Wasserwaage
Fig. 2 eine perspektivische Ansicht des einen Libellenkörpers,
Fig. 3 einen Schnitt nach der Linie III III der Fig. 2,

Fig. 6 einen Schnitt nach der Linie VI-VI der Fig. 5,
Fig. 7 einen Schnitt nach der Linie VII-VII der Fig. 5,
Fig. 8 einen teilweisen Längsschnitt durch die Wasserwaage,
Spirit level
The subject matter of the present invention is a spirit level with at least one, expediently two, dragonflies each contained in a transparent plastic body.
The usual spirit levels include a wooden beam with a rectangular cross-section into which the dragonfly bodies are embedded. It has also been proposed to use a metal support, e.g. to use from Antikorodal, which has an I-shaped cross-section.
The spirit level according to the invention now has a polygonal hollow profile, expediently rectangular in cross section, in which the Libel body or bodies are mounted. The attachment of the Libbelienkörper takes place with advantage in such a way that they are detachable and adjustable. This makes it possible to adjust the individual lamp bodies and to be able to replace any damaged bodies.
Some exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawing. It shows:
1 shows a perspective view of a spirit level with the end cap lifted off,
Fig. 2 is a perspective view of a dragonfly body,
3 shows a section along line III III of FIG. 2,
Fig. 4 is a longitudinal section through a second Li bell body and the adjacent parts of the spirit level,
5 is a view of a magnet,
6 shows a section along the line VI-VI of FIG. 5,
7 shows a section along the line VII-VII of FIG. 5,
8 shows a partial longitudinal section through the spirit level,
9 shows a partial longitudinal section through a variant, and
10 shows a cross section through a modified embodiment of the vertical vial.
As can be seen from the perspective view according to FIG. 1, the spirit level shown comprises a support for the two vial bodies, which is formed by a light metal hollow profile 1 which is essentially rectangular in cross section. The latter is provided with reinforcing ribs 2 on its two broad sides so that the walls themselves can be kept relatively thin. In the embodiment shown, one narrow side 3 of the hollow profile 1 has a longitudinal groove 4 so that the spirit level can be more easily placed on a pipe or another round body. In addition, this channel facilitates the attachment and use of permanent magnets, which are to be discussed in greater detail. With spirit levels without magnets, the channel 4 can be omitted.
Both narrow sides Iso are then formed, like the upper narrow side 5 in FIG. 1.
In the illustrated embodiment, two vial bodies 6, 7 made of transparent plastic are detachably and adjustably inserted into the hollow profile 1.
The design of the dragonfly body in detail can e.g. in accordance with one or more of the Swiss patents 258 624, 292313 or 298 178. As FIGS. 2 and 3 show, the transparent plastic body 6 containing the vial hole is provided in the region of its corners with four holes 8 into which the screwdrivers 8 enter with play. At the inner ends of said holes threaded sleeves 10 are embedded, in which the also metal threaded inner ends of the ge called holes are threaded sleeves 10, in which the inner ends of the screws 9 also provided with metal threads enter. The holes can also be threaded themselves.
As a result of the above-mentioned play of the screws in the bores 8, the vial body can be adjusted. Should it be damaged during use, it is easily possible to remove and replace the vial body by simply loosening the screw 9.
The dragonfly body 7 is glued to a metal plate 12 (FIG. 4) which is provided with threaded bores at its ends protruding beyond the front ends of the dragonfly body 7. The corresponding thread of the fastening screw 11 engages in this thread, so that this vial body is also held in the hollow profile 1. The end of the screw 11 is advantageously conical in order to facilitate the introduction into the bores of the metal plate 12.
The formation of the magnets can be seen in FIGS. 5-7. Each of the two permanent magnets arranged in the hollow profile comprises a magnet body 13 and two pole plates 14. These parts are accommodated in a housing 15 made of plastic, which is provided with fastening tabs 16. Threaded bushings into which the fastening screws 22 screwed in from the underside of the spirit level enter are let into these tabs. It is also possible to fasten with self-tapping screws> y, which do not require a previously made thread. As can be seen from FIG. 6, the two pole plates are slightly beveled at their lower inner edges, so that the magnet also sits well on a pipe or the like.
In order to complete the hollow profile at the ends and at the same time protect the spirit level against impacts and impacts that occur when the same is dropped, the two ends of the hollow body are closed by caps 17 (Fig. 8) made of elastic material, which caps simply fit into the ends of the hollow body 1 are plugged in.
Instead of attaching the vertical vial 6 in the manner described, one could, as shown in FIG. 10, also proceed in such a way that the circular cylindrical vial body 23 made of transparent plastic is inserted into a bushing 24 of the appropriate diameter that penetrates the hollow profile 1 and is pressed into it . This type of attachment eliminates the need to use fastening screws.
The spirit level described has the advantage of being unbreakable and largely inviolable when in use. The assembly can be done quickly and easily. The dragonfly and the magnets are well protected and cannot be injured by blows. Nevertheless, they can be easily changed if necessary.
According to a variant shown in FIG. 9, the horizontal vial 7 and the bracket magnets can be held by an H-shaped carrier 20 which is pushed into the hollow profile 1 and clamped therein by pressure screws 21. A built-in pressure plate 22 made of metal or plastic prevents the leveling surface of the tubular profile from being pressed through. As can be seen, the same form of support can be used for both the spirit level and the magnets. The vial is glued to the carrier or screwed adjustable. The bracket magnet 25 can be pressed into the tubular profile or glued to the same.
