Dynamo-electric machine The invention relates to a dynamo-electric machine and is of particular importance for large turbo alternators. The invention is an addition to the invention that is identified below as the main invention according to Swiss patent specification no. 328218 .
According to the main invention, a dynamoelectric machine provided with a stator and a wound rotor for cooling the Läu winding in the winding conductors formed longitudinal channels and leading to the said channels entry slots, which are provided in the exposed winding heads together with axially arranged auxiliary grooves in the core and can be fed with cooling gas at both ends of the core, as well as radially arranged slots between the auxiliary grooves and said conductor channels and finally exit slots between the conductor channels and the circumference of the rotor.
According to the invention, a plurality of longitudinal channels arranged side by side in the circumferential direction of the rotor are provided in each conductor of the Läu in the part that lies in the winding groove, which inlet openings and radially arranged outlet openings are assigned.
In carrying out the invention, the radially arranged inlet and outlet openings can be connected to all longitudinal channels lying in the same vertical alignment in the groove.
The various inlet and outlet openings connected to a longitudinal channel of a conductor are preferably offset in the longitudinal direction of the conductor with respect to the openings of an adjacent channel of the conductor.
In a preferred embodiment, two longitudinal channels are provided in each conductor and in the end turn part of the winding. These two channels are open to opposite side faces of the conductor via axially arranged openings.
For a better understanding of the invention, reference should be made to the accompanying drawing, the single figure of which shows an embodiment of the invention in perspective.
According to the drawing, part of a rotor core 1 of a turbo alternator is seen with a groove that is closed with a retaining wedge 2. The groove is delimited by teeth 3 of the core and contains a coil 4 which has a number of superposed conductors separated from one another by insulation. In the arrangement shown, each conductor has an upper part 5 which rests on a lower part 6 .
The upper parts 5 are provided with two parallel grooves along their underside, while the lower parts 6 have corresponding grooves in their upper side, so that when the parts are placed one above the other, the grooves together correspond and form two longitudinal channels 7 and 7 '.
Two separate systems are provided for supplying cooling gas to the longitudinal channels 7 and 7 '. One system includes the end turns 8 of the coils and can comprise a part of the coil arranged at the ends of the core, that is to say its winding head. The other system extends over the part of the coil embedded in the middle part of the rotor core.
The cooling gas for the middle part of the rotor core is supplied through the auxiliary groove 11, which is arranged below the main winding grooves and with the longitudinal channels 7 and 71 > is in communication via radial openings 10 , which extend between the auxiliary groove 11 and all longitudinal channels 7 , and via radial openings 10 ', which extend between the auxiliary groove 11 and all longitudinal channels 71 . In order to allow the cooling gas to escape from the longitudinal ducts, the longitudinal ducts 7 have outlet openings 15 and the longitudinal ducts 7 ' with outlet openings 151 .
These Ausittsöff openings extend to the periphery of the rotor. The inlet and outlet openings, which are connected to the longitudinal channels 7 , are in relation to the inlet and outlet openings, which are connected to the longitudinal channels 7 ' Offset in the longitudinal direction of the conductor. In the arrangement shown, each inlet opening 10. for a channel 7 in the vicinity of an outlet opening 15 ' for a longitudinal channel 7' and each outlet opening 15 for a longitudinal channel 7 in the vicinity of an inlet opening 10 ' for a longitudinal channel 7' < / B> arranged.
The longitudinal channels 7 in the winding head of the coil are charged with cooling gas via axially arranged openings 9 in the radially inner surface of the coil. The longitudinal channels 7 ' in the winding head of the coil are also charged with cooling gas via axially arranged inlet openings 91 in the radially outer surface of the coil. The openings 9 and 9 ' are related to one another in such a way that in a given cross section, successive conductors are connected to inlet openings on alternately opposite sides of the coil.
The outlet openings for the cooling gas supplied via the inlet openings 9 and 9 'consist of radially arranged openings 12 and 12' which are provided near the end of the rotor core and axially against one another are offset. In order to isolate the cooling system for the end turns from the cooling system for the middle part of the coil, there are barriers 13 in the channels 7 near the outlet opening 12 and in the channels 7 ' in the vicinity of the outlet opening 12' locks 13 ' provided.
The locks 13 and 13 ' can expediently consist of insulating blocks that extend across the channel; however, they can also consist of conductive material and, for example, the material of the conductor itself formed by interrupting the channel over a short distance.
In the arrangement shown, the gas coming from the end turns exits through a single outlet opening 12 on the rotor periphery, but of course two or more such openings can of course also be provided.
By creating two or more parallel longitudinal channels in each conductor, the total passage cross-section is increased for a given mechanical strength. In addition, by offsetting the inlet and outlet openings connected to the conductors in the longitudinal direction of the rotor, the temperature changes along the conductor are reduced. Furthermore, the inlet openings 9 and 91 can have a larger cross section in the end sections of the windings than in the core, so that the effect of the gas flow resistance of the long channel of the end windings is reduced.
If necessary, the inlet openings 10 and 10 ' and the outlet openings 15 and 151 can be stepped in cross-section such that a desired gas flow distribution is obtained.
