Fig. 1 zeigt ein Getriebe mit Axialkolbenaggrega- ten und Leistungsverzweigung im Schnitt, wobei ein nicht abkuppelbarer Motor und ein abkuppelbarer Motor mit seiner Kupplung konzentrisch zur Ab triebswelle angeordnet sind und direkt auf diese wir ken ; Fig. 2 zeigt einen Schnitt längs der Linie I-I in Fig. 1 ; Fig. 3 zeigt ein Getriebe, ähnlich dem gemäss Fig. 1, bei dem jedoch der abkuppelbare Motor über eine Zahnraduntersetzung auf die Abtriebswelle wirkt und im übrigen koaxial zur Pumpe angeordnet ist; Fig. 4 zeigt schematisch ein Getriebe, ähnlich dem gemäss Fig. 1, bei dem jedoch zwischen dem abkuppelbaren Motor und der Kupplung zur Ab triebswelle hin ein zusätzliches Planeten-Unterset zungsgetriebe angeordnet ist ;

So, zeigt z.
An jeder Kulisse<B>52</B> bzw.

Dadurch ergibt sich allgemein für: <I>"In-,</I> # <B>1<I>-</I></B> n,.-,In4 und n11n, nl < n.,In., nll.-,In.,.
EMI0005.0001
n15/n4 <SEP> = <SEP> 0,0625 <SEP> 0,0000 <SEP> -0,0625
<tb> -0,1000 <SEP> -0,2000 <SEP> -0,2500
<tb> h1/hmax <SEP> = <SEP> 0,333 <SEP> 0,0000 <SEP> -0,2941

Infinitely variable fluid transmission, especially for heavy vehicles The invention relates to continuously adjustable fluid transmission such. B. hydrostatic Ge transmissions, as they are used especially for heavy vehicles with a large gear reduction range.
Transmissions for such vehicles must allow gear ratios that are between 1: 1 (or one gear ratio) and 1: 16 (for railcars), 1: 11 (for trucks and intercity buses) or 1: 6 (for city buses) with full power transfer. lie. Accordingly, torques must be applied to the output shaft in such gearboxes that reach a 16-, 11- or 6-fold value compared to the input torque.
In order to achieve such large output torques, the motors of the hydrostatic transmissions must be greatly oversized, regardless of whether the transmissions only consist of a pump with a hydrostatic motor or whether they work in conjunction with a power split. Because of the relatively high speed of the output shaft on which the hydrostatic motors act, and because of the relatively small output torques, this has the consequence that the friction losses of the parts sliding against each other, such as z. B. sealing surfaces, pistons, cylinders, etc., are too large in relation to the transmitted power. This in turn has the consequence that the efficiency of the gearbox is getting worse and worse after 1: 1.
Apart from that, if the motors are too large, the maximum permissible speeds are limited.
It has therefore already been proposed to operate two or more smaller hydrostatic Moto Ren from a pump and act on the output shaft in such transmissions instead of a very large hydrostatic motor. This measure has proven to be a very good way of achieving smaller engines without the strict speed limit mentioned above. However, this measure is not yet sufficient to reduce the above-mentioned undesirably large frictional losses, in particular in the case of large output speeds or small reduction ratios. These disadvantages caused by the frictional losses had to be accepted in the past due to the lack of a better solution.
The object of the invention is to overcome these disadvantages.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that at least one motor of the motor can be partially decoupled from the output shaft by at least one releasable coupling between this motor or these motors and the output shaft, which coupling automatically switches the motor to Stroke zero separates from the output shaft and, conversely, it couples at the transition from stroke zero to stroke.
A coupling can be assigned to several motors that can be uncoupled. However, several motors that can be uncoupled can also be combined into a group to which only one clutch is assigned.
If there are several motors which act parallel to one another on the common output shaft, the gear reduction is expediently changed by bringing one motor before the other from its maximum stroke to stroke zero, so that one motor after the other is separated from the output shaft and, if the reduction ratio is changed in the opposite direction, it is also coupled again in the reverse order. Switching the clutches at stroke zero ensures that, despite the <B> switching off </B> and switching on of the motors, a rapid and steady adjustment of the gear is ensured in the entire reduction range in a jolt-free manner.
A retaining clutch can be provided for each disengageable motor or motor group, which brakes and stops the motor or motor group after the clutch is released from the output shaft and, conversely, releases it again during the coupling process.
