in addition to the stapled parts.
The transparent front panel can be pivoted outwards around its upper edge and has locking devices on its lower edge to hold the writing position. Such a mechanism is particularly easy to construct. He can e.g. have a guide rail, which is laid parallel to the upper edge of the main board and has a C-shaped cross-section, which is open at the bottom, the front board being suspended on rollers of preferably spherical shape lying in the rail cavity.
With such a simple device, both the longitudinal displacement of the transparent front panel and its pivoting is possible.
The locking devices can be attached to the lower edge of the transparent front panel magnets, which cooperate with an existing surface made of ferromagnetic sheet metal on the lower edge of the main board, the sheet metal surface preferably being part of a tray attached to the main board. With such a locking device, the transparent front panel can be held at any point on the main panel.
The magnets are preferably mounted so as to be springy on the perforated front panel, horseshoe magnets preferably being used. Such a resilient mounting enables the magnets to be adjusted to the opposing surface, so that no air gap can arise between the magnet and the opposing surface, which ensures a high holding force. The use of horseshoe magnets also helps to achieve a high holding force.
The transparent front panel can be stored in a frame made of wood, metal, plastic or some other material, the locking devices and suspension devices being fastened to this frame.
The guide rail can be fastened in a box which is fastened to the upper edge of the main panel, is approximately square in cross section and is open at the bottom. Such an accommodation of the guide rail serves to avoid contamination and gives the panel an advantageous appearance.
At the top of the main board a rollable screen can be arranged over part of the length of the board, the roll-up mechanism being housed in a box with the same cross-sectional dimensions as the dimensions of the box for the guide rail.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown; 1 shows a view of the panel according to the invention, FIG. 2 shows a plan view in the direction of arrow II in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a side view of the main panel and the transparent, movable front panel, FIG. 4 shows a panel part with a light screen suspended from it ,
5 shows a section along line V-V in FIG. 1, enlarged compared to FIG. 1, and FIG. 6 shows a section along line VI-VI in FIG. 1, enlarged compared to FIG. 1.
The panel shown consists essentially of two main panels la and 1b, which are attached to sliding frames 2a and 2b so that they can be adjusted in height and one through visible front panel 3. The possibility of vertical shifting is indicated in FIG is shown in dashed lines. The slide begestelle 2a and 2b can be of a known type of construction.
According to the invention, the transparent front panel 3 is displaceable along the main panel la, the suspension of which is shown in more detail in the section according to FIG. This sliding, transparent front panel has a frosted glass pane 5 which is held in a wooden or metal frame 6. The front surface 5 'of the frosted glass pane 5 is roughened and well suited for writing.
Brackets 7 made of sheet metal for plastic rollers are screwed onto the upper bar of the frame 6. These plastic rollers are received in a cross-sectioned C-shaped rail 9 which is open at the bottom. The rail 9 is housed in a box designated overall by 10. This box has a substantially square cross-section and consists of an outer sheet metal shell consisting of parts 11 and 12 and a lining made of wooden strips 13, 14 and 15. The box is by means of wood screws 16 BEFE Stigt at the top of the main panel la. The sheet metal part 11 forms at the same time the metal panel frame on the upper edge, which surrounds the upper edge of the panel with a bevel 17.
In the bar 13 clamping devices 18 are BEFE Stigt. These consist of a wire 19 on which a ball can be moved. It can be clearly seen from the drawing that the ball 20 approaches the fold 17 and finally touches it when it is moved downward on the wire 19.
At the lower edge of the main board 1, a sheet metal profile 21 is screwed (screw 22). This Blechpro fil serves as a shelf for chalk and the like. The profile consists of a ferromagnetic material, namely sheet steel.
On the lower bar 6a of the frame 6 Ma gnetschnäpper 23 are attached. These are horseshoe magnets, which can be moved somewhat out of the bar 6a against a spring force, so that they can lie against the metal profile 21 without an air gap even with slight unevenness.
In Fig. 6 arranged in front of the panel 1b light screen 24 is shown. The roll-up device 25 for the projection screen is accommodated in a box 10 ', the cross-sectional dimensions of which are exactly the same as the cross-sectional dimensions of the box 10, so that the panels 1 a and 1 b have a uniform appearance. Clamping devices 18 are also arranged on the panel 1b.
Of the surface of the panel la, the left part located under the slide 3 in Fig. 1 is magnetic, i.e. Objects treated with ferromagnetic material without their own magnetism or even ferromagnetic objects without their own magnetism and also self-magnetic objects can stick to the board surface. This is a known writable plastic.
When using the board, the slider 3 (front board) can be pushed anywhere on the main board la. For this purpose, the front panel 3 is captured from the side or below and moved forward by a small jerk, the magnetic catches 23 being torn from the sheet metal 21. The front board 3 can now be pivoted in the rail 9 and thus lifted off the writing surface of the main board. It is now easy to move it to another location on the main board.
In order to bring the transparent front panel back into its writing position, it is pressed with its lower bar 6a against the sheet metal profile 21, a well-adhering connection between the sliding front panel and the profile 21 being achieved by the magnetic catch.
The possibility of lifting off has the advantage that the transparent front board can be brought very close to the writing surface of the main board in the writing position, so that writing or picture boards located on the main board are clearly visible, although relatively thick objects on the main board panel can be attached, but are not pushed away when moving the transparent front panel. Correspondingly prepared picture boards or smaller objects can be attached to the magnetic part of the board la. Unprepared picture boards can be hung on the picture clamps 18.
The invention has been described using a front panel formed as a slide that can be lifted from the main panel below. However, the invention also includes a board in which the front board can be lifted parallel from the main board before it is moved, e.g. with the help of a parallelogram-like suspension. A front panel, which can be pivoted about a fixed vertical right or horizontal axis before it is moved, also falls under the invention.
