Im folgenden werden einige Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung an Hand der Zeichnung erläutert. Von diesen zeigen im einzelnen Fig. 1 ein mit einem stufenlos regelbaren hydro statischen Drehmomentenwandler und einer Zapf welle ausgerüstetes Schlepper-Getriebeaggregat, bei dem der Drehmomentenwandler gleichachsig mit der Kurbelwelle des Antriebsmotors und mit der Antrieb welle eines an den Drehmomentenwandler ange schlossenen Stirnrad-Untersetzungsgetriebe verläuft, im Längsschnitt;

Transmission unit on vehicles, in particular for agriculture The invention extends to a transmission unit on vehicles, in particular for agriculture, which is provided with a torque converter for the wheel axle that can be driven by the motor shaft and is provided with a power take-off shaft,
which can be driven either by the torque converter or by bypassing the torque converter via a clutch and an intermediate gear from the motor shaft.
The object of the invention is to create a gear unit which results in a particularly favorable utilization of the available power of the drive motor for the axle drive at any desired driving speed and a particularly simple and easy-to-use gear for driving the power take-off shaft,
the latter being operated either proportionally to the engine speed at standard speed or proportionally to the respective driving speed and can also be set arbitrarily in and out of operation during use at standard speed with the drive engine running under load.
The invention consists in that the rotary torque converter is designed as a hydrostatic transmission. By using a hydrostatic torque converter for the transmission of the engine power to the wheel axle, in addition to the extremely advantageous possibility of driving at any driving speed between a barely perceptible crawling speed and the maximum speed permitted for the respective vehicle, a special clutch is also intended
can be saved for driving. This should namely be replaced by the zero setting of the torque converter between forward and reverse travel and can optionally be supplemented by a simple control element to arbitrarily interrupt the flow of force within the converter by reducing the fluid pressure.
Since the mechanical connection between the engine and the hydrostatic torque converter does not need to be separated for this, the gearbox can be used to drive a secondary shaft for operating the power take-off shaft with a standard speed proportional to the engine speed at any point in the continuously running engine speed number circumferential connection between the crankshaft of the engine and the input side of the hydrostatic torque converter arranged who the, which leads to a considerable simplification of the overall design Ge.
Some exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained below with reference to the drawing. Of these show in detail Fig. 1 with a continuously variable hydrostatic torque converter and a PTO equipped tractor transmission unit, in which the torque converter is coaxial with the crankshaft of the drive motor and with the drive shaft of a spur gear reduction gear connected to the torque converter , in longitudinal section ;
Fig. 2 shows a cross section along the line II-II in Fig. 1 through the gear transmission for the secondary shaft drive with two attacking white direct secondary gears;

4 shows the output part of a tractor gear unit similar to that shown in FIG. 3, but with a downwardly pivoted second stage of the spur gear reduction gear and bevel gear axle gear for the differential arranged below the intermediate shaft, also in longitudinal section;
Fig. 5 shows the output part of a renewed modified tractor transmission unit similar to that shown in Fig. 4, in which the continuously variable hydrostatic torque converter and the axle differentially vertically above or below each other.
are arranged below the auxiliary and intermediate shaft trains, while the two-stage spur gear reduction gear connected to the torque converter and the bevel gear axle gear are located behind the axle differential, again in longitudinal section; Fig. 6 shows a again modified tractor transmission unit with a switching clutch for the PTO shaft drive, which allows a connection between tween the auxiliary shaft driven proportionally to the engine speed and the axle drive, again in central longitudinal section;
FIG. 7 shows a detail A from FIG. 6 with the changeover clutch on a larger scale in the position for operating the power take-off shaft at a standard speed proportional to the engine speed; FIG. 8 shows the same change-over clutch, but in the position for driving-dependent operation of the power take-off shaft; Fig. 9 is a partial cross-section through the switching clutch according to the line IX-IX in Fig. 8;
FIG. 10 shows the changeover clutch in its third emergency drive or towing position, and FIG. 11 shows the changeover clutch in the same position as FIG. 10 in conjunction with a control element for automatically interrupting the power transmission through the hydrostatic torque converter when producing the Converters bypass the direct mechanical connection between the engine and the final drive via the auxiliary shaft.