For gears with very large reduction ranges, it is also proposed to switch on different reduction ranges between the decoupling motors or motor groups and the clutch to the output shaft so that they rotate at different speeds at the same speed of the transmission output shaft in the coupled state, but without disconnection due to the to exceed the maximum permissible speeds. As a result, better utilization of the individual motors is achieved in the sense that the torque is further increased at the same pressure of the working fluid.
The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of some exemplary embodiments.
To illustrate the exemplary embodiments, the axial piston transmission with power split via a double planetary gear was selected, with only two motors or motor groups (double motor), of which only one motor or motor group can be switched off via a detachable coupling according to the invention on the output shaft, whereas the other motor or the other motor group acts on the common output shaft without an intermediate coupling. The, disengageable motor group is shown in part without an additional reduction gear between the clutch and the relevant motors, on the other hand with an additional reduction gear. Transmissions in the embodiment shown represent transmissions that are best suited for the present purpose.
Instead of only one motor or motor group that can be decoupled, the other motor or motor group can of course also be decoupled; in the same way, further motors or motor groups could be decoupled. Likewise, the power branching can also take place via a simple planetary gear or a differential gear.
In addition, the invention can be used without further res also in other types of transmission, be it that instead of Axialkolbenaggre gaten z. B. radial piston units are used or that it is purely hydraulic, that is, without power split gear or the like.

In FIGS. <B> 1 </B> to <B> 6 </B> and <B> 8 </B> to <B> 10 </B>, the parts corresponding to one another are provided with the same reference numbers, even if individual parts with the same designation are structurally modified or shown schematically in the various figures.
The pump is basically labeled <B> 1 </B>, the <B> </B> first <B> </B> motor is basically labeled with two and the second motor is basically labeled <B> 3 </B> .
The drive takes place via the drive shaft 4, the pinion <B> 5 </B> of which meshes with the planetary gears <B> 6 </B>. The planet gears <B> 6 </B> mesh with the internally toothed gear <B> 7. </B> This gear <B> 7 </B> is together with the bearing and end cover <B> 8 </ B > held on the gear housing <B> 9 </B> with screws <B> 10 </B>. The planetary gears <B> 6 </B>, like the planet gears <B> 11 </B>, are rotatably mounted on the axle journals 12 in the common planetary gear carrier <B> 13 </B>.
The planet gears <B> 11 </B> mesh on the inside with the sun gear 14, which is tapered on the output shaft <B> 15 </B>, and on the outside with the internally toothed gear <B> 16 </B> which is rotatable is mounted on the output shaft <B> 15 </B>. The gear <B> 16 </B> is also provided with external toothing with which the gear <B> 17 </B> of the pump drive shaft 18 meshes. The shaft 18 is rotatably housed in the bearings 19 and 20 in the Getriebege housing or in the control disk 21. The cylinder drum 22 of the pump 1 is non-rotatably mounted on the shaft 18 or driven by it. The pistons 23 in the gearboxes according to FIGS. 1 to 4 and 8 work on the ones in the swivel housing 24 by means of ball bearings 25 rotatably mounted swash plate 26.
The pivot housing 24 is mounted pivotably in the gear housing 9 by means of the pin 27 (not shown in detail Darge). The cylinder drum is provided in the usual way on the side facing the control disk 21 with openings 28, through which the cylinder spaces 29 with the control grooves 30, and further via the bores 31 with the bores 32 are hydraulically connected, the bores <B> 32 </B> serve as suction and pressure lines from pump unit 1 to motor units 2 and 3. The motors 2 and 3 are, like the pump 1, designed in axial piston construction. In the gearboxes according to FIGS. 1 to 4 and 8, their pistons work in the same way as the pump pistons on swash plates which, as in the case of the pump, are rotatably mounted in swivel housings by means of ball bearings.
Their cylinder chambers are also connected via corresponding openings in the cylinder drum and via control grooves and bores with the aforementioned bores 32, in such a way that the motors work parallel to one another on the output shaft with a stroke other than zero.
The motor 2 according to FIGS. 1, 3 and 4 can act directly on the output shaft 15 and be arranged concentrically therewith. However, according to FIG. 5, it can also act on the output shaft 15 via a gear transmission, which consists of the wheels 33, 34.
