Arrangement for controlling the drive motor of an electric vehicle When using automatic and semi-automatic controls for the starting and braking process of electric vehicles, it is important to know in which dependency the up or down switching rhythm is to be carried out.
In general, a time and current dependent control is chosen, i. H. there is an up or forward switching in a certain time per stage, which is specified by a servo motor or a pulse generator. This switching process is interrupted when a certain motor current (incremental current) is exceeded. The switching process is only released again by a current monitor when the current has dropped to a set value.
The setting of the stepping current is now preparing some difficulties in electric vehicles, since here weight changes of up to about 50 and different inclination conditions on the driving route require constantly changing tractive forces or currents. If the value is set in such a way that the fully occupied vehicle can still develop a certain tractive force on an incline, the same value for the empty vehicle on level ground and especially on inclines will be much too high, so that impermissible accelerations occur. If the incremental current is set too low, this will be achieved. Vehicle no longer accelerates the required acceleration on the incline.
The invention is based on the idea of interrupting the switching process not only when a certain motor current is exceeded, but the interruption should also take place when a certain acceleration is exceeded, even when the motor current z. B. is small on a slope. The invention relates to an arrangement for controlling the drive motor of an electric vehicle, with additional blocking of the automatic switching by means of a current monitor located in the circuit of the vehicle motor.
The invention consists in that an acceleration monitor is connected to the motor, the output of which is switched to an OR element together with the output of the current monitor, and the output of which acts on the blocking device for the automatic switching mechanism in such a way that the blocking is either up to Motor current or acceleration is too high.
The invention is explained in more detail using an embodiment example.
1 is the drive motor of the vehicle. Shunt 2 is switched on in the motor circuit. In the circuit there are also start-up resistors 7 with the short-circuiting contacts 7a, b, c, d, whose actuation is carried out by the automatic incremental switching 8 known design. The locking device 4 of a known type is connected upstream of the automatic switching.
Current monitor 3 is located parallel to shunt 2. It responds when a certain motor current is exceeded. In known Anordnun conditions this current monitor is connected directly to the locking device 4.
According to the invention, the acceleration monitor 5 is connected to the motor 1, with the interposition of the associated tachometer dynamo 5a.
The output of the current monitor 3 and the acceleration monitor Be 5 are connected to an OR element 6, the output of which is connected to the input of the locking device 4 for the automatic stepping mechanism 8. The OR element works in such a way that the blocking of 4 takes place either via the current monitor or via the acceleration monitor, depending on the output signal of these devices.
With normal approach z. B. a half-occupied vehicle on the plane, neither the motor current nor the vehicle acceleration will exceed impermissible values, so that neither the current monitor nor the acceleration monitor will respond. The switching rhythm of the automatic incremental switching is then only time-dependent (pulse generator or servomotor).
However, the switching process is interrupted when a work signal appears at the output of the current monitor (3) or the acceleration monitor (5), the current monitor responding primarily when driving uphill and the acceleration monitor when traveling downhill. The blocking of the automatic switching is only released when both guards are in the rest position again, i.e. H. if there is no more work signal at the OR gate (6). The shutdown of the starting resistors is dependent on the maximum permissible values of the motor current and vehicle acceleration.
The invention has the following advantages over the solutions known up to now: The combined action of current monitor and acceleration monitor enables the maximum possible values of current and acceleration to be used without the driver himself having to make any setting of these values got to. Complicated measuring and control devices for recording the respective values of vehicle weight and route inclination are also no longer required.
