Description
Road traffic control station The subject of the invention is a road traffic control station, characterized in that it comprises an observation cabin supported by a structure forming a garage intended to store at least one motor vehicle.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention. FIG. 1 is a cross section thereof, and FIG. 2 is a longitudinal section.
The control station shown includes a garage 1 consisting of a frame (in tubular elements' u profiles) 2, braced by transverse cladding 3 supporting opaque materials forming the walls (metal plates, or synthetic material, fibers and cement or other ).
These plates can preferably be isothermal and soundproof.
A double-leaf door or the like allows the passage of a vehicle used by the occupants.
A flue gas discharge pipe 4 leads to a water condensation tank 5, in the event that the engine is started without opening the doors. A multi-wire connection line 6 from the vehicle is provided for electrical or radio connections to the observation cabin.
A flexible or folding ladder 7 provides access through the manhole 8 to an observation cabin or watchtower 9.
The watchtower itself is formed by a fixed body of suitable dimensions; its roof 10 is opaque and in the form of a cup or mushroom covering the periphery of a sighting window.
The watchtower contains a rotating seat 11 with a backrest that folds onto the cushion. Everything can be lifted forward. At the front part of this seat is arranged a retractable support 12 for a control device. This seat and its occupant are entirely concealed by an opaque soft top 13 with bellows, pivoting with the seat and being able to fold back towards the rear.
It is specified that the manhole is blocked by the surface 14 of the seat (FIG. 1), when the latter is in the position of use.
In addition, the garage formed by the basic structure could be replaced by four pillars supporting the platform.
The observation post shown is made so that its exterior appearance remains the same, whether it is empty or occupied. It is intended to be installed at dangerous points on road circuits in order to allow surveillance, and photographic or cine matographic observation of traffic violations. This station can be fixed or removable, that is to say transportable to desired points.
Its purpose is to create a psychological effect intended to alert a driver and lead him to respect the rules of conduct, even in the absence of the supervisors.
