Table with adjustable table top inclination The present invention b.-retracts to a table with adjustable table top inclination.
In school operations, experience has shown that a table top inclination of 10 to 12 "is advantageous for the lowest grade. However, it has been found that it is very useful if the table top inclination can be individually adjusted to the students, where they can Learning to write is made easier.
For intermediate levels, the incline of the table top should be 8 to 100 and for upper levels, in which the adolescent students are to be prepared for work on horizontal workstations, it has proven to be useful a table inclination of 5 to 711 should be provided. This means that tables with different inclinations are required for school operations, which makes the furniture cumbersome and inconsistent. In addition, it is desirable to have a table inclination of 15 to 200, for example for drawing lessons for painting with watercolors.
School furniture with an adjustable inclination of the table top is already known, but these have the disadvantage that only a horizontal position and an inclination of about 100 were possible. Such constructions required eccentrics, switching cams, support levers, etc., which also had the disadvantage that the adjustment was associated with relatively large noises.
The present invention is characterized in that the table top can be pivoted about a longitudinal axis in such a way that the plate acts as a two-armed lever and an adjusting mechanism that can be operated by hand is present, which is parallel in the direction is arranged approximately in the middle between the axis of rotation and the support strut and the adjustment range of the table top comprises at least 2011. In the drawing,
Embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown.
Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a school desk, the inclined position of the table top being shown in dotted lines.
Fig. 2 shows a school desk with a slightly inclined table top GE, as it is useful for school lessons.
Fig. 3 shows a school desk with the table top at a steep incline, for example for technical drawing.
4 is a side view of the upper part of the table top with an adjustment mechanism, partially in section. Fig. 5 is a front view of a school desk with a continuous table top and a laterally lying adjustment mechanism.
FIG. 6 is a front view, corresponding to FIG. 5, of a school desk, in which there are two independently adjustable table tops.
Fig. 7 is a section through the adjustment mechanism.
FIG. 8 is a view of the adjusting mechanism according to FIG. 7 from above.
The table top 1 is movably attached to a rocker consisting of a cross member 2. A rectangular hollow profile 3 is attached to the table top between the two cross members 2. The table top can be pivoted about the axis of rotation 8 by means of pins 7 so that the table top acts as a two-armed lever. The cross members 2 are each attached to the extension tubes 9 , which in turn are adjustably mounted in the table base 10 .
The inclination of the table top is adjusted by the adjustment mechanism shown in detail in FIGS. 7 and 8. This consists of a spindle housing 11, a threaded sleeve 12 with a handwheel 13 and a spindle 14. The spindle housing 11 is provided with a thread into which the threaded bushing 12 is screwed in. The threaded sleeve 12 also has an internal thread in its interior, in which the spindle 14 is adjustably guided. The external thread of the threaded bushing 12 and its internal thread run in opposite directions, that is, if one is right-handed, the other is left-handed.
This means that when the handwheel 13 is turned, a two-stage adjustment is achieved in that the thread of the threaded bushing 12 is displaced in one direction and at the same time the thread of the spindle 14 effects an additional adjustment, so that with relatively few revolutions on the handwheel a large height adjustment of the spindle 14 comes about. The total adjustment is therefore the sum of the two thread pitches. It would also be conceivable to choose a three-stage or multi-stage mechanism instead of a two-stage adjustment mechanism.
The spindle housing 11 is pivotably attached to the cross member 2 by means of a pivot pin 15 and can therefore adapt to the changing inclination of the table top. In the spindle housing 11 there is also a slot 16, the width of which can be changed by a clamping screw 17 in order to block the spindle 14 to reach. The end of the spindle 14 is pivotably held in a U-shaped carrier 18 - in contrast to a guide in a slot that is largely free of play Storage is achievable.
The arrangement of the adjustment mechanism is such that it is - seen in the direction parallel to the length of the table top - approximately in the middle between the axis of rotation 8 and the extension tube < B> 9 , whereby it is achieved that there is enough leeway between the table top and the handset for operation even when the table top is at a sharp angle.
In Fig. 5, the table top is continuously designed, with the adjusting mechanism being arranged on one side of the cross member. The adjustment mechanism could of course also be present on the other side, depending on the most convenient operating location.
In Fig. 6, in contrast to this, the table top 1, and the hollow profile 3 are divided in the middle and there is an adjustment mechanism on both sides, so that the two table tops can be individually adjusted independently of each other. The table tops 1 'and F' are mounted in the middle by a bearing pin 19 which is inserted into a hole of one meter each in the hollow profiles Bearing piece 20 engages.
The present invention is not limited to school furniture, but could also be applied to drawing tables or office furniture. For most purposes, an adjustability of 0 to 2011 is sufficient, but an adjustment range of 0 to 901 can easily be achieved through appropriate training or replacement of the adjusting mechanism > can be achieved.
Instead of the adjustment mechanism shown, an undersgeartete device could be used ver such. B. in the form of a ratchet, an eccentric, etc.
