Description
Filter The present invention relates to a filter, e.g. B. spatial filter, consisting of a housing and a filter material located in this, it is located between a lower and an upper plate.
In such filters, the filter material must be stored tightly, which is achieved by first shaking it when filling and then pressing it together by means of plates or the like.
It is known to press these plates against one another by means of springs or pressure screws. However, this type of definition is relatively complex.
The present invention overcomes these disadvantages and relates to a filter of the type mentioned at the beginning, which is characterized in that the two plates are held together by means of tie rods passing through the filter mass.
This construction not only ensures that the panels are flawlessly fixed, it is also characterized by its considerable simplicity.
It is useful if the lower plate attached to the Ge housing, for. B. is welded to this via an angle ring. The top plate can be slidably mounted in the housing.
The subject of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing, for example, which represents an exemplary embodiment from the subject of the invention in the middle longitudinal section.
The illustrated cylindrical filter has a housing 1 in which the filter mass 2, for. B. coal granulate is stored. The air to be cleaned flows through a lower screw connection 4 into the filter, through the carbon layer 2 and then through an upper screw connection 3 out of the filter.
The filter mass 2 is located between an obe Ren perforated plate 5 and a lower perforated plate 6, which is threaded through several, at the upper and lower end part with Ge threaded tie rod 7, of which only one is Darge, according to the size of the filter, against each other or . be pressed against the filter mass. The filter mass 2 is stored tightly and tightly packed in this way. The lower perforated plate 5 is welded to the housing 1 via a ring 8 which is angular in cross section. It also has a nut 10 or a threaded ring above the holes 9 through which the tie rods 7 pass. The nut or the ring is welded to the perforated plate 5.
The upper end of each tie rod protrudes through a hole 11 of the upper perforated plate 6 which in turn is slidably mounted in the housing 1 through. At the upper end of each tie rod there is a nut 12 which presses against the perforated plate 6. The filter material is pressed by tightening the nuts 12.
