Untersuchungen haben gezeigt, dass es jedoch möglich ist, diesen Abbildungsfehler in zu lässigen Grenzen zu hatten, wenn folgende Bedingun gen eingehalten werden: a) in der objektseitigen Gruppe ist die Summe der beiden Lufträume, welche sich an die der Blende abgekehrten konvexen Aussenfläche des sammeln- den Gliedes anschliessen, grösser als 0,45 F und kleiner als 1,55 F;
b) die Summe der axialenDicke der beiden sammeln den Glieder ist grösser als F und kleiner als 2,5 F; c) der Quotient aus dem Krümmungsradius der der Blende zugekehrten Aussenfläche des sammeln- den Gliedes und der Dicke dieses Linsengliedes ist grösser 2s.1 und kleiner als 1,75;
d) das Produkt aus dem Krümmungsradius der der Blende abgekehrten Aussenfläche des sammeln den Gliedes und der Dicke dieses Linsengliedes ist grösser als 0,30 F2 und kleiner als 1,20 F2; e) in der objektseitigen Gruppe ist der Krümmungs- radius der der Blende abgekehrten Aussenfläche des sammelnden Gliedes grösser als 0,60 F;
f) in dem sammelnden Linsenglied der objektseiti- gen Gruppe ist ein nach der Blende zu hohles, vorzugsweise verkittetes Flächenpaar enthalten mit einem Krümmungsradius, der zwischen 0,28 F und 0,65 F liegt;

Wide-angle lens The invention relates to a wide-angle lens with a large opening, which through the diaphragm into a. The object-side and image-side lens group is divided, of which each group has a converging lens element located next to the diaphragm, in which at least two, preferably cemented, pairs of surfaces of opposite curvature with such a refractive index gradation are contained,
that the lower refractive index is present both on the pair of surfaces that are raised after the diaphragm and on the pair of surfaces that are hollow after the diaphragm on the diaphragm side thereof and that two or more meniscus-shaped lens members are attached to each of an air space at an increasing distance from the diaphragm turn to the aperture.
Lenses of this type are known for having an aperture ratio of 1: 5. An increase in the focal ratio was initially opposed to an increase in the spherical zone error that was no longer acceptable.
Investigations have shown that it is possible, however, to have this imaging error within permissible limits if the following conditions are met: a) In the object-side group is the sum of the two air spaces that are collected on the convex outer surface facing away from the aperture - connect the link, greater than 0.45 F and less than 1.55 F;
b) the sum of the axial thickness of the two collecting links is greater than F and less than 2.5 F; c) the quotient of the radius of curvature of the outer surface of the converging member facing the diaphragm and the thickness of this lens member is greater than 2s.1 and less than 1.75;
d) the product of the radius of curvature of the outer surface facing away from the diaphragm of the collect the member and the thickness of this lens member is greater than 0.30 F2 and less than 1.20 F2; e) in the group on the object side, the radius of curvature of the outer surface of the collecting member facing away from the diaphragm is greater than 0.60 F;
f) the converging lens element of the object-side group contains a pair of surfaces that are too hollow after the diaphragm, preferably cemented, with a radius of curvature that is between 0.28 F and 0.65 F;
g) in the image-side collecting lens element there is a pair of cemented surfaces that are raised after the diaphragm and whose radius of curvature is greater than 0.30 F and less than 0.70 F, where the refractive index on the side facing the diaphragm is smaller than on the opposite side.
Simultaneous compliance with the conditions mentioned allows the opening ratio to be increased up to 1: 2.5 and above.
It is advantageous to select the refractive index for the d-line of the helium spectrum as large as possible, at least above 1.74, on the outer surface of the collecting member of the object-side group facing away from the diaphragm.
In order to avoid an overall length that is too great, it is advantageous to choose the quotient from the sums of the air spaces connected to the collecting links of the object-side and image-side groups greater than 1.25 and less than 5.
The comatic correction for the various incident light bundles inclined to the optical axis can be improved if the refractive index on the cemented surface located in the image-side group after the diaphragm is at least 0.12 smaller on this side than that of the diaphragm away from the opposite side.
For the same reason, it is advantageous in the group on the object side that the sum of the radii of curvature of the cavities of the two menisci closest to the converging lens element is greater than 1.10 F and less than 2.3. F to choose.
The quotient of the radius of curvature, the hollow further away from the diaphragm and that of the hollow of the menisci lying closest to the diaphragm is advantageously between 1.10 and 1.75.
Four exemplary embodiments are described below with the aid of the drawing. The radii, thicknesses and individual lenses in the group on the object side show the index with Roman numerals and in the group on the image side with Arabic numerals, in both cases increasing from the aperture.
The converging element on the object side, designated Mo, is composed of the three individual lenses Lr-LII and LIII, the convergent element designated Mb consists of the three individual lenses L, -L, -L ,. B1 identifies the aperture and l is the aperture space. If an adjustable aperture is not used,
the aperture space can become zero. In this case the two collecting links can be combined into a single link with a diaphragm incision.
The seven conditions result for. a} Il + ln = 0.756 F b) (dl + dll + dIII) + (dl + d2 + d3) = 1.24 F
EMI0002.0061
e) rIV = 0; 784 F f) ral = 0.397 F g) r2 = 0.422 F Furthermore:
EMI0002.0064
As a second exemplary embodiment, FIG. 2 shows an objective in which two meniscuses (Llv and Lv) are attached in the group on the object side and three meniscuses (L4-L. And L6) are attached in the group on the image side.
FIG. 3 shows an objective with three menisci (LIV-Lv and Lvl) in the group on the object side and two menisci (L4 and L5) in the group on the image side.
In FIG. 4, the two converging lens elements Mo and Mb are encompassed on both sides by three meniscuses each, which all face their hollowing toward the diaphragm.
The number. the menisci can be enlarged still further.
To further improve the correction, additional cemented surfaces can be added to the individual lens elements. If a layer of air which has an insignificant effect on the performance of the objective is inserted into one or the other lens element, the lens element subdivided in this way is to be considered as the only element within the meaning of the invention.
The following table of figures now shows the optical data for a lens with an aperture of 1: 2.5, an angle of view of around 90 and a focal length F = 100 mm.
