Description

Safety device for the start-up of a reducing station built into the condenser of steam power plants The invention relates to a safety device for starting up a reducing station built into the condenser of steam power plants, which is fed to excess steam according to the load on the engine via reducing valves and which - cooled in the station - in the Condenser is introduced, whereby the reducing valves are opened or closed depending on the pressure of the injection cooling water.

   getting closed.

Reducing stations are already known that can only open when a certain injection water pressure is present downstream of the injection water valve. This has the disadvantage that u. Excess steam may already exist, but it cannot be fed into the reducing station because the pressure of the injection water is not yet available. The steam would be blown into the open and thus be lost to the circuit within the turbine system. To avoid this disadvantage, be the invention aims.

The invention consists in that the opening of the reducing valves takes place for a short time independently of the current pressure of the cooling water via a time relay which is connected between the pressure monitor and the reducing valves and briefly deactivates the operation of the pressure monitor. The timing relay itself can advantageously be switched electrically or also pneumatically or hydraulically.

The advantage of the invention is that the reducing valves first open, regardless of whether the required injection water pressure is already present. This is achieved by the time relay, which essentially removes the impulses from the pressure switch for a certain period of time. If, after this time, the injection water pressure has not yet risen to the required level, the impulses from the pressure switch to the magnet slide for controlling the reducing valves are fully effective, so that these are closed.

This protects the condenser to the extent that uncooled superheated steam cannot be fed into it for a longer period of time.

In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment is shown schematically according to the invention.

In a capacitor 16, which can be designed as a mixing capacitor or as a surface capacitor, the reducing station 17 is installed. This reducing station is supplied via the lines 18 and 19 excess steam, which can be shut off by the reducing valves 11 and 12. The condensate from the condenser is fed in the usual way via a condensate pump 20 and a flow regulator 21 to the feed water circuit of the steam power plant.

To operate the reducing valves, according to the invention, a time relay 13 is connected between these and the injection water valve 14, which briefly cancels the operation of the pressure switch 15 for the reducing valves. To operate the reducing valves, the servomotors 22 and 23 are provided, which are operated depending on the time relay via a magnetic slide.

The object of the invention is of particular importance in its application for steam power plants that draw their steam from the heat exchanger of a reactor.