The motor <B> 3 </B> initially acts on a shaft <B> 35 </B> which can be coaxial or only axially parallel to the output shaft 15, depending on how the shaft 35 acts on the coupling member 36 of the between the motor 3 and the output shaft 15 provided releasable coupling 37, the member 38 of which is non-rotatably connected to the drive shaft 15 from acts. The shaft 35 can either directly or via a planetary gear consisting of the wheels 39, 40, 41 and axial to the motor 3, or via a reduction gear consisting of the wheels 42, 43 on the coupling member 36 work.
With a retaining clutch 44 is designated, which comes into operation when the clutch 37 is released. The fixed clutch 44 can be ausgebil det like the clutch 37 as a lamellar clutch or as a band brake. In the case of the multi-disc clutch, the member 45 of the retaining clutch 44 is connected to the output shaft of the motor 3 according to FIGS. 1, 3 and 5 directly or via gears 42, 43 in a rotationally fixed manner and can be connected via discs of the usual type to the member 46 screwed to the gearbox housing be firmly coupled. In the case of the band brake, according to FIG. 4, a brake band 47 is placed around the drum of the motor 3 and fastened to the gear housing. B. can be actuated by a (only schematically indicated) piston 48.
The pumps and motors can either be designed with swiveling inclined disks according to FIGS. 1, 3 and 4 or with swiveling drums according to FIG. 5, but apart from that they can also be designed in a different manner.
The pumps and motors can also be designed as double units in accordance with FIGS. 8 to 10 in such a way that two independently working piston drums are provided coaxially to one another and coaxially and non-rotatably to their drive shaft, the oil supply and oil discharge respectively via Double-sided Steupie gel takes place between two associated drums. So, shows z. B. Fig. 8 such a transmission in which the double motors and the double pump are constructed vertically to each other, Fig. 9 </B> a transmission with a triangular arrangement of double motors and double pump and Fig. 10 </B> a gearbox with double motors and double pumps lying horizontally relative to each other.
Which type of gearbox structure is chosen depends essentially on the maximum required reduction ratio and the installation conditions for the gearbox. The in Figs. 8 to 10 Ge gearboxes with double units are particularly well suited for use in railcars, locomotives or the like, where particularly large reduction ranges are required and Particularly high or extremely high outputs must be transmitted and the installation conditions also require a relatively small gear design.
The clutches 37 and 44 are expediently actuated by hydraulic pistons 48, as is indicated in FIG. 1. The actuation should take place in such a way that when the clutch 37 is engaged, the retaining clutch 44 is released or vice versa.
According to the invention, the switching of the clutches takes place at stroke zero of the second motor <B> 3, </B> z. B. in the manner that is illustrated in FIG. 6. There, for a transmission according to FIG. 1, the swivel housing 24 for the pump 1 and the motors 2, 3 are indicated by dashed lines. Pins <B> 50 </B> are attached to their lever arms 49, which are located in recesses <B> 51 </B> in the connecting links <B> 52 </B> and <B> which are attached to the transmission housing and are displaceable in the longitudinal direction 53 intervene.
A pin 54 or <B> 55 </B> is fastened to each backdrop <B> 52 </B> or <B> 53 </B>, which is attached via a joint member <B> 56 </B> or <B> 57 </B> is connected to a pin <B> 58 </B> or <B> 59 </B> of the adjusting lever <B> 60 </B>, which is on a gear housing be sensitive pin <B> 61 </B> is pivotably mounted.
When this adjustment lever <B> 60 </B> is adjusted, which is followed by the rod of the hydraulic piston <B> 63 </B> linked to this handlebar via link and pin <B> 62 </B>, the upper one becomes Setting <B> 52 </B> to the right and the lower setting <B> 53 </B> to the left or vice versa. The position of the swivel housing shown in Fig. 6 corresponds to the largest reduction of the gear, in which both motors 2 and 3 act with the largest stroke on the output shaft 15, the pump stroke being about a third of the maximum stroke is set.
As a result, at a pressure of the working fluid that is three times as great as with the ratio 1: 1, seven times the torque of the drive shaft is exerted on the output shaft 15, namely with a reduction between the output shaft 15 and the drive shaft 4, the 1: 7 is.
The pressure generated by the pump 64 keeps the piston 48 of the coupling 37 under pressure via the lines 65, 66, the switchover slide 67 and the line 68, so that the lamellae between link <B> 36 </B> and link <B> 38 </B> are pressed onto one another and thus couple the motor 3 to the output shaft 15. In contrast, the piston 48 of the retaining clutch 44 is pressed off the lamellae by its spring, because the piston 48 is in the depressurized line 69, which is in the position shown of the switchover slide 67 with the line leading to the outside 70 is connected, not pressurized with oil.
