Monitoring device for bobbins, especially for looms The device according to the main patent relates to a photoelectric monitoring device for bobbins of textile machines, in particular weaving looms, which is dependent on the light reflected from the bobbin.
Two separate reflection systems are provided, each consisting of a photo cell and a reflection area assigned to this photo cell on the bobbin. The two reflection areas have very different reflectivities. The difference in the values supplied by the photocells in the two reflection systems is used to generate a signal that z.
B. stops the textile machine to be monitored when the bobbin is empty.
The monitoring device responds when the bobbin to be monitored no longer contains any thread or the thread is broken. In the first case, the reflection areas on the coil body become visible, in the second case a movable flap or screen with corresponding reflection areas is released and swivels into the beam path of the photocell.
To evaluate the signals supplied by the photocells, a simple electrical circuit is desired that is able to monitor all pairs of photocells in a textile machine.
Above all, however, such a monitoring device must also respond reliably if the assignment of the strongly and weakly radiating reflection areas on the coil body to the individual photocells of a photocell pair is not fixed, but can be exchanged. Serve z. B.
two photocells P1 and P2 for monitoring a coil, the monitoring device must therefore respond if either P1 is controlled light and P2 is dark or, conversely, P1 is dark and P2 is light. This is necessary because, as a rule, each coil can be inserted in two positions (running coil side up or down) and, in addition, when the coil is full, the position of the reflection areas on the coil body, e.g. B.
strongly reflective on the right and weakly reflective on the left, not easily recognizable. The monitoring device must therefore work independently of the coil position.
On the other hand, the monitoring device must not respond if, in the selected example, both the photocell P1 and the photocell P2 are controlled light or both photocells are dark-controlled.
The new photoelectric monitoring device solves this problem with at least one AND gate, at least one OR gate and at least one reversing stage, which has an electrical evaluation circuit connected to the photo cells.
To explain the invention, reference is made to the drawing, in the exemplary embodiments for the association between photocells and elec trical evaluation circuit are shown schematically. Show it:
Fig. 1 shows an electrical evaluation circuit with two AND gates, two inverters and an OR gate, Fig. 2 shows an electrical evaluation circuit with two AND gates, an invertor and an OR gate and Fig. 3 shows a circuit for coupling the elec tric Evaluation circuit on two photocells P1 and P2 in a Wheatstone bridge.
The AND gates (U) provided in the exemplary embodiments only supply an output signal (L signal) if their two inputs also carry an L signal. The OR gates (O) emit an output signal (L signal) if one of their two inputs carries a signal (L signal).
There is a signal (L signal) at the output of the inverters (I) if there is no signal (0 signal) at their input or vice versa.
In Fig. 1 P1 and P2 are the two Re flexion areas of a coil detecting photocell pair, which in a known manner, for. B. via diodes, with the inputs of the AND gates U1 and U2, once directly and once indirectly via inverters II and 12 is connected.
The output of each AND gate is connected to an input of an OR gate 01, which therefore only emits an output signal when either the photocell P1 is bright and the photocell P2 is dark or the photocell P1 is dark and the photocell P is bright is. The output signal of the OR gate 01 can then be used to report the empty state of the coils to be monitored, stop the machine, etc.
The device also responds if a movable flap or screen falls into the beam path of the two photocells when the thread breaks.
The gate circuit according to FIG. 2 contains, in contrast to the device according to FIG. 1, only one reversal stage (13), AND gate U3 and inverter 13 can be combined to form an inverted AND gate.
The monitoring device according to FIG. 2 then gives a signal via the output of the AND gate U4; if both inputs of the AND gate also carry a signal.
In Fig. 3, the two photocells P1 and P2 together with the resistors R3 and R4 form the bridge resistors of a Wheatstone bridge. The bridge is connected in a known manner to a DC voltage source.
The rectifiers G1 and G2 connected to the measuring branch (diagonal branch) of the bridge produce two bridge outputs A1 and A2 which carry a signal depending on the direction of the current flowing in the measuring branch. By arranging the two photocells P1 and P2 in a bridge, the response of the monitoring device is un dependent on fluctuations in brightness of the Spu- <RTI
