Device for synchronous control of a cinematographic recording or playback device with a magnetic device by means of control pulses It is known that synchronous operation between a Kinoaufnahme.- or playback device and a separately driven magnetic device by means of control to bring about impulses that are driven by a contact drum coupled to the drive of the image device and generated by a contact drum coupled with the tape drive or driven by the tape itself.
Since most tape recorders are set up for different tape speeds, it must be possible to adapt synchronization devices of the type mentioned above to these different tape speeds. In particular, there must also be the possibility of synchronization devices that are intended as supplementary units for commercially available tape recorders.
In the previously known devices of this type, he followed the adjustment by replacing the tape driven with the as. Pulse generator the nenden contact drum coupled role against such a different diameter. Since no manual skills can be expected from the user of a tape recorder in general, this solution is disadvantageous. In addition, the need for several such roles means an increase in acquisition costs.
It has also become known to design the role driven by the tape in steps and to fold the tape when changing the tape speed. Such a method has the disadvantage in common with the method described above that the angle of wrap of the tape around the roller to be driven by it is different at the individual tape speeds and thus the angle of wrap that is recognized as particularly favorable cannot be used for every tape speed.
Furthermore, the tape must be deflected from its straight guide at at least one of the selectable tape speeds, which can only be achieved by special additional guide means.
Another known synchronizing device provides several different contact devices at the controlling point, the contact devices being able to be switched on as required for the purpose of changing the speed ratio of the devices running in the same direction with one another.
This synchronizing device also requires a considerable amount of electromechanical means.
According to the invention, these disadvantages are avoided in a synchronizing device of the type mentioned in that on a contact drum coupled to the tape drive or driven by the tape itself, which carries only one row of contacts, several on the circumference of the contact drum; staggered pantographs are arranged, which can optionally be connected in parallel NEN.
The on the circumference of the contact drum offset to orderly pantographs can optionally be arranged from foldable.
These various possible embodiments of the inventive concept are explained below with reference to the drawing, the interaction between the contact drum driven by the tape and the contact drum coupled to the drive of the image device being shown in FIG.
whereas this can be dispensed with in the second exemplary embodiment.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, the roller 2 provided with teeth is driven by a perforated magnetic tape 1. The roller 2 is firmly connected to the contact drum 4 via a shaft 3. The latter carries a number of contact strips 5 and a closed contact ring 6, which is in conductive connection with the individual contact strips 5.
A current collector 7 grinds on the contact ring 6, while the current collector 8 and 9 grind on the contact strip 5. All current collectors 7, 8 and 9 are arranged on a carrier 10, with the two Tonbandgeschwindib speeds, z. B. 9.5 and 19 cm per sec., Associated pantographs 8 and 9 on the circumference of the contact drum 4 are arranged offset to each other. The two current collectors 8 and 9 can optionally be connected in parallel by a switch 11. The parallel connection has the effect as if the con tact drum 4 would carry twice the number of contact strips.
The two current collectors 8 and 9 are connected to the winding 13 of a polarized relay which is fed by a battery 14. The image tape 15 runs over a toothed drum 16 which is coupled to the drive motor 17 of a projector (not shown) via the shaft 18. On the shaft 18, a contact drum 19 is also fastened, the contact strip 20 carries.
On this con tact strip two juxtaposed current collectors 21 and 22, which are in the circuit of the winding 23 of the polarized relay, wherein the winding 23 is also fed by the battery 14 ge. The switching contact 24, which is actuated by the relay armature 25, is located in the circuit of the drive motor 17 for the projector.
The known mode of operation of the synchronization device is as follows: The speed of the projector motor 17 is above the synchronous speed, which is determined by the speed of the tape 1. The projector motor is regulated down to the synchronization speed by periodic shutdown.
The arranged on the contact drum 4 contact strips 5 close over the associated current collector 8 and 9, the circuit of the winding 13 of the polarized relay. The armature 25 of the relay is thus attracted to this winding and closes the switch 24 for the projector motor 17.
The armature 25 is held by the core of the winding 13 through the bias of the polarized relay even when the circuit is interrupted, until the circuit of the winding 23 is closed by a contact strip 20 of the contact drum 19 coupled to the projector motor 17, so that the relay armature 25 detaches from the core of the winding 13 and the circuit of the projector motor 17 is opened. The circuit of the projector motor 17 remains open until the winding 13 receives a new current pulse.
The motor of the projector, which is still running out from the previous contact game, is switched on again by the pulse generated by the tape and exceeds the synchronous speed until the contact strip on the contact drum coupled to the motor of the imaging device switches the motor off again. The motor 17 of the image device now runs down with falling speed until the next pulse caused by the tape turns the motor 17 on again. The motor 17 of the imaging device thus oscillates constantly around the synchronous speed.
For the purpose of adapting the synchronizer to different tape speeds, it is le diglich necessary to operate the switch 11 either to be.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2, the current collector 9, which is connected in parallel and arranged in an offset manner, is mounted on a pivotable support 12 so that it can be optionally lifted from the row of contacts.
In the two exemplary embodiments, switching to two different Tonbandgeschwindig speeds is possible. It is of course possible to supplement the arrangement in such a way that three or more audio tape speeds, with additional current collectors being provided in an orderly position offset from one another according to the invention, can be taken into account.
