Fig. 2 zeigt dieselbe Abstützung in einer Draufsicht.
Device for supporting the two housings of double-shell turbines The invention relates to a device for supporting the two housings of double-shell turbines on horizontal support surfaces of foundations located in planes close to the axis, which are located outside the welded outer housing.
It is known to carry out the support of the outer housing and the Innenge housing on a double-shell turbine, the outer housing of which is welded from sheet metal, so that the outer housing rests in a known manner in a plane close to the axis on the foundation and that its surfaces on which the inner housing rests, perpendicular to those surfaces with which the outer housing rests on the foundation, arranged and separated from them only by the wall thickness of the outer housing. With this arrangement of the support of the two housings it is achieved that the outer housing does not need to absorb any bending moments caused by the weight of the inner housing.
In this arrangement, the Abstützun gene of the inner housing rest directly on the supports of the outer housing. If the two housings expand to different degrees when heated, forces are transmitted between the two housings due to the frictional engagement between the contact surfaces. These forces can lead to both deformation and displacement of the housing. Such displacements can lead to major machine damage, especially on the inner housing because of the tight play between the fixed components and the rotating parts.
In a further development of this known support from the housing of double-jacket turbines, it is therefore proposed to store these two housings on the Fun dament so that there is neither a positive nor a frictional connection between them.
The invention consists in that the inner housing and the outer housing are mounted on adjacent contact surfaces of the foundation and that the openings on the outer housing, through which the support arms of the inner housing protrude, are sealed by membrane closures, so that a mutual influence in the event of different thermal expansion of the two Housing is avoided.
Since the closures provided for sealing are easily deformable, the transmission of forces between the two housings is largely prevented. Deformations and changes in position and their harmful effects are therefore avoided by the proposed arrangement.
In the figures of the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the support according to the invention is shown schematically.
In Fig. 1 the support is shown in a view normal to the axis. Fig. 2 shows the same support in a plan view.
On the circumference of the inner housing 11 of the double jacket turbine, the support arms 13 are screwed to the brackets 12. The dead weight of the inner housing and the reaction torque acting on it are transmitted to the foundation 31 located outside the welded outer housing 21 via these support arms. The bearing surfaces of the support arms 13 of the inner housing and the supports 23 of the outer housing are located approximately at the level of the turbine axis. There is no connection whatsoever between the supports of the two housings because they are arranged next to one another.
This separation of the supports avoids a mutual influence with different thermal expansion of the two housings. Both housings rest on the bearing blocks 32 attached to the foundation 31. With the aid of the fitting plates 33, the height of the inner housing is aligned. The membrane closures 41 flanged to the support arms of the inner housing 13 and the outer housing 21 serve to seal the openings 51 on the outer housing.
