Der Waschgang beträgt also in diesem Falle 60 Minuten.
Washing machine In washing machines that are equipped with a drum washing machine, it is known to let the drum run during the total washing time determined by the program control device. If the heating power is lower, however, this time is too long because an excessive mechanical effect on the wash then results. However, it is not enough to put the drum on for a shorter time at the end of the wash cycle. On the one hand, it must be ensured that the drum is moved for a short time immediately after the water has been poured in so that the detergent that has been washed in is well dissolved. On the other hand, the stabilized oxygen in the detergent is slowly released.
It would be ineffective if the laundry were not moved from time to time.
The invention relates to a washing machine whose program control device sen has a manually adjustable controller to change the total washing time in which the laundry mover (z. B. the drum) is driven by the motor and / or the electric heater of the Lau gene container is switched on. According to the invention, the automatic has an additional, manually adjustable regulator with which the switch-on time of one of the power consumers of the washing machine, in particular the laundry mover motor, can be changed in relation to the entire switch-on time set in the program control device. In this way you now have a possibility, for.
B. to switch on the washing motor during the total washing time for shorter Zeitab sections so that it does not cooperate during the entire heating time, but on the other hand can also be brought into effect in the periods in which it is particularly important to move the items mechanically. The new arrangement can be designed in such a way that the switch-on times of the laundry mover motor of the same length among each other, which alternate with equally long pauses, are distributed over the entire washing time. In this way, you have the guarantee that mechanical effects on the laundry will occur again and again during the entire washing time.
However, an arrangement is also possible in which switching-on times of the washing motor that are unevenly distributed over the entire washing time are switched on.
You can run the additional, manually adjustable controller independently of the also manually adjustable program control device of the washing machine. Another, particularly advantageous embodiment is obtained by combining the additional controller for changing the switch-on time of the laundry mover motor with the controller for changing the total washing time, so that both controllers are set by the same handle.
It is particularly advantageous if, in such a combination, the two controllers are coupled in such a way that when the duration of the total washing time is increased, the switch-on times of the laundry mover motor are shortened with the interposition of pauses and vice versa. With such a type of controller coupling, it is then easy to achieve that the washing motor always has the same switch-on time over the entire washing time specified by the program control device, regardless of the length of this time.
It is thus possible, with each wash cycle, to make the mechanical effect on the items to be washed through the operation of the laundry mover motor as a result of the equally long switch-on time. The automatic system can of course also be designed in such a way that with total washing times set for different lengths of time, the laundry mover motor is switched on for different lengths of time, but shorter overall, so that the mechanical effect on the items to be washed, for example the degree of soiling of the laundry , can be customized. The switch-on times of the washing motor can be set in various ways with the new facility.
One can use electrical or mechanical means for this purpose, for example. An electrical switching device for determining the switch-on time of the washing motor can preferably consist in placing a heatable bimetal relay in the circuit of the washing motor contactor, in the heating circuit of which there is a resistance that can be changed by the additional, manually operated controller, preferably a rotary resistance.
The combination of such an electrical controller with the program control device can be done, for example, in that the manually adjustable time setting element for changing the total washing time has a control resistor (preferably a rotary resistor) in the motor circuit of the program control device and, in the opposite direction, the control resistor in the heating circuit of the bimetal relay changed.
By changing the two control resistances in opposite directions, the desired distribution of the switch-on times of the washing motor over the entire washing time can be set in such a way that when the duration of the total washing time is increased, the on-time of the washing motor is shortened using intervening pauses and vice versa.
Instead of the two control resistors just described, you can also use a single control resistor adjusted by the time control element to change the total washing time, which is switched as a potentiometer so that when its controllable tap is adjusted, the current for the motor of the program control device increases and at the same time the heating current for the bimetal relay is reduced and vice versa. In sol chen electrical devices for determining the switch-on time of the washing motor, the switch-on time of the washing motor can be made the same length by suitable design of the control resistors, regardless of whether the total washing time is selected longer or shorter.
In the case of mechanical regulation of the total washing time by a suitably designed drive of the program control roller, this mechanical regulator can be coupled to a control resistor in the electrical circuit of the heating of the above-mentioned bimetal relay. Another possibility is as follows: The bimetal relay of the motor contactor can have constant heating and its switching point is regulated by changing the mechanical bias voltage, which is actuated depending on the electrical or mechanical actuator used to change the total washing time.
If you have a program control device in which the duration of the total washing time is determined by the coupling of the drive shaft with the shaft of the program disks comprising a more or less large, manually adjustable angle of rotation, this device can also be used in a particularly simple way at the same time to switch the washing motor on and off periodically during the total washing time. For this purpose, the shaft of the program disks is advantageously connected via a slip clutch to a switching contact that keeps the circuit of the washing motor closed as long as the program disk shaft rotates.
This switching contact is expediently assigned a return spring and a stop limiting the return movement.
In the figures, Ausführungsbei are shown schematically games of the invention. Fig. 1 shows the circuit diagram of a washing machine, as far as it is necessary to understand the invention. The network is designated by Ph and <I> N </I>. The washing motor contactor A can be connected to voltage via switch S on the program control unit. The contacts a of this wash motor contactor are assigned to the wash motor Ma. They are shown in the rest position in the circuit diagram.
