Bright varifocal lens The patent claim of the main patent describes a bright varifocal lens, in which a vario part, which is also made up of four members, is arranged in front of a basic lens, which faces the image plane and is made up of four airspace-separated elements.
of which the member facing the object side and the member facing the base lens have positive refractive power and are stationary (irrespective of an axial adjustment of the object-side member to be made for the purpose of distance adjustment), while between these two negative members for the purpose of changing the focal length in the direction of the optical Axis are mutually displaceable, the refractive forces within the individual members are distributed in the overall system in such a way that
that the absolute value of the focal length of the link following the front link is smaller than twice the numerical value of the focal length of the basic lens. The design is expedient in such a way that the diaphragm can be accommodated between the vario part and the basic lens with a reflective prism in front of it for reflex viewfinders and that, despite the fact that the lens diameter is minimal and the vignetting is low, the image format can also be identified with close-up focus - using the positive element on the object side takes place - is guaranteed.
The aim of the present invention is to obtain the smallest possible dimensions of the total vertex height and the lens diameter with little expenditure of optical means and to increase the image performance by reducing the residual errors of astigmatism, image field flattening and coma.
