Film threading device The invention relates to a film threading device. device, especially for motion picture cameras, with two pivotably mounted guideways that are used to insert the film into the empty film reel.
The object of the invention is. To further improve the known Filmeinfädelvoxrichtungen and to provide a device that allows a proper introduction of the film in the provided with a slot hub of the film take-up reel. Particular importance is attached to the correct guidance of the film, even if the end of the film is severely kinked.
The solution to this problem is, according to the invention, that the two guide tracks can be pivoted independently of one another and are under the influence of a control which swivels the guide tracks between the flanges of the film reel in order to carry out the film threading that one of the guide tracks rests against the hub and a stop of this track can engage in a film insertion slot in the hub in order to bring the film reel, which is only driven with friction, to a standstill.
The device designed in this way works safely and reliably, is simple and cheap to manufacture and can be easily built into the camera.
In an advantageous further development of the invention, it is recommended to use a shoulder flank of the one guideway as a stop. use, which is created by adding a second guide track part. An axle sleeve, c of the film reel can have toothed wheels lying opposite the film perforations, so that the beginning of the film cannot slip out of the hub's Schilitz.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment is shown in a simplified schematic form, namely: FIG. 1 shows the film threading device, in the starting position, FIG. 2 the application of a guide track to the hub of the film take-up spool, FIG > 3 the engagement of the guideway in the hub slot,
4 shows the hub of the film take-up reel according to FIG. 3 in an enlarged view when the beginning of the film is inserted, and FIG. 5 shows the beginning of the film take-up. In the figures, 1 dir, film supply reel on which the film 2 is wound up, and 3 denotes the empty film take-up reel.
A guide roller 4, which is rotatably arranged in the camera housing, ensures that the film is deflected in such a way that it is between the film pressure plate. 5 -and the film guide 6 is guided past the exposure window. The.
The window itself, the optical system, shutter and screen devices, the gripper used to advance the feed and its drive are known per se and have been omitted from the drawing for the sake of clarity.
The film threading device according to the invention consists of the two guide tracks 7 and 8 , which are controlled by a cam 9 , and of guide plates firmly connected to the camera housing 10. The guide taps 7 and 8 are pivotably mounted on axes 11 and 12, but they can also both open be stored together on an axis.
Springs (not shown) press the guide tracks against the control cam 9 or against the hub 13 of the fiber reel spool. At the free end of the guide path 8 , a further guide path part 14 is attached, so that a shoulder flank 15 is created which enters the film insertion slot 16 of the Hub 13 of the film take-up reel 3 can engage.
Inside the hub 13 a sleeve 17 can be provided with jagged protrusions 18 which penetrate the film perforations. intervene and prevent the film from slipping out of the insertion slot 16 . The guide track 7 ensures that the film is correctly guided, even if the end of the film is severely kinked is.
The mode of operation of the film threading device according to the invention is as follows: By turning the control cam 9 in a clockwise direction, the guide tracks 7 and 8 under spring pressure are set pivoted between the flanges of the filin spool 3 so that the guide track 8 comes to rest against the hub, the spool.
When the camera gear is switched on, the film starts to move through the non-drawn gripper that penetrates the film's perforations.
As a result, the beginning of the film occurs between the two guide tracks 7 and 8. In the meantime, the film spool 3 has also become as a result of their frictional. The drive is rotated in the direction of the arrow 19 so that the shoulder 15 of the guideway 8 into the slot 16 - springs and _the bobbin is stopped.
The Greifex conveyance of the film continues, so that the beginning of the film can penetrate into the slot 16 . By pushing the beginning of the film against the inner surface of the hub (FIG. 4), the film 2 rises up, so that the risen foot exerts a downward force on the guide track 8, which the shoulder 15 pushes out of the slot 16 .
This releases the revolving movement of the spool 3 , and the film that is formed pushes the guideways 7 and 8 from the </ B> coil out. Once the film has been wound up, the full spool is withdrawn from its axis so that the guide tracks spring back on the cam 9 , which is then rotated to move the tracks into the position shown in FIG 1 to return the starting position shown. Now an empty bobbin can be placed on the axle again and a new threading process can take place.
