Arrangement for guiding the cooling medium on salient pole rotors in electrical machines The main patent describes an arrangement for guiding the cooling medium on salient pole rotors in electrical machines, in which the cooling medium entering the pole gaps in the axial direction is then deflected radially outwards into the Stator crosses, with the exciter windings in the pole gaps being secured against centrifugal force by winding supports.
The pole gaps are formed between the two parts of the exciter winding and the rotor shaft, each with an axially continuous cooling channel, each arranged in them, with coolant guide segments with slots being arranged between the two radially inwardly directed and facing parts of the exciter windings.
It has now been found that the invention described in the main patent can be improved if, according to the present invention, ra dial outside of the coolant guide segments and based on these in the manner of a corrugated metal guide is arranged, each with a semi-arch enclosing a slot; the guide supports can also be winding supports at the same time.
In the preferred training, these guide supports also take on the task of stiffening, winding supports and air routing.
For this purpose, reference is now made to the drawing, in which in Figs. 1 and 2 in view and plan view, the arrangement with the GE shaped like a corrugated sheet guide supports described, for example, who the.
1 and 2 are between the two Wick ment parts 1, which are arranged around the pole legs 2 of a salient pole rotor, not shown, the corrugated sheet-like guide supports 3 shown; they are attached to the coolant guide segment 4. The radial length of the guide supports 3 extends in this case to approximately the height of the pole shoes 5 of the pole runner leg and is the same size; but it can also be different. The outer sides of the semi-arches of the guide support 3 rest on the windings 1 via support elements 6 and thus act as winding supports.
The inner sides of the semi-arches each enclose a slot 7 arranged in the coolant guide segment 4, which is here circular and half covered by the radially inner part of the winding 1. Of course, the guide support 3 can also rest directly on the winding 1 without the support element 6.
It can be seen that a closed channel is formed by the inner parts of the semi-arches of the guide supports 3 and the Wick lungs 1, which extends in the radial direction from the slots 7 to approximately the air gap of the salient pole rotor. The cross-section of the channel must inevitably enlarge towards the outside, which means that the risk of the labyrinth effect for the flowing cooling medium, especially with ribbed coils (winding parts 1), is practically completely eliminated. At the same time, such a short channel will also improve the heat transfer coefficient.
The corrugated sheet-like Füh approximately supports 3 also to a certain extent an increase in the number of blades of a fan is achieved, so compared to the arrangement according to the main patent, especially for long machines, a more even coating of the individual sections with the cooling medium.
