Disconnectors To achieve better short-circuit resistance of disconnectors when they are switched on, disconnectors are often used with a double switch blade per pole, which consists of two switch blades that run parallel to each other and, in the switched-on position, rests on both sides in a stationary mating contact. Such disconnectors have the advantage over disconnectors with single knives that the attractive forces between the parallel knives that run parallel to each other increase the contact pressure and thus largely compensate for the contact-lifting forces that occur in the event of a short circuit.
In spite of this, it is necessary, especially with disconnectors for high nominal and short-circuit currents for reliable contact, to press the switch blades against one another with a relatively large spring force in order to produce a sufficiently high contact pressure.
The use of correspondingly strong springs to increase the contact pressure, however, has the disadvantage that the required drive torque of the disconnector when releasing or closing the contacts in the switched-on position is extremely large. This places increasing demands on the disconnector drive and the transmission links between the compressed air or motor drive and the switch blade itself. In addition, at very high contact pressures there is the disadvantage that the friction when switching on and off causes relatively great wear and tear on the contact pieces, which makes the use of silver-plated contacts with this type of switch more difficult.
These disadvantages are no longer present in the new isolating switch with a double switching blade consisting of two switching blades parallel to one another, which in the switched-on position bears resiliently on both sides of a stationary mating contact piece.
According to the invention, the new solution consists in providing a wedge connected to the drive rod of the double indexing knife and movably mounted within certain limits between the indexing knives, which wedge slides into a gap between the indexing knives when moving out of its starting position so that the switch blade spreads, and that a locking device effective between the double cutting blade and stationary parts holds the wedge in the spread position in all switching positions of the isolating switch except in the on position.
The combination of a slidably or pivotably arranged wedge connected to the switching rod with a locking device that only allows this wedge to return to its starting position in the switched-on position ensures that at the end of the switch-on movement, the full contact pressure between the stationary mating contact piece and the Double indexing knife is available. At the same time - even with stronger trained springs for compressing the switch blade - only a fraction of the previously required torque is required to switch the disconnector on or off.
In addition, the friction between the contact pieces is substantially reduced, but not completely eliminated, so that the automatic cleaning of the contact points is maintained by the remaining friction residue.
An embodiment is shown in Fig. 1 in a side view and in Fig. 2 in a plan view of the separating knife (partly as a section). The isolating switch consists of the base frame 1, the supports 2, the stationary contact pieces 3 and 4 and the switching blades 5 and 6, which together form the double switching blade and which are pressed against each other by a spring 7. The switching blades 5 and 6 with the parts arranged in the space between these switching blades and to be described later are shown in FIG. 1 in two different positions.
In the space between the switch blades 5 and 6, a wedge 8 is mounted in slots 9 so that it can move longitudinally. The tip of the wedge 10 protrudes into a gap between the switch blades 5 and 6, which is formed by projections 11 and 12 on the inside of the switch blades 5 and 6. In addition, an intermediate piece 13 consisting of two parallel metal sheets is connected to the wedge 8, which carries a roller 14 at its end facing away from the wedge, which rests on the fixed contact piece 3 located at the pivot point of the double switch blade between the switch blades 5 and 6.
The contact piece 3 is shaped so that a displacement of the intermediate piece 13 with the wedge 8 fastened therein in the direction of the pivot point of the double switch blade is only possible in the on position of the disconnector. The wedge can therefore reach its starting position shown in Fig. 2 and in the lower position of the double switch blade in Fig. 1 only when the disconnector is switched on. Furthermore, a three-point lever 15 is rotatably mounted between the switch blades 5 and 6, at the bearing point 16 engages the drive rod of the circuit breaker, indicated only by dash-dotted lines in FIG.
In addition, FIG. 1 shows the drive shaft 17 of the disconnector and, for three different positions 18, 19 and 20, the position of the end of the drive rod facing away from the double switch blade.
In the switched-on position of the disconnector shown at the bottom in FIG. 1, the wedge 8 assumes its starting position and the switch blades 5 and 6 are with full contact pressure on the mating contact piece 4. When the drive shaft 17 is rotated so weiterge from the switched-on position 18, the lower end of the drive rod migrates from the position 18 to the position 19, the pivot point 16 of the three-point lever 15 moves along the dash-dotted line 21 to the point 22. This is the wedge 8 is shifted to the right in FIG. 1 and upward in FIG. 2.
Its tip 10 pushes further between the projections 11 and 12, so that the switch blades 5 and 6 are spread apart against the force of the spring 7. At the same time, a force acts on the double switch blade which tries to move the switch blade into the switch-off position. As a result, the roller 14 is pressed against the fixed contact piece 3, which is designed as a cam, so that an additional force to move the wedge 8 acts via the intermediate piece 13. As soon as the wedge has reached its spread position, the roller 14 can roll on the circumference of the fixed contact piece 3 and the double switch blade moves into its switched-off position.
The hinge point 16 moves from point 22 along the dash-dotted line 21 to the position shown above, in which the lower end of the drive rod has reached point 20. When the disconnection switch is turned on again, the roller 14 rolls back on the circumference of the fixed contact piece 3 until, when the lower end of the drive rod returns to the position 18, the wedge regardless of the friction between the tip 10 and the projections 11 and 12 and regardless of even tuell occurring bearing friction has inevitably returned to its original position. This ensures that the disconnector can be switched off and on with a minimal amount of drive torque, even when the contact pressure is increased.
The parts to be inserted between the switch blades do not require any additional space. The locking and spreading device consists of only a few easy-to-manufacture parts, so that existing disconnector types can be equipped with it without any significant effort, especially since the electrical data of the disconnectors remain completely unchanged.
On the other hand, in new designs, significantly smaller drive and transmission elements can be used for the disconnector drive due to the significantly lower torque and, above all, the equalized torque curve. It does not matter whether the circuit breaker has a manual, motor or compressed air drive.
