Safety circuit for controlling and monitoring the working movement or movement of presses, punches or similar machines controlled by pressure medium. The invention relates to a safety circuit for controlling and monitoring the working movement or movement.
-moving pressure medium-controlled, for example electro-pneumatic, electro-magnetic or in another equivalent manner via switches, contactors and relays controlled, if necessary with reload protection working presses, punching o. Like. Machines.
It is already known, presses that are controlled device for example with the help of an electro-pneumatic drive scarf, via switches, contacts and Re lais, z. B. by a preselectable time relay or the like, in the sense of tripping. And switching off the work movement to control, which has been extremely useful, since with the help of this control circuit that can be added to each machine at a later date, an already outdated machine can be fully used again can.
The present invention has now set itself the task of improving such a circuit in a particularly advantageous and expedient and effective manner by the means initiating, executing and terminating the circuit of the machine being inserted into a common circuit in such a way that when interrupted or Disturbance of the work movement triggering or a conductive switch-on contacts, or in the event of failure or faulty switching of only a single means inserted into the circuit, initiating, executing and terminating the switching device, the continuation and / or execution of the already initiated work movement or movements is prevented.
The means of initiating, executing and terminating the circuit of the machine can, for. B. Contactors, relays o. The like. And the interruption or disruption experienced work movements z. B. the decline of a press ram in a press.
This safety circuit can be used both in eccentric presses, friction screw presses or in all other press or punch types that occur, and has the advantage that it practically monitors itself, ie. i.e., if any circuit means, e.g. B.
If a relay or the like remains stuck once, i.e. does not switch, the circuit circuit that is inevitably to run through with every work movement is disrupted or interrupted, so that no further switching takes place from the failed relay and the machine, d. H. the already triggered or already initiated and started work movement is stopped directly, or switching on is not possible at all, so that no accidents to the operating personnel or machine damage are caused.
This self-monitoring u. Dependent community control thus represents a control that is built solely on security and consequently always switches to the safe side even in the event of malfunctions or the like.
If, for example, the make contacts of a known two-hand engagement are not pressed down long enough, i. H. if z. B. the operator of the machine still has to align something on the tool or workpiece, a malfunction already occurs in the circuit, where the result is an immediate termination of the work movement that has already started. The prevention of the continuation of the work movement can, for. B.
by effectively engaging a brake or the like. He follows, which thus holds the ram of the machine. This brake would be z. B. circuitry included in the common, dependent circuit run, and expediently in such a way that it is always switched on immediately when Störun conditions occur in the circuit and is immediately effective.
Another safety factor can consist in the fact that you do not continue the stopped work movement from the stop point reached, because then z. B. the impact force of the plunger would no longer suffice chen, but the plunger can always be returned to the upper rest or starting position, from which the new work stroke or the new work movement begins. This can apply in particular when using the circuit on friction screw presses.
The accompanying drawing shows two execution examples of the subject of the invention: Fig. 1 is a circuit diagram shown in principle of an eccentric press as a first example. Fig. 2 is a circuit diagram of a friction screw press, also in principle, as a second example.
In the first circuit diagram shown in Fig. 1, an eccentric press with two-hand engagement and sewing impact protection is to be switched. The press clutch is controlled in a known manner by a compressed air cylinder, the cylinder being actuated in a controlling manner by a solenoid valve 10.
Two manual pushbuttons 11 and 12 are used to move the clutch, while the two limit switches 13 and 14 are used to secure the reload. Three relays 15, 16 and 17 with their contacts are housed in the switch box. The relay coil 15 includes the contacts 18, 19 and 20, the relay coil 16 the contacts 21, 22 and 23, and the relay coil 17 the contacts 24, 25 and 26, the device is connected to the device 27 Netzzulei.
The mode of operation with an undisturbed, i.e. normal circuit function is as follows: When the device receives voltage from the power supply line 27 via the two contacts 13 and 14 of the limit switch, the relay coil 15 is switched on via the break contacts 11 and 12 of the manual pushbutton and contacts 21 and 24 switches. As a result, the associated contacts 18, 19 and 20 of the relay 15 are switched. The two normally closed contacts of the manual pushbuttons 11 and 12 are bridged by the contact 18.
The contact 19 now releases the path from the normally open contacts of the two manual pushbuttons 11 and 12 to the two relays 16 and 17. This makes it possible to switch on the relay coils 16 and 17 by pressing the two manual pushbuttons 11 and 12, where the contacts 21 and 24 then switch the relay 15 off. The contacts 22 and 25 bridge the contact 19 from the relay 15, and the contacts 23 and 26 turn on the solenoid valve 10 at the same time as the contact 20 that has now fallen off. This then engages the clutch of the press.