If, when the control lever 71 is actuated upwards, the control slide 72 linked to it is shifted to the right, the oil flowing out of the pump 64 via the lines 73 and 74 becomes the Move the adjusting piston 63 to the left. The backdrop <B> 53 </B> is then shifted to the left and the backdrop 52 to the right via the mechanism 54 to <B> 62 </B>. From the design of the link recesses 51 it can be seen that initially only the stroke of the motor 3 is adjusted to the stroke zero, while the stroke of the motor 2 and that of the pump 1 reach the previously set value maintains.
When the stroke position of the motor 3 is reached, the cam 75 on the adjusting lever 60 moves the slide 76 to the right so far that the position shown in the drawing with the line 77 connected, leading to the open line 78 ge closed and the line 77 is switched to the line 65 ge. The oil coming from the pump 64 then acts on the left end face of the reversing slide 67, and the slide is pushed to the right against the action of its spring 79, so that now via the line 69 The retaining clutch 44 is actuated. The coupling 37 is released by switching the line 68 to the pressureless line 80. As a result, the motor 3 is in turn held in the zero stroke position.
If the adjusting piston 63 is further adjusted in the direction of 1: 1, the transmission then operates with a single motor, i.e. H. the reduction is then only determined by the stroke ratio between the strokes of pump 1 and motor 2. In this case, the pump is first brought to full stroke, while the motor 2 remains at full stroke for the time being. Since the pressure of the working fluid falls through. With even further displacement of the piston 63 in the direction of 1: 1, the full pump stroke is retained from the reduction ratio 1: 2, while the stroke of the motor 2 is now adjusted to zero, and finally even reaching negative values beyond 1: 1. The pressure of the working fluid is proportional to the drive shaft torque and inversely proportional to the stroke of the pump.
With the drive shaft torque being constant, the pressure of the working fluid in this exemplary embodiment therefore also remains constant from the reduction ratio 1: 2 to 1: 1 and beyond because of the constant pump stroke.
When the control lever 71 is actuated in the opposite direction, the adjusting piston 63 is moved to the right and the entire previously discussed process of stroke adjustment and clutch actuation runs in the opposite direction.
When the adjusting piston 63 is displaced to the right beyond the position shown, the full stroke of the two motors 2 and 3 is retained. However, the pump stroke is brought to its full negative value. If the stroke changes from a positive to a negative value, this results in a gear change from forward gear to reverse gear or vice versa.
In Fig. 7 are for a transmission according to FIG. 4 In, and the speed ratios n1 / n4, n2 / n4 and n3, the stroke ratios hl / hmax, h2 / hmax and h3 / hmax of the pump 1 and the motors 2 and 3 above the Output shaft speed / input shaft speed ratio = n15 / n4, where:

In the case of the transmission according to FIG. 4, the shafts 4, <B> should be via the branching transmission <B> 5 </B> to <B> 17 </B> (see also FIG. 1) 15 </B> and <B> 18 </B> so that the shaft <B> 15 </B> when the shaft <B> 18 </B> is stationary at the same speed as the shaft 4 and conversely, the shaft <B> 18 </B> rotates at the same speed as the shaft 4 when the shaft <B> 15 </B> is stationary.
This results in general for: <I> "In-, </I> # <B>1<I>-</I> </B> n, .-, In4 and n11n, nl <n., In. , nll .-, In.,.
In contrast, the motor <B> 3 </B> works on the output shaft <B> 15 </B> via the planetary gear <B> 39, </B> 40, 41 with a transmission ratio between the output shaft speed n1., and engine speed n ", which should be, for example, n15 / n3 = 1: 4, so that the engine <B> 3 </B> coupled rotates at least at four times the output shaft speed, which can be written without dimensions: n3 / n4 = 4n15 / n4 In Fig. 7 we get:
The speed ratio n1 / ii4 of the pump 1 plotted against the reduction ratio n15 / n4 is a straight line that passes through n1 / n4 = 1.0 at n15 / n4 = 0.0 and through n1 / n4 = 0.0 at n15 / n4 = 1.0 is given; the speed ratio n2 / n4 of motor 2 plotted against n15 / n4 a straight line through the points n2 / n4 = 0.0 with n15 / n4 = 0.0 or n2 / n4 = 1.0 with n15 / n4 = 1, 0.
