Slide rod for the clip lock on switches To transfer the changeover force from the drive motor or the angle lever of a wire or rod line to the pair of tongues of a switch, only slide rods are used for clip locks that are shaped in such a way that the necessary interaction between clips and locking boxes with them is realized.
In the case of non-insulated points, one-piece slide rods have been installed that were punched as whole pieces in the die or formed from two half pieces forged in the Ge by welding together.
In the case of insulated switches, insulating push rods are required; such slide rods as sen so far on a current-tight joint that was formed ge with the help of insulating films, tabs and screws. The sections of insulating slide rods were obtained by cutting up current-conducting rods, thermoformed at the interface and machined according to the joint construction.
Neither the insulating nor the conductive slide rod could be changed in length. However, this property would be very desirable in order to always be able to build in the sliding rods without an upsetting or stretching process. Inaccuracies when laying the switches, non-compliance with the manufacturing tolerances on individual switch parts and other unavoidable irregularities always lead to operations that are difficult and imprecise on the construction site.
The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate all of these installation difficulties. It is characterized by a subdivision into two halves and a coupling sleeve designed for connecting the adjustment drive to be screwed to these. Further details emerge from the following explanation of the drawings, the drawing showing an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention.
The slide rod shown is composed of two half-pieces 1, 1 ', for which the coupling sleeve 2 with the connecting lug 3 for the adjustment drive forms the connecting link. In this coupling sleeve threaded sockets 4 are screwed, which have a hexagonal head 4 'and a collar flange 4' '. In the threaded sockets 4 provided with Innenge the thread ends of the half-pieces 1 and 1 'are screwed to a depth corresponding to the desired total length of the slide rod. Lock nuts 5 secure the half-pieces in their screw-in position. For fine adjustment or readjustment of the length, bow-shaped shims 6 can be inserted between the collar flanges and the associated end faces of the coupling sleeve.
Depending on the choice of material for the threaded bushings, which are preferably cup-shaped with insulating slide rods, conductive and insulating slide bars can be produced with the same components that can be adjusted to any desired length with millimeter precision.
It should also be mentioned that coupling rods can be built in the same way, which are used to connect the sliding rods with double crossing switches.
