Description
Rolling bearings for spinning. and twisting spindles The innovation relates to a roller bearing for high-speed spinning and twisting spindles rotating around vertical axes with a barrel encompassing the rolling elements and the guide cage.
The known bearings of this type consist of a massive outer race or a sleeve and laterally attached massive side rims, between which the rolling elements with or without a cage is inserted and guided. This necessarily executed with the highest precision, consisting of a large number of individual parts bearings are difficult to manufacture, therefore require high costs and be a cumbersome assembly.
In contrast, the innovation has a particularly economical Ausfüh approximately form in which the sleeve, cage and rolling elements form a unit that can be installed as a whole and in which the rolling elements are provided with flat end faces, the lower ones, to create favorable, noise-reducing starting conditions run against a hardened rim formed on the barrel sleeve and its upper edge against the end faces of the cage pockets of a comb cage. The comb cage is preferably made of plastic.
The length of the roller bodies is expediently dimensioned so that it is less than approximately three times its diameter. To prevent signs of wear and tear, the economically shaped sleeve of the new bearing is expediently provided with a recess at the transition point between the molded-on hardened rim and the outer track.
In the drawings, the invention is illustrated as an example. The figures show: FIG. 1 a longitudinal section through the mounting of a spinning spindle, FIG. 2 the rolling bearing installed in FIG. 1 on an enlarged scale.
In the spindle bearing housing the foot bearing 2 is pressed in at the bottom and the roller bearing 3 at the top for mounting the spindle 4. On the spindle 4, a drive part 5 is placed, which covers the bearing from above.
The roller bearing 3 shown in Fig. 2 in enlargement consists of the economically shaped outer sleeve 8, the comb cage made of plastic 9 and the rolling elements 10. The roller bearing is in the spindle bearing housing 1 is set from above,
that the hardened rim 12 provided with a flat inner surface 11 on the outer barrel sleeve 8 is at the bottom. At the transition point to the cylindrical raceway 13, the sleeve 8 is provided with a recess 14 so that the rolling elements 10 can run smoothly against the planar inner surface 11 of the rim 12.
The recess 14 can, for example, be embossed or knocked in when the sleeve is not closed and provides security that there is sufficient space between the rim and the running track for the smooth running of the flat end faces of the rolling elements on the rim after the run-up board has been turned into the vertical .