If one of the three relays 15, 16 or 17 sticks or does not switch on, the circuit works as follows: If, for example, the relay 15 sticks, the relays 16 and 17 can be switched on via the contact 19, but the contact 20 remains in the open position. If the relay 15 does not switch, it is possible to switch on the following relays 16 and 17, and the solenoid valve 10 because the contact 19 is open. So the press is not involved. The situation is similar with the other two relays l ö and 17. The contacts 13 and 14 of the two limit switches can also be locked in the same way.
The second circuit shown in Fig. 2 is a circuit diagram for the circuit of an electro-pneumatically controlled friction screw press with re-gripping protection and also an electro-pneumatically controlled brake. Here again the magnet valve designated 28 is used to switch on the companionway of the friction press, while the magnet valve 29 for The brake is released. The press is switched on using the two manual contacts 30 and 31.
An additional hand contact 32 is used to release the brake, while at the same time switching off the supply line to the control valve 28. The time. Switching relay <B> 33 </B> switches off the supply line to the control valve 28 via its break contact 34 after the time has elapsed and thus forms the impact strength regulation. The two limit switches 36 and 37 are switched by a curve 35 on the ram of the press, with the limit switch 36 being switched on in the uppermost ram position and the limit switch 37 in the lower ram position.
The mode of operation is then as follows: from the mains supply line 38 comes in the idle state of the Handkon contacts 30 and 31, the voltage via the contacts 39 and 40 of the two relays 41 and 42 to the relays 43 and 44, so that they attract and through their Kon clock 45 bridge the normally closed contacts of the two manual contacts 30 and 31. At the same time, the switching path to the relays 41 and 42 is closed by closing the contacts 46 and 47 of the two relays 43 and 44, but the path to the switch-on solenoid valve 28 is opened by opening the contacts 48 and 49 of the relays 43 and 44. The timer 33 is switched off by the relay 44 by opening the contact 50.
Switching on the press must now be initiated by the manual pushbuttons 30 and 31 via the idle contact of the upper limit switch 36, the two switch-on contacts 46 and 47 and the break contact 51 of the relay 52 by switching on the two relays 41 and 42.
The contacts 52 and 53 located on these two relays 41 and 42 bridge the two contacts 46 and 47 on the one hand, and the contact of limit switch 36 on the other hand, because the contacts 39 and 40 switch off the relays 43 and 44. As a result, the contacts 48 and 49 return to their rest position and give way to the solenoid valve 28, which now turns on by tightening the contacts 54 and 55 of the relay 41 and 42.
At the same time, the solenoid valve 29 also switches via contact 54, so that the brake is released. The plunger now moves downwards, but can also only let one of the two pushbuttons 30 or 31, causing the relays 41 and 42 drop, be caught at any point during its working stroke.
By switching off the relays 41 and 42 ', the corresponding contacts switch over, so that the solenoid valve 29 for the brake ventilation is switched off by opening the contact 54. The contact 55 simultaneously opens the feed line to the solenoid valve 28 for the control. A renewed activation of the Ar beitshubes or the companionway is no longer possible because the normally closed contact of the limit switch 36 has opened. The ram of the press must now be moved upwards by pressing the manual pushbutton 32, which switches on the solenoid valve 29 and thus the brake release. Only then can a renewed decline be initiated because the limit switch 36 has since closed the contact again.
Normally, the manual pushbuttons 30 and 31 must be held until the limit switch 37 is switched on, which in turn switches on the relay 52. The limit switch 37 is then bridged by the relay 52 through the contact 56. At the same time the con tact 54 is bridged by the contact 57, in conjunction with the con tact from the limit switch 36, whereby the brake release remains switched on for the run-up even without pressing the manual contacts 30 and 31. In the uppermost position, the brake release is switched off by switching off relay 52 via the contact from limit switch 36.
Failure to switch any of the relays inserted into the circuit, or sticking of a relay can never initiate an unintentional ram stroke, but blocks the entire system, as is demonstrated in the following example.
If the relay 33 is not switched on, the relay 52 is switched on by the limit switch 37, wel Ches by opening the contact 51, the Einaltre lais 41 and 42 and thus the solenoid valve 28 switches off. In this case, only the impact strength regulation is out of operation. If the relay 33 sticks, the contact 34 of this relay remains open and does not allow any voltage to flow to the solenoid valve 28.
Gluing the two Rais 43 and 44 keeps either the contact 48 or 49 open so that the solenoid valve 28 cannot be switched on here either. Failure to switch one of the two relays 43 or 44: leaves the contact 46 or 47, and thus the voltage supply to the switch-on relays 41 and 42, open so that they cannot be switched on. The locking is similar for the other relays.
As these cited examples show, all circuit means inserted into the circuit are connected in dependence on one another, whereby the safety brought about by the invention is first guaranteed. In addition, self-monitoring of the circuit is achieved in this way.
As already mentioned, the illustrated and described embodiments are only examples for the implementation of the invention and this is not limited to it, rather various other embodiments and applications are possible within the scope of the invention. This relates: in particular to the type of insertion of the switching means that are shift-coupled depending on one another.