Finally, the speed ratio n3 / n4 of the motor <B> 3 </B> is determined by a straight line through the points n3 / n4 = 0.0 at n15 / n4 = 0.0 and n3 / n4 = 1.0 is given when n15 / n4 = 0.25 = 1: 4. As soon as ni / n4 reaches the value 1.0, motor 3 is disengaged and brought to a standstill, so that n3 / n4 = 0.0, namely in the entire range of n15 / n4 greater than 0.25.
The stroke ratios result from the condition that the amount of oil delivered by pump 1 must be the same as that taken up by motors 2 and 3. In connection with the above speed ratios and taking into account the fact that all cylinder drums should have the same dimensions, the result in the range n15 / n4 is greater than 0.5 with h1 / hmax = 1.0 and h3 / hmax = 0.0 in this area for: h2 / hmax = (1 - n15 / n4): n15 / n4 = ik4 / n15 - 1.0, i.e. the one in Fig. 7 through the points h2 / hmax = 1.0 at n15 / n4 = 0.5 and h2 / hmax = 0.0 with n15 / n4 = 1.0 running hyperbola.
In the range n15 / n4 equal to 0.25 to 0.5 results with h2 / hmax = 1.0 and with h3 / hmax = 0.0 for: h1 / hmax = n15 / n4: (1 - n15 / n4) = 1: (n4 / n15 - 1), i.e. the curve drawn in Fig. 7 through the points n15 / n4 = 0.5 at h1 / hmax = 1.0 and h1 / hmax = 1/3 = 0.333 at n15 / n4 = 0.25.
In the range n15 / n4 between 1 16 = 0.0625 and 1: 4 = 0.25, with h1 / hmax = 1/3 = 0.333 and h2 / hmax = 1.0: h3 / hmax = [0.333 (1 - n15 / n4) - n15 / n4]: 4n15 / n4 = (n4 / n15-4) / 12; so that h3 / hmax runs according to the hyperbola drawn in FIG. 7, which results at n13 / n4 = 1:16, h3 / hmax = 1.0 and at n15 / n4 = 1: 4, h3 / hmax = 0.0 . In numerical terms, depending on n15 / n4, this results in h1 / hmax values as follows:
EMI0005.0001
n15 / n4 <SEP> = <SEP> 0.0625 <SEP> 0.0000 <SEP> -0.0625
<tb> -0.1000 <SEP> -0.2000 <SEP> -0.2500
<tb> h1 / hmax <SEP> = <SEP> 0.333 <SEP> 0.0000 <SEP> -0.2941
<tb> -0.4545 <SEP> -0.833 <SEP> - <SEP> UNO These values are only partially entered in Fig. 7.
Furthermore, in FIG. 7 the pressure ratio p / p1, o of the working fluid is plotted against n15 / n4, i.e. H. the pressure <B> p </B> of the working fluid at a constant drive torque in relation to the pressure p1.0, which is present at the same drive torque with the transmission ratio n15 / n4 = 1.0.
In the present embodiment, the pressure <B> p </B> at a constant drive torque is indirectly proportional to the stroke ratio h1 / hmax of the pump. The pressure ratio p / p1.0 thus results as a function of the transmission ratio n15 / n4 as follows: p / p1.0 = 1.0: h1 / hmax, otherwise, as shown in FIG.
It can be seen from this that at n15 / n4 = 0.0625 = 1: 16 with only a three-fold increase in pressure of the working fluid compared to the pressure p1.0 on the output shaft at full stroke of motors 2 and 3, 16 times the drive torque can be exerted , which results as follows: A torque component equal to the size of the drive torque is transferred purely mechanically from shaft 4 to shaft 15 via the planetary distributor gear, three torque components result from a three-fold increase in pressure from motor 2 and 4 X 3 = 12 torque components 39, 40 and 41 are applied by the engine 3 via the Pla designated transmission.
As already mentioned, the inven tion apart from a reduction in the friction ratio, especially in the case of small gear ratios, especially a quick transition z. B. from single-engine to twin-engine operation and vice versa, so that a quick, jolt-free, stepless adjustment of the gearbox in the entire reduction range is made possible. The simultaneous arrangement or insertion of an additional, larger reduction ratio between the one motor and its coupling to the output shaft allows better use of this motor, so that with the same increase in pressure, a significantly greater increase in torque is achieved. The proposed special installation arrangements are particularly favorable solutions for vehicles with limited installation space.
Finally, for the range n131n4 smaller than <B> 1: 16, </B> including negative values of n151n1, with h.Ih ..
