fonsäure in üblicher Weise erhal tene Diazoverbindung hinzulaufen.

In certain cases, the dry preparations according to the invention can be prepared directly, that is to say without intermediate isolation of the dyes, by spray drying the entire preparation mixture.
The novel dyes according to the invention are suitable for dyeing and printing a wide variety of materials, such as silk, leather, wool, superpolyamide fibers and super-polyurethanes, but especially cellulose-containing materials with a fibrous structure such as linen, cellulose, regenerated cellulose and, above all, cotton .
They are particularly suitable for dyeing cellulose by the so-called pad dyeing process, after which the goods are impregnated with aqueous and possibly also salt-containing dye solutions and the dyes are fixed on the goods to be dyed by an alkali treatment, preferably with heat . This process and the direct staining method,
which can also be used with many of the dyes obtained according to the present process, results in dyeings which are generally characterized by good lightfastness and above all by excellent wet properties.
After the printing process, valuable and genuine prints are also obtained on cellulose fibers if the dyes are fixed to the printed goods by heat treatment in the presence of alkali.
After dyeing or printing, it is advisable to remove the unfixed dye as completely as possible. For this purpose, the dyeings and prints are rinsed thoroughly with warm and cold water and subjected to a soaping process in the presence of non-ionic dispersants and / or wetting agents.