The bimetal relay <I> Bi </I> with its heating winding <I> H. </I> is located in the circuit of the washing motor contactor. This heating winding is assigned the control resistor P2, while the control resistor P, as a series resistor of the drive motor MP for the program control device is used.
The two variable resistors P, _ and P2 are coupled by a common timing control element R, which controls the total wash time via P and the heating current of the bimetal relay via P2.
When the timing control element R is pushed down into the end position, a low current is set for the motor MP, since P1 is fully switched on. The result is then a slow running of the motor MP and a longer overall wash cycle (e.g. 60 min.), And since in this position of R the resistor P2 in the heating circuit of the bimetal relay is completely switched off, strong heating occurs in each case quick shutdown of the washing motor.
In Fig. 2a this process is shown as a function of time. In this case, the wash cycle is 60 minutes. During this time, the bimetal relay <I> Bi </I> is heated up by the strong heating current from temperature t1 to temperature t2 (switch-off temperature). The circuit is designed so that when the bimetal relay <I> Bi </I> is switched off, the contactor <I> A </I> and also the bimetal heater H are also switched off.
The drum run is accordingly intermittent. The more you change the double rotation resistance P ,, P2 in the direction of the other extreme (movement from R upwards in Fig. 1), the shorter the total wash cycle and the longer the respective heating times of the bimetal relay. In percentage terms, the running time of the drum becomes longer and longer than the overall wash cycle until the switching cycle shown in FIG. 2b is finally reached.
Here, the entire wash cycle ends when the bimetallic relay <I> Bi </I> has just switched off. Instead of two rotary resistors P1, P2, which are on one axis, two linear sliding walls can also be used in the practical version.
With a suitable design of the components it is also possible to get along with a single potentiometer. One then has a circuit as indicated in FIG. Insofar as the individual parts here correspond to those in FIG. 1, the same reference numerals are used. In this case, the motor Mp is at one end of the potentiometer resistor P, the heating <I> H </I> of the bimetallic relay <I> Bi </I> is at the other end and the lead that comes from Ph goes in in this case to the sliding contact R.
The invention can also be used in conjunction with such program control devices in which the duration of the total washing time is determined by manually setting a more or less large angle of rotation in which the drive shaft is coupled to the shaft of the program disks. An exemplary embodiment of such a program control device is shown schematically in FIGS. 4 and 5. FIG. 4 shows a perspective image and FIG. 5 shows a representation in section for this program control device. The control unit is driven by a motor 1 with a transmission via a drive shaft 2.
Between tween this drive shaft 2 and the driven shaft 3 of the program disks 4 is a manually adjustable face, the respective desired total washing time determin Mende coupling is provided. This coupling includes a disk 5 to which a tow pawl 7 with an outer wheel 8 is attached at the pivot 6. With the tow pawl, a gear 9 works together men, which is rigidly connected to the driven shaft 3. Through the manually adjustable angle of rotation a, within which the coupling between the shafts 2 and 3 takes place by the tow pawl 7, the duration of the entire washing time of the program control device can be determined. If this angle of rotation is small, the progression of the program discs 4 takes place in small switching steps with one revolution of the shaft 2.
If the angle a is large, this progression takes place in correspondingly larger switching steps. A rotatable shell 10, which can be rotated more or less relative to the stationary shell 11, is used to set the coupling angle. The largest angle α is set in the limit position setting 12 shown in phantom. This angle can be reduced by turning the shell 10 clockwise. The time coupling of the pawl 7 from the gear 9 takes place in that the wheel 8 hits the run-up edge 13 of the stationary shell 11 and thereby lifts the nose 14 of the drag pawl off the gear 9.
Between the gear wheel 9 and the program disks 4 of the program control unit, a reduction gear 15 is also provided, which ensures a corresponding reduction in the switching angle a, so that, for example, advancing angles of the program disks 4 are of the order of 1 to 3 degrees. On the shaft 3 a Rutschkupp treatment 16 is arranged, which cooperates with the movable switch contact 17 of a switch whose fixed switch contact is denoted by 18. When the contacts 17, 18 close, the washing motor is switched on. These contacts 17, 18 are closed as long as the program disk shaft rotates. With a return spring of the contact 17 is designated.
This spring ensures that the switch 17, 18 opens as soon as the shaft comes to a standstill. The con tact 17 is then drawn against the fixed stop 20 by the spring. If a small coupling angle a is set with the help of the rotatable shell 10, which is equivalent to the fact that the program disks 4 rotate more slowly in the sense of an extension of the total washing time, the contacts 17, 18 close each time with one rotation of the shaft 2 briefly, so that in this case there is a large number of short switch-on times of the washing motor.
If, on the other hand, a large coupling angle a is set with the help of the rotatable shell, which is synonymous with the fact that the program disks 4 are driven in the sense of a shortening of the washing time, a correspondingly smaller number of switch-ons of the washing motor results within the total washing time, these switch-on times taken in and of themselves are longer than when a small angle α has been set.