The tractor gear unit illustrated in Fig. 1 of the drawing serves to convert the power supplied by the crankshaft extension 1 of a drive motor, indicated only by a flywheel 2 at the crankshaft end, via a continuously variable hydrostatic torque converter 5 with a gear ratio selector lever 6 and a multi-stage transmission 7, 7 ', 8', 8 on an axle drive 9,
10 and an axle differential 10 'for the wheel drive with any between 0 and one of the achievable maximum speed ent speaking continuously variable wheel speed. The hydrostatic torque converter can preferably be used for the converter with a mechanical clutch of the primary and secondary part, as described, for example, in German Patent No. 862538 and is characterized by a particularly favorable efficiency over a wide transmission range and through characterized by low space requirements.
Which led out of the gear housing 11. PTO shaft 12 can be connected by a clutch 13 either with a coaxially arranged auxiliary shaft 19 or with the hollow shaft intermediate shaft 31 of the spur gear reduction gear 7, 7 ', 8', 8 for the axle drive.
When the shift clutch 13 and shift fork 17 are in the position shown, the power take-off shaft 12 is non-rotatably coupled to the auxiliary shaft 19, which in turn is driven by the drive motor via a friction clutch 22, 23 with a release lever 24, a hollow shaft 1 'and a Gear ratio 20, 21 is driven with a standard speed proportional to the engine speed.
By placing the shift fork 17 in the position 17 'indicated by dashed lines, the PTO shaft 12 is separated from the auxiliary shaft 19 and connected to the hollow intermediate shaft 31, which rotates proportionally to the wheel drive speed and thus to the Fahrge speed, so that the PTO shaft is in this switching position of the clutch 13 runs depending on the drive, which is particularly advantageous for the power transmission to the wheels of a drive-axle trailer vehicle.
The use of a two-stage spur gear reduction gear 7, 7 ', 8', 8 with an intermediate shaft 31 as a countershaft in front of the bevel gear axle drive 9, 10 enables the total reduction of the crankshaft to the wheel speed of approx : 25 to be accommodated within the transmission housing 11 with the smallest space requirement, so that any further reduction in the form of portal axle drives or the like for the drive wheels is unnecessary.
The design of the intermediate shaft 31 of the two-stage spur gear reduction gear as a hollow shaft enclosing the shaft train consisting of the auxiliary shaft 19 and PTO shaft 12 allows the gears 7, 7 'of the first gear reduction stage to be used twice for the axle drive as well as for the drive-dependent drive the PTO shaft 12.
The subdivision of the shaft train for the axle drive between the spur gear 7 at the output of the hydrostatic torque converter 5 and the coaxially extending shaft 9 'of the pinion 9 enables the attachment of a stationary in the Ge housing 11 intermediate piece 32, which has several radial bores 33 and one Means bore 34 is provided and to initiate the currency rend of operation to compensate for losses in the torque converter 5 through a device 35 from a pump 40 pressure medium is used.
The pressure pump 40, which can for example be of the rotary piston or gear type, is driven by a pair of gear wheels 50, 51 from the crankshaft extension 1 when the drive motor is running and sucks the pressure medium through a suction line 52 and a filter 53 from the oil sump 42 of the gear unit.
Via a branch line 35 'of the pressure line 35, the control slide 55, which can be moved by the selector lever 6 via a linkage 54, is connected to the pressure pump 40, which is intended for the auxiliary power-operated adjustment of the swash plates in the hydrostatic torque converter 5 for changing the transmission ratio .
According to FIG. 2, two further secondary transmissions in the form of a belt transmission 36 and a mower gear transmission 37, 37 'are connected. Both auxiliary gears are connected by spur gears 28 and 29 with the drive wheel 21 of the auxiliary shaft 19 in such a way that they are independently driven by the axle drive, but by operating the friction clutch 22, 23 with the engine running, even under load at will in and can be decommissioned.
The tractor transmission unit shown in FIG. 3 differs from that described with reference to FIG. 1 mainly in that the second stage 8 ', 8 of the countershaft 7, 7', 8 ', 8 between the output side of the torque converter 5 and the drive pinion 9 of the bevel gear axle drive is arranged behind the axle differential 10 'with a corresponding extension of the intermediate and hollow shaft 31.
As a result, in addition to shortening the center distance for the tractor, there is the possibility of attaching a second power take-off shaft 25, which runs continuously as a function of the drive, to the gear unit with very little effort. The power take-off shaft 12 can in the same way as described with reference to FIG. 1 by actuating the clutch 13 with the aid of the shift fork 17 in one sense or the other of the double arrow. 30 either via the separate operable friction clutch 22, 23 and the auxiliary shaft 19 operated at standard speed ben or coupled to the intermediate hollow shaft 31 of the before lying to drive-dependent operation.
