The present invention relates to an improvement provided to the rotating electric machine with axial air gap defined in the patent claim. main, which comprises an annular stator and an annular rotor separated by a substantially planar air gap, one of these elements, stator and rotor, comprising at least one multipolar inductor and the other element carrying windings each formed of thin and flat conductors adhering intimately opposite sides of an insulating support interposed between the two layers formed by these conductors,
and is characterized in that this winding carrier element comprises at least two annular windings mounted coaxially to the axis of rotation of the machine and carried by a single rigid ring, at least the surface of which is insulating .
In such a machine comprising coils concentric on its rotor, it is possible not only to establish these coils for distinct functions, but also with different numbers of poles ; in particular, the concentric coil ex interior can then have a higher number of poles than the inner winding, which is of particular interest for the establishment of motor generating machines, in which one collects, to from the winding to high number of poles, a current of frequency much higher than that of the current that would be collected from the inner winding to smaller number of poles.
The machine according to the present invention comprises a pair of windings whose flat conductors are distributed, in each winding, in two sets of last coils interconnected from one side to the other of the support. insulating, these windings being arranged concentrically in the same plane and forming part of the rotor of the machine, and is characterized in that conductive plugs, also formed by flat conductors arranged on the same insulating support, extend some of the conductors of the inner winding to supply the outer winding with currents taken from said inner winding.
These taps and the outer winding can be established of such that the latter is formed of several loops separately supplied to from of the winding interior, from where in fact an alternating current supply of this external winding while the internal winding can be supplied direct, the machine thus constituting a switch whose alternating current is of a frequency which can be a multiple of that which would be obtained with a machine in which the two coils are axially contiguous, as described in the main patent.
An embodiment of the invention will be described below, as by way of example, in relation to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 is a cross-sectional elevation view, strongly schematized, of a machine with axial airgap; fig. 2 is a front view of the two rotor windings of this machine, and FIG. 3 is a partial view of the other side of these two windings.
In this machine, the rotor comprises, on an annular dielectric support plate 10, two windings 43, inner, and 113, outer. With the inner winding 43 cooperating on one side, a crown of poles of permanent magnets such as 48 mounted on a magnetic ring forming the yoke 46 and having pole shoes such as 47 radially covering the width. winding 43 and, on the other side, a magnetic ring forming the yoke 44.
With the outer winding 113 cooperate two ferrite rings 138 and 45, and on the ring 138, facing the rotor winding < B> 113, a fixed annular coil 203 in which an electromotive force will be induced during the rotation of the winding 113. This schematic view is sufficient to understand the description which follows, because the stator parts of the machine do not present particularities compared to to those which have been described in the main patent. With the internal winding 43 are associated brushes such as that indicated at 41. The mounting plates of the stator elements are indicated at 4 and 5, respectively.
The inner part of the machine is a direct current motor. Its winding is that indicated in the center of fig. 2 and 3 and is, for example, of the corrugated-series type, to forty-one turns and eight poles.
In other words, and briefly recalled here, this winding is established on both sides of an insulating support and comprises, on each side, forty-one conductors printed or otherwise formed, flat and adhering firmly to the dielectric support 10, the configuration of the conductors being inverted of one face to the other so that, by interconnections to -through the insulating support, the formation of the turns can be directly carried out ; preferably, the interconnections are made by metallization of perforations made in the insulation and in the ends of the conductors. ; rivets can also be used, as is known.
The outer winding 113 is a three phase winding with one conductor by pole and by phase. It is shown with eighty-four conductors in all, therefore forty-two conductors per face. It has twenty-eight poles and it is, in fact, connected in a star thanks to to </ B > the metallization indicated in 300 in fig. 3 and which combines the outputs 301, 302 and 303 of the three phases.
Each phase has an entry, fig. 2, and these three inputs 401, 402 and 403 are formed by metallizations of the insulation -connecting the corresponding conductors of the winding to alternating current to three sockets extending conductors of the internal winding to direct current, arranged to 1201, electric from each other with respect to the polar pitch of this winding. To clearly distinguish the conductors of the three phases, they are numbered 1, 2 and 3 in fig. 2 and a full phase loop can be followed in this figure around the ring of the coil. The polar pitch corresponds to the place occupied by 1,5 conductor on one of the faces.
Such an arrangement is especially advantageous from the point of view of the nesting of the phases in a polyphase coil because, naturally, one could foresee for the external coil any number of phases other than three. It is to to underline that at the entry and exit locations of the phases, the interconnection > passages are omitted during the formation of the outer winding whereas they are carried out everywhere else for the normal production of the turns of this outer winding.
Of course, the numbers of the conductors of the coils shown will often, in practice, be greater than than those indicated above. Indeed, and to for illustrative purposes, with a now common photoengraving fineness, the outer winding can easily be produced with 120 conductors per face, i.e. therefore with 120 poles, for a rotor disc of average diameter of 115 mm. The increase in the number of conductors of the DC winding to will be carried out above all to sharpen its tendency and, moreover, it will often be advantageous to to reduce the number of poles.
The induced stator winding 203 can, if desired, be strictly identical to the winding 113 described ; it can however, if desired, be made in a Greek arranged on only one face of its insulating support, or give it numbers of conductors and phases different from those of the winding to alternating current of the rotor.
