Description
Drehbare Kabeltrommel Nach vorliegender Erfindung ist eine drehbare Kabeltrommel für transportierbare elektrische Ma schinen dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ihre Mantel fläche eine zur mittleren Trommelquerebene sym metrische Kabeleinlegenut enthält, deren Enden par allel tangential auslaufen.
Eine dermassen ausgebildete Kabeltrommel er möglicht, ein Kabel in der Mitte zu biegen, diese Biegestelle in die genannte Nut einzulegen und die beiden Enden beim Drehen gleichzeitig lagenweise aufzuwickeln. Es kann so darauf verzichtet werden, in der Kabelrolle Stecker oder Schleifringe einzu bauen, um das auf ihr aufgewickelte Kabel über ein Zusatzstück mit der Maschine zu verbinden. Dieselbe Trommel kann auch auf eigenem Gestell unabhängig von einer bestimmten Maschine zur Aufwicklung von Verlängerungskabel verwendet werden.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel einer solchen Kabel trommel ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt. Es zeigen: Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht auf die Kabeltrommel, Fig.2 einen Schnitt nach der Linie II-II von Fig. 1, das heisst in der Symmetrieebene der Kabel trommel. Eine z. B. aus Holz bestehende Kabeltrommel 1 mit den Stirnflanschen 2 sitzt auf der Welle 3 und kann mit Hilfe der Kurbel 4 gedreht werden. Ihre Mantelfläche enthält eine zur mittleren Trom- melquerebene II-II symmetrische Kreisbogennut 5 zum Einlegen des Kabels 6.
Dia beiden Enden der Kreisbogennut laufen bei 50 parallel und tangential aus. Wenn das Kabel 6 in seiner Längsmitte gebogen und an dieser Biegestelle in die Nut 5 eingelegt wird, so können seine beiden Enden durch Drehen der Trommel 1 in Pfeilrichtung A lagenweise aufgewik- kelt werden.
Die Enden der Nut könnten auch an den Flan schen tangential auslaufen, wobei dann die Kabel enden gegen innen zu wickeln wären.
Rotatable cable reel According to the present invention, a rotatable cable reel for transportable electrical machines is characterized in that its jacket surface contains a cable insertion groove which is symmetrical with respect to the central transverse drum plane and the ends of which run tangentially in parallel.
A cable reel designed in this way enables a cable to be bent in the middle, this bending point to be inserted into said groove and the two ends to be rolled up in layers at the same time when rotating. There is no need to build plugs or slip rings in the cable reel in order to connect the cable wound on it to the machine via an additional piece. The same drum can also be used on its own stand independently of a specific machine for winding extension cables.
An embodiment of such a cable drum is shown in the drawing. 1 shows a plan view of the cable drum, FIG. 2 shows a section along the line II-II of FIG. 1, that is to say drum in the plane of symmetry of the cable. A z. B. made of wood cable drum 1 with the end flanges 2 sits on the shaft 3 and can be rotated with the help of the crank 4. Its jacket surface contains a circular arc groove 5 which is symmetrical to the central transverse drum plane II-II for inserting the cable 6.
Both ends of the circular arc groove run parallel and tangential at 50. If the cable 6 is bent in its longitudinal center and placed in the groove 5 at this bending point, both ends can be wound up in layers by rotating the drum 1 in the direction of arrow A.
The ends of the groove could also run out tangentially at the flanges, in which case the cable ends would have to be wound inwards.