In the gear units according to FIGS. 1 and 3, the output shaft of the torque converter 5 with the pinion 7 and the output shaft 9 'of the countershaft 7, 7', 8 ', 8, which carries the pinion 9 of the bevel gear axle drive, coaxial with each other,
so that the housing 11 only needs to be provided with two parallel main longitudinal bores - in the converter and in the auxiliary shaft axis - and one main transverse bore for the axle drive.
The transition to three main longitudinal bores in the transmission housing 11 results in a number of further modification options for the transmission unit. Thus, the embodiment shown in Fig. 4 represents with downwardly laid output shaft 9 'for the axle drive a particularly large ground clearance for the main part of the tractor,
since the lowest point of the gear housing 11 only locally surrounds the ring gear 10. At the same time, a free installation space 56 for a hydraulic power lift is obtained over the axle differential 10 '.
A particularly short overall length of the entire transmission unit with at the same time greater clearance from the ground can finally be achieved by an arrangement according to FIG. 5, which differs from the embodiment in FIG. 4 only by relocating the continuously variable torque converter 5 over and over entire two-stage spur gear reduction gear 7, 7 ', 8', 8 behind the bevel gear axle gear 9, 10 differs.
The tractor gear unit according to Fig. 6, which has remained unchanged in terms of its main components, which has remained unchanged, differs except for the axle drive shown here as simplified as less important, primarily due to a special design of the Umschaltkupp ment 13 'in the auxiliary shaft 19 and PTO 12 existing Wave train from the above-described enclosed embodiments.
In FIGS. 7 to 10, therefore, the changeover clutch shown in circle A in FIG. 6 is shown enlarged in its positions corresponding to the various drive options. Of these, Fig. 7 shows the clutch 13 'and the shift fork 17 in the switching position I for the operation of the PTO shaft 12 with standard speed.
In this position of the clutch 13 ', which is completely shifted to the left, the splined ends 61 and 62 of the PTO shaft 12 and the auxiliary shaft 19 are rotatably connected to one another by the right longer part 63 of the inner groove of the clutch 13', while the external teeth 65 of the clutch 13 'of the internally grooved collar 66 of the gear 16 rotating proportionally with the axle drive is separated.
When moving the clutch 13 'in the middle position 11 with the vertical position of the shift fork 17, as shown in FIG. 8, the connection with the auxiliary shaft 19 is released, the splined end 62 in the groove-free area 67 of the clutch 13', while whose external toothing 65 at the right end now engages in the internally grooved collar 66 of the gear 16, as can be seen particularly clearly from FIG.
Since the outer splined end 61 of the power take-off shaft 12 remains in engagement with the inner groove part 63 of the coupling 13 'at the same time, the power take-off shaft 12 is driven by the spur gear 16 in this shaded position of the coupling 13'.
10 finally shows the clutch 13 'in its additional third shift position III with the shift fork 17 pivoted all the way to the right. In this position, the clutch 13' is on the one hand through the left part 64 of its internal groove with the external toothing 63 of the auxiliary shaft 19 and on the other through the external toothing 65 with the collar 66 of the gear 16 in engagement and thus establishes a connection between the auxiliary shaft 19 and the axle drive 9, 10 bypassing the torque converter 5.
This possibility of direct mechanical torque transmission between the drive motor and axle drive via the existing auxiliary shaft 19, which is created with very little additional effort, allows the motor to be started up by towing it and also allows emergency driving if the hydrostatic torque converter fails.
Finally, FIG. 11 shows a unit with a device for automatically interrupting the power transmission through the hydrostatic torque converter 5 when the clutch 13 'is switched on in the emergency setup described last.
This consists essentially of a ver with the shift fork 17 by linkage 38 related spool 39, which in its illustrated open position an outlet for the pressure medium promoted by the motor-driven pump 40 through line 41 in the oil sump 42, while the pressure medium normally releases is fed through the line 35 to the interior of the torque converter 5.
By releasing such a connection between the pressure chamber in the torque converter and the oil sump, any torque transmission through the converter is made impossible and in this way reliably prevents damage being caused by uncontrollable internal forces as a result of incorrect operation of the transmission.
A longitudinal slot 45 in the linkage 38 cooperating with a bolt 44 on the shift fork 17 allows the control slide 39 to be operated independently of the clutch 13 'in the other two positions of the clutch 13', for example by means of a special manual control linkage 46, 47 or through to open the shift lever 6 brought into neutral position for the transmission ratio of the torque converter in order to be able to interrupt the torque transmission through the hydrostatic torque converter at any time at will.
