Device for crimping textile threads by false twisting There are devices for crimping Tex tilfäden by false twisting with rotating tubes mounted in tangential contact in the throat of two axially parallel rollers, one of the rollers being driven and the other running as a guide roller and the rotating tube by means of magnets to the Rollers are pressed.
With these devices, the highest possible rotary tube speed of up to 200,000 rpm and more should be achieved in order to increase the yarn feed speed and thus increase the production of the crimped yarn.
The present invention aims to improve such a device for crimping textile threads by false twisting with in tangential contact on rollers rotatable about their axes and pressed against the latter by means of magnets against the rotary tube and achieves this by having each rotary tube on one single drive roller is mounted and that at least three radially from the drive roller to the rotary tube we kende magnetic poles are provided, two of which are arranged on the rotary tube ends and at least one on the central part of the rotary tube.
Before geous two magnetic poles of the same name are arranged on the rotating tube ends and a pole of the same name on the middle part of the rotating tube. The drive roller can consist of a pair of parallel disks made of non-magnetic material connected to a hub, on the edge of which the rotary tube rests and in the space between which the magnetic pole acting on the central part of the rotary tube protrudes, while the magnetic poles acting on the rotary tube are opposite to each other facing away from the disc surfaces are arranged.
An embodiment of the device according to the invention has the advantage that, due to the use of a single roller, which is used simultaneously for the bearing and the drive of the rotating tube, the drive energy losses are eliminated, which when using a second roller serving as a guide roller that has to be set in rotation by the rotating tube , occur. It is therefore a much lower drive energy required with the new device than with the known Vorrich device or even higher rotary tube speeds can be achieved with the same drive energy.
In order to achieve the necessary adhesive forces between tween the drive roller and the rotating tube, the magnetic poles arranged at the rotating tube ends are expediently provided with pole pieces with mutually inclined pointed ends or with pole pieces whose opposite end surfaces are beveled.
The pole shoe tips are in the immediate vicinity of the ends of the part of the rotating tube made of magnetizable material, and the magnetic lines of force are concentrated at the transition points from the pole shoes to the rotating tube ends.
The rotating tubes can in the area extending over the three magnetic poles of magnetic cal material, preferably soft iron, and at one end a non-magnetic mate rial, z. B. chrome-nickel steel, existing, have the thread entrainment element containing part. It is also advantageous to provide the three magnetic poles or their pole pieces at their ends facing the rotating tube with a trapezoidal profile. The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows an elevation.
FIG. 2 shows a side elevation in the direction of arrow A in FIG.
Fig. 3 shows a side elevation in the direction of the arrow B seen in FIG.
Fig. 4 shows a floor plan. The device shown has a horizon tal support plate 1 with an opening through which a vertical drive shaft 2 is guided. A roller 3 is seated on the shaft 2 below the plate 1 and can be driven by means of a belt (not shown). Above the plate 1 sits on the drive shaft 2 to a roller consisting of two discs ben 4, 5 and a hub-shaped intermediate part 6, all consisting of one piece.
A rotating tube 7 made of soft iron is mounted in tangential contact on the edges of the disks 4, 5 parallel to their axis. It is under the influence of an E-shaped permanent magnet 8 attached to the plate 1, the E-plane of which is vertical and the legs 9, 10, 11 of which are horizontally extending in a vertical plane rotated by 90 relative to the E-plane their ends vertically abge angled pole pieces 12, 13, 14 are provided.
The magnet legs 9, 10 form poles of the same name and their pole shoes 12, 13 are located opposite the opposite end faces of the discs 4, 5, while the magnet leg 11 forms the pole of the opposite name, the pole shoe 14 of which extends into the space between the discs 4, 5 protrudes. The rotating tube 7 facing th by 90 laterally angled ends of the pole shoes 12, 13, 14 have, as can be seen from Fig, 4, a trapezoidal profile. There is an air gap of approximately 0.3 mm between these ends and the rotary tube 7.
The angled ends 12 'and 13' of the pole pieces 12, 13 are beveled on the sides facing away from each other. The rotary tube 7 has at one end a forked part 15 made of steel with a mandrel 16 made of hard material, eg. B. sapphire. The textile thread to be treated, not shown, is passed through the rotary tube 7 in the axial direction and is looped around the mandrel 16 with one turn.
The disks 4, 5 can also each be provided with a sleeve made of material with a high coefficient of friction, preferably a modified natural or synthetic rubber. In front of the middle part of the rotating tube, a double pole can also be arranged, consisting of two adjacent individual poles of the same polarity.
