Silo for bulk goods
A silo for bulk goods that can be moved into a flowable state, with an emptying channel with a ventilatable bottom, forms the subject of the present invention.
It is known to elongate silos for bulk goods such as flour, feed, grain, etc. that can be moved into a flowable state and to provide them with a channel-shaped and ventilatable channel in the area of the outlet in order to discharge the ensiled goods in a flowable state.
It is also known to cover such ventilated channels with roof-shaped inserts in such a way that the material from the silo flows into the channel from the side. In this way, the flow section is largely relieved compared to the goods above it, which are stored in the actual silo space.
It has also already become known to divide the silo floors located to the side of the channel and / or the inserts so that they can be ventilated field by field.
These known devices generally permit the controlled, bridging-free and encroachment-free discharge of the silo with good success. However, they have the disadvantages of a large outlay in terms of apparatus and construction and, very often, also inadequate ventilation in the area of the transition from the silo wall to the channel bottom. This results in poor flow properties of the ensiled material in these transition areas.
The aim of the present device is to eliminate the disadvantages of the known devices and to combine the newly achieved advantages with the advantages already known.
The invention relates to a silo for bulk goods that can be moved into a flowable state, with an emptying channel that is narrow compared to the silo cell above it, with a bottom that can be ventilated and an outlet in the middle of the channel. It is characterized by the combination of the following features: that the channel is inclined in such a way that the bulk material can only flow in the ventilated state, that the channel is evenly inclined from the area of the central outlet opening to the area of the most distant limits, so that the channel merges from the area of the uniform inclination through a curved transition into the area of the vertical walls so that the curved transition can be ventilated.
This has the advantage of a much more intensified ventilation in the area of the transition from the wall of the silo to the bottom of the channel.
In a further development of the invention, special inserts are provided in the channel to facilitate improvement of the flowability. The drawing shows the subject matter of the invention in sectional views in two exemplary embodiments.
FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section and FIG. 2 shows an associated cross section of the lowermost part of a silo including a discharge chute of the first embodiment.
3 shows a longitudinal section through the discharge chute of a second embodiment of a silo.
As can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, the silo walls 1, 2 and 3 and the inclined silo floor 5 enclose the lowest part of the silo. A discharge channel 10 is then provided. This discharge channel 10 has a central outlet 11 and is provided with porous floors 13 and 14. The channel 10 is bounded laterally by channel walls 18 and 19. The channel is fastened to the actual silo by means of fastening screws 20, sealed by seals 21. Ventilation chambers 23 and 24, which have ventilation connection cells 28 and 29, are provided under the porous floors 13 and 14. Rounded transitions 33 and 34 lead from the area of the essentially straight-lined porous floors 13 and 14 of the discharge chute 10 into the area of the silo walls 1 and 2.
These rounded transitions 33 and 34 are made of porous material (whose gas permeability can be the same or different from the porous floors 13, 14) and can therefore be ventilated from the ventilation chambers 23 and 24. The inclined silo floor 5 and possibly also the silo wall 3 are advantageously provided with a covering 7 along the discharge channel 10. It also proved to be advantageous to provide a small relief nose 16 on the silo wall 3 above the discharge chute 10.
This device has the significant advantage that, particularly in the rounded transitions 33 and 34 from the area of the porous floors 13 and 14 of the discharge chute 10 into the area of the silo walls 1 and 2, a strong accumulation of the fluidizing medium, i.e. H. of the in the silo cell respectively. gas blown into the discharge chute results.
But since it is precisely the transitions from the vertical silo walls into the inclinations of the porous discharge chute an increase in the friction of the silo material against the walls 1, 2 on the one hand and against the discharge chute on the other hand, and there, as is well known, the constant flowability and clean emptying in the area of these transitions with obtuse angles This new design has the advantage that the fluidization of the silo material starts first in the area of the rounded transitions 33, 34, and thus the fluidization of the material lying under considerable load on the inclined discharge chute bottom 13 and 14 later strongly supported.
The internal coefficient of friction in the edge zone of the bulk material when it enters the transitions 33, 34 is immediately reduced to a minimum and the bulk material pressure is thereby largely deflected towards the outlet opening. However, this happens continuously from the vertical walls 1, 2 to 13, 14 and not suddenly, as is known when 1, 2 and 13, 14 meet at an obtuse angle. Since the silage above the discharge chute is still viewed as a compact material at a certain height If I can, there is no risk of the fluidizing gas flowing out along the silo walls 1 and 2 and thus not leading to fluidization of the silo material.
As a result of the increased fluidization of the ensiled goods in the area of the rounded transitions 33 and 34, there is also a uniform lowering of the silo to the outlet 11. This special design of the discharge channel below storage cells, especially in the area of the silo walls, achieves the already known The advantage of the hygienic discharge of the silo well without mechanical means still has the advantage that the formation of central shafts and bridges is ruled out without great equipment expense and the material also sinks very evenly over the entire silo cell area.
In certain cases it can prove to be advantageous, parallel to the porous floors 13 and 14, respectively. inserts 41 and 42 are to be provided parallel to the silo walls 1 and 2 with approximately parallel tS transitions to the rounded tZ transitions 33 and 34, as shown in FIG. This results in a certain relief of the porous floors 13 and 14 and thus a somewhat more favorable fluidization of the silo material located above. Furthermore, a central spike 45 with or without inserts 41, 42 can be provided above the central outlet 11 in such a way that this central outlet 11 is at least partially relieved of the material ensiled above it.
Such inserts and gussets form very cheap, simple internals which, depending on the cell shape and size, influence both the fluidization of the material in the area of the discharge chute 10 and the lowering and flow of the material in a favorable manner.
It is obvious and within the scope of the inventive idea that the silo cell has a circular base area above the discharge chute, that the outlet 11 is arranged centrally and the porous floors 13, 14 merge into the silo wall as a circular funnel and rounded (33/34) - are designed to limit.
