Steam turbine with bypass expansion device In large steam turbine systems, it is often not possible to operate the steam boiler even with the lowest steam volumes required by the turbine, so that when starting up or when the load is switched off, at least part of the steam generated by the boiler must be reduced to low pressure relax and feed the capacitor. In the case of nuclear power plants, it is even necessary to cool the entire amount of live steam to a temperature between about 30 and 700 C and to release it to condenser pressure.
In the known systems, the steam conducted in a bypass to the turbine is relaxed by usually multi-stage throttling, cooled by what sereinjection and fed through a pipe to the condenser. With this expansion, however, the volume of the steam increases so much that very large openings have to be cut out for its introduction into the condenser in its housing or in the discharge housing. There are not only large dimensions of the supply lines for the bypass steam, but also unfavorable shapes of the exhaust steam or condenser housing in terms of strength.
The invention relates to a steam turbine having a two-flow or multi-flow low-pressure part with a bypass expansion device. The disadvantages mentioned are avoided according to the invention in that at least part of the expansion device is arranged in the outflow housing of the turbine between two sub-ducts for the steam leaving the low-pressure part and flowing into the condenser.
This measure ensures that the expansion of the bypass steam takes place at least partially in the discharge housing itself, with a space of this discharge housing not required for the flow of the exhaust steam from the turbine being used for accommodating at least part of the discharge device. Bypass steam, which has not yet been expanded down to the condenser pressure, ie has a smaller volume than the fully expanded steam, is introduced into the vent housing from the outside.
The supply lines as well as the openings to be cut out in the discharge housing are therefore smaller.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in simplified form in the drawing. They show: FIG. 1 an axial longitudinal section through the three-flow low-pressure part of a steam turbine with part of the discharge housing, FIG. 2 a section along line II-11 in FIGS. 1, < FIG. 3 shows an embodiment of the relaxation device that differs from that shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, and FIGS. 4, 5 ,
6 Sections according to lines IV-IV or V-V or VI-VI of Fig. 3.
The low-pressure part of a steam turbine shown in FIG. 1 has a rotor 1 with three groups of blades 21, T 'and 2 "' through which working steam flows in parallel. The groups of blades 2 'and V 'are supplied with steam from an inlet housing 3 located between the two and flow through them axially in mutually opposite directions. Two feed lines 4 and 5 lead into the inlet housing 3. Stage group 2 "'is supplied with steam via a special inlet housing 6 from two supply lines 7 and 8 .
After exiting the three blade groups 2 ', T' and 2'11 connected in parallel, the exhaust steam flows in three sub-channels 9 ', 9 " and 9 .. , all of which are common Outflow housing 10 to a condenser, not shown, located below the turbine. The sub-channels 9 " and 9 ... are through a partition. 11 separated from each other.
Between the sub-channels 9 ' and 9 ", below the inlet housing 3 and the blade groups 2' and 2" in the outlet valve 10 < / B> leave a space 12 free through which the supply line 5 leads to the inlet housing 3 . The space 12 is bounded by walls 13 against the two partial channels 9 ' and 9 " of the exhaust steam.
The walls 13 form together with the wall 10 of the outflow housing, the intermediate wall 11 and additional ones that emerge from the blades 21 and T ' Steam as a guide serving as guide plates 14 diffuser-like widening channels 9 ' and 9 " for the two partial flows.
As part of a bypass expansion device for excess steam generated by the steam boiler, there is in the discharge housing 10 of the turbine between the two tea ducts 9, 9 " of the one leaving the low-pressure part (T, T ') and a pipe 15 is arranged and the condenser flowing in. This pipe 15 traverses the through the walls 13 towards the two partial channels 9 '< / B> and 9 "* delimited space 12. As shown in FIG. 2, the pipe 15 on one side penetrates the wall 10 of the discharge housing, on which it passes a flange 16 is attached.
On the other side, the tube 15 is closed and guided in a ring 17 fastened to the housing wall 10 , so that it is free when the temperature changes can expand.
The bypass steam, which is expediently already partially relaxed and cooled, but still has a pressure that is significantly higher than the condenser pressure, is fed to the pipe 15 via a line 18 (FIG. 2). The tube 15 is provided on its circumference with a larger number of relatively small openings 19 , which allow the steam to exit into the space 12, but with the steam so throttle strongly so that it is relaxed almost to the condenser pressure.
The walls 13 are also provided with a multiplicity of openings 20 through which the steam from the space 12 into the diffuser channels formed by the walls 10, 11, 13 for the exhaust steam can flow out, whereupon it is fed to the condenser. The guide plates 14 are also provided with openings 21 so that steam, which passes through recesses 22 in the walls 13 in the vicinity of the turbine housing into the space behind the left plates 14, passes through these openings 21 in FIG the mentioned diffuser channels for the turbine exhaust steam can emerge.
The openings 13 and 21 are provided in such a large number that the steam passes through them at a relatively low speed, that is to say without a significant pressure drop.
It is also possible, however, to form the openings 20 of the walls 13 which border the space 12 against the two sub-channels 9 ', 9 " as the last stage of the relaxation device The embodiment shown in FIG. 1 is particularly in the lower part of the space 12, where the two sub-channels 9 ' and 9 " meet , an immediate relaxation of the bypass steam in the inflow space of the condenser is provided. The closure of the space 12 is formed at that point by a pipe 23 to which the walls 13 tangentially connect.
This pipe 23 is supplied with partially pre-expanded bypass steam in a manner similar to that of pipe 15 . Openings 24 provided in the pipe 23, which now open directly into the flow space of the turbine exhaust steam flowing into the condenser, serve here as the last stage of the relaxation device.
According to FIGS. 3 to 6, the part of the expansion device built into space 12 consists of two pipes 25 and 26, which are arranged in parallel axes / B> which protrude from two opposite sides of the exhaust steam housing 10 into the space 12. At the end opposite the inlet side, these tubes are guided through a ring 27 or 28 attached to the housing wall and sealed against the space 12 .
The tubes 25 and 26 have a gradually decreasing diameter in the direction of flow and are provided with outlet openings 29 or 30 </ B> provided for the bypass steam to be released.
The bypass steam enters the tubes 25 and 26 axially on the side of the largest diameter and leaves them through the openings 29 and 30, where it exits into space 12 at a relatively high speed. The openings 29 and 30 form the throttle points of the expansion device. The fact that the openings 29 and 30 of the two tubes 25 and 26 are directed towards one another results in a strong one Swirling of the relaxed steam so that its kinetic energy is soon destroyed.
In the pipes 15, 23, 25, 26 or in the space 12, means for cooling the bypass steam, for example by injecting water, can optionally be provided.
