Fig. 5 zeigt die Kartoffelschälmaschine mit einem Verschluss.
Device for peeling potatoes or similar fruits The invention relates to a device for peeling potatoes or similar fruits, the fruits being fed to the peeling machine by a conveying device and the fruits coming from the machine being fed to a cleaning table.
Such a working method is known per se. This essentially consists in the fact that the fruit peeling machine fed from a storage space by means of an elevator or a screw, e.g. B. potatoes, then fed to a water bath, from which they are fed to a finishing table by means of a second elevator or a screw. After the potatoes have been peeled, the peeling machine is tilted as a whole and the potatoes, including the waste pans and the water, are fed into the water bath.
This method is cumbersome in that certain structural requirements must be met to carry out the project, quite apart from the fact that the construction costs are considerable due to the arrangement of two elevators.
The invention provides a device which brings an improvement in this regard. It is characterized in that the conveying device consists of a conveyor belt running diagonally upwards, on which transverse strips are arranged for the purpose of taking along the fruit; In addition, the fruit peeling machine is provided with devices that allow timely actuation of the fruit outlet flap and the closure of the waste water opening.
The entire device can have a switching mechanism by which the individual operations are controlled in such a way that the conveyor is in operation for a certain time, whereby a certain amount of the fruit gets into the constantly running peeling machine. The switching mechanism can also cause a specific, but variable peeling time. A pressure cylinder for actuating the fruit outlet flap or the waste water seal can be arranged on the outside of the machine on the fruit peeling machine.
Each pressure cylinder can be gelen kig arranged on the peeling machine and the piston rod of the cylinder on the outlet flap or the closure, for example a slide, each ge articulated. Air is preferably used as the pressure medium. In principle, of course, hydraulic hydraulic actuation is also possible. The pneumatic loading of the piston of the pressure cylinder has the advantage of greater cleanliness and reliability.
In principle, it is of course also possible to actuate the flap or the slide by electrical or electromagnetic means.
After peeling the fruit, e.g. B. the potatoes, first the pressure cylinder for the slide of the sewage opening and then the pressure cylinder for the flap of the Austrittsöff voltage can be actuated by the same switching mechanism with the aid of, for example, a solenoid valve. The flap or the slide is then kept open for a certain time and then then closed. If these switching processes are repeated in a certain tempo, a fully automatic device is created.
A subsequent cleaning table is advantageously provided after the fruit peeling machine, which consists of an endless, horizontally lying conveyor belt, over which several, essentially parallel walls are fixedly arranged so that channels result into which the Fruits, e.g. B. the potatoes, each come to rest after their peeling state. In a special embodiment of the finishing table, the two middle walls can run in a wedge shape at one end.
On both sides of the middle walls another wall can be arranged at a distance from the edge of the endless conveyor belt, which has a horizontal surface on the underside at a small distance above the belt as a shelf. The two outer walls, together with the middle walls, form channels into which the fruits enter and which are closed at the end.
Through these different walls, the conveyor belt is divided into several sections, the outer sections serving to transport the waste of the fruit; the middle section is used to transport the peeled fruits; the two sections between the middle and the outer section are used to bring the fruit.
The cleaning table and the conveyor are advantageously arranged in such a way that they can be separated from the fruit shearing machine. In particular, they are designed to be mobile. This makes it possible to work with or without a conveyor or finishing table, depending on the requirements of the individual case.
In the drawing, an example Ausfüh approximately form of the subject invention is shown in more detail. FIG. 1 shows the device with a peeling machine together with the conveyor device and the post-cleaning table, FIG. 2 shows a top view of the device according to FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a section along the line aa, FIG. 4 shows the potato peeling machine with a flap,
Fig. 5 shows the potato peeling machine with a closure. The container 1 is arranged above or partially above the belt 3 . This ensures that the spaces formed by drivers 6 in the form of transverse strips are constantly filled with potatoes, so that a certain amount is always taken when the belt 3 circulates.
The conveyor device 2 is arranged at an angle and is equipped with wheels 43. It can be moved to position 2 '. The upper pulley is attached in the area of the outlet channel 7 of the housing of the conveyor device. The potato peeling machine is housed in a closed box 9 . The potatoes fall into the peeling chamber of the potato peeling machine in a manner known per se via the channel 7 .
Between the channel 7 and the potato peeling machine, a metering device can optionally be connected in which a contact is actuated by the sinking of a weighing pan, whereby the conveying device is switched off.
After the potatoes have been peeled, the waste water is drained together with the peel via the waste water opening 10 . The exit flap 11 of the potato peeling machine then opens.
The waste water opening is closed by a closure. This is automatically opened or closed after the peeling process has ended, and the flap is automatically opened and closed as soon as the waste water is drained. The relevant devices are shown in FIGS. 4 and 6.
The peeled potatoes fall via a channel 12 onto the mobile cleaning table, which is designated as a whole with 13 . This re-cleaning table consists of a circumferential belt 14 which is guided over rollers 15 and 16 . A plurality of walls 17, 18, 19 and 20 are arranged essentially parallel above the band (FIG. 3). Channels 21 are formed through these walls , 22, 23, 24 and 25 . The channel 23 is bevelled in a wedge shape at the front end by metal sheets 26 , at the other end the channel is open. Guide plates 27 and 28 are arranged on walls 17 and 20. The channels 22 and 24 are closed at the end.
On the walls 20 and 17 in each case in the channel 22 and 24 storage areas 28 are arranged.
Via the channel 12, the potatoes reach the belt 14. From there they are distributed into the channel 22 and 24, respectively. They are taken up there by the workers sitting on both sides of the belt in order to be treated afterwards; For this purpose, some of the potatoes are placed on the tray 28 .
The waste falls into the channel 25 or 21, and it is then automatically transported through the belt into the waste container 29 . The post-treated potatoes are placed in the channel 23 and from there are filled into the collecting container 31 with the aid of the belt via the tongue 30 . Walls 32 are also attached to prevent the waste from mixing up with the potatoes.
In Fig. 4 the potato peeling machine is shown separately. The flap 11 is automatically opened and closed with the aid of the pressure cylinder 3 3.
The piston 34 of this cylinder has an articulated bracket 35 at its end, which is also articulated on the flap 11 . The pressure cylinder 33 itself is also attached to the housing of the potato peeling machine in an articulated manner at 36 . The actuation of the piston of the pressure cylinder is preferably carried out with the aid of compressed air.
In Fig. 5, the closure of the waste water opening is shown. This essentially consists of a slide 37 which is also operated with the aid of a pressure cylinder 38 . The piston of the pressure cylinder is articulated on the slide at 39, and the pressure cylinder 38 is articulated at 40 on a support 41 that is attached to the potato peeling machine. The actuation of the pressure cylinder 38 also takes place with the aid of compressed air.
