In dieser stellt dar: Fig. 1 einen teilweisen Längsschnitt der Abricht- vorrichtung entlang der Linie C-C der Fig. 2; Fig. 2 einen teilweisen Längsschnitt der Abricht- vorrichtung .entlang der Linie B-B der :Fig. 1;
Grinding wheel dressing device The flat cone-shaped grinding wheels of the tool grinding machines are generally profiled in a straight line in the known construction types of the machines. So their shape corresponds to a straight circular cone. The dressing devices built into the machines therefore only need to guide the dressing diamond on the straight generating line of the conical surface of the grinding wheel. Round are accordingly. easy.
A straight profiled conical pulley can only be used up to a certain limit due to the pitch and depth or flutes and the diameter of the tool to be ground, if the tolerances given by the type and purpose of the tool to be sharpened the ground rake face, in particular its straightness in the radial direction, should not be exceeded.
However, especially in the case of hobs for gears, there are strict regulations in this regard; Because a convex tooth face, such as that produced by a large, rectilinearly profiled grinding wheel on a tool with a small flute incline, i.e. highly helical, twisted rake faces, also results in a convex cutting edge profile of the tool, which in turn is combined with both: milled teeth in the tendency towards the dreaded head and foot wearing.
So-called roller dressing devices have been in use for a long time, which are used in the machines instead of the tools and are screwed past the grinding wheel to be dressed by the forced rotation of the machine, with one in the device with its tip along the generating straight line of the flute screw surface The diamond, which is to be ground to and fro, has the correct geometrical profile of the grinding wheel so that it then, on the workpiece,
creates the straight flute profile.
However, this dressing process with a gear dressing device is rather cumbersome and time-consuming, since the device must be picked up in the machine instead of the workpiece and carefully adjusted. The dressing itself must also be carried out carefully and very carefully so that a clean profile is created on the grinding wheel.
The grinding wheel could be profiled much faster and cleaner with a dressing device that copies the target shape of the wheel from a template. Alignment devices for grinding wheels that work with templates are available in numerous, more or less complicated designs. A device that fulfills the above task in a tool .Sleif machine in an appropriate manner, must be met some requirements that must be met, namely: The device must be of simple design and suitable for a mechanical drive.
It must be possible to arrange the device on the grinding wheel in such a way that it can be continuously dressed during the grinding process without it being directly exposed to the action of the grinding dust.
The template must be easy to manufacture.
The dressing device according to the invention consists of a lifting cylinder attached to the protective cover of the grinding wheel with a piston on a piston rod protruding from the cylinder on both sides, around one parallel to the cylinder axis. arranged template and:
is characterized in that the dressing diamond and the stylus resting on the template are carried by arms which are attached to the piston rod, which during its longitudinal movement rotates around its axis by the stylus sliding on the template . is forced, which causes a deflection equal to the deflection of the stylus: the dressing diamond.
The stylus can be provided with a fine adjustment thread for the purpose of setting in the correct position to the template, which enables its axial adjustment.
The support of the stylus on the template can be brought about by a spring pin in the arm carrying the test pen, which is supported against a bolt arranged parallel to the axis of the lifting cylinder. An exemplary embodiment of the dressing device according to the invention is described below with reference to the drawing.
This shows: FIG. 1 a partial longitudinal section of the dressing device along the line C-C of FIG. 2; FIG. 2 shows a partial longitudinal section of the dressing device along the line B-B of: FIG. 1;
FL ,. 3 is a view of the dressing device in the direction of arrow A of FIG. 1.
In Fig. 1, 1 is the protective hood of the Flachkegelförmi gene grinding wheel 2, which sits on the grinding spindle 3. 4 is a lifting cylinder attached to the protective hood, the axis of which has the direction of the straight or approximately straight cone surface line of the grinding wheel and at a certain distance, seitlich.an the grinding wheel axis passes.
On a continuous piston rod 5, a piston 6 is attached. Via lines connected to holes 7 and 8, the Zylin derraum can be alternately connected to both sides of the piston with the pressure and drain line of the hydraulic system of the machine and thereby the Kol ben are set in reciprocating motion.
An arm 9 is fastened to the piston rod 5 and carries a stylus 10, axially adjustable with a fine thread, at a radius which corresponds to the distance between the axis of the lifting cylinder and the axis of the grinding wheel. The dressing diamond 12 is attached to a second .Arm 11 of the same length.
Parallel to the axis of the lifting cylinder, a flat template 14 is attached in a holder 13, the guide profile of which corresponds to the counter profile of the grinding wheel to be dressed, which deviates more or less from a straight line depending on the diameter and the pitch and depth of the flutes of the tool to be ground.
A cylindrical bolt 15 inserted into the cover flange of the lifting cylinder parallel to its axis and a spring pin 16 supporting against it in the arm carrying the test pin 10 ensure that the test pin rests securely on the template.
Through the test pin 10 resting on the template, the piston rod is forced to rotate around its axis during its longitudinal stroke, depending on the shape of the template. The diamond connected to the piston rod on a lever of the same length as the test pin therefore experiences the same deflection and! transfers the shape of the template onto the grinding wheel.
Since the deflection angles are only small under the given conditions, the distortion caused by the curved path of the diamond is negligibly small and is practically irrelevant. The exact setting height of the diamond, e.g. B. when building a new diamond, who can be made by adjusting the test pin by means of the fine thread.
The shape of the template could be determined either empirically or by calculation. In the simplest way, however, the template can be produced on the tool grinding machine itself.
For this purpose, the grinding wheel in the manner described above with a roller dressing device of known construction type according to the data to be ground. Tool geometrically correctly profiled.
With this grinding wheel, the template is then ground, which for this purpose is held in a clamping device in the position of the tool to be ground in the machine. Your profile corresponds to: then the counter profile of the grinding wheel
So it's hollow when @these eats ball.ig. In the correct position in the dressing device according to the invention used, the template on the grinding wheel then always results in the first dressing: the geometrically correct profile generated on it with the roller dressing device.
The cumbersome roller dressing process therefore only needs to be carried out once for the production of the template, while the ongoing dressing is carried out by the dressing device according to the invention, which is expediently offset by about 90 to the work place on the grinding wheel. The dressing can then be carried out during the grinding process at appropriate intervals, e.g.
B. after a certain number of grinding strokes.
