Thread delivery device for textile machines
There are yarn delivery devices for textile machines which comprise a rotating cylinder and an endless belt applied in a cylindrical sector against the cylinder, the delivery yarn passing between said belt and the cylinder, the linear speeds of which are equal to those sought for the cylinder. wire.
In these known delivery devices, the axes of the rollers over which the belt passes are carried either by fixed arms or by arms subjected to the spring action tending to separate them, in order to give the necessary tension to the belt.
The belt is therefore only driven by contact over a length limited by the drive cylinder, and the two rollers over which said belt passes are driven by it.
The present invention relates to a yarn delivery device for textile machines, in which the yarn passes between a drive cylinder and an endless belt applied along a cylindrical sector against said cylinder and moving on two rollers with parallel axes. This device is characterized in that these two rollers are mounted to rotate freely around their axes and are carried by a support which, during its movement in the direction of the driving cylinder, brings them into tangency with this cylinder, so that said rollers must be driven in rotation by the latter, with the interposition of the belt between the cylinder and the rollers.
The appended schematic drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the delivery device forming the subject of the invention.
The device shown comprises a drive cylinder 2 driven by a continuous rotational movement, 3 and 4 designating two rollers mounted free to rotate around two axes 5 and 6 respectively carried by arms 7 and 8 respectively. These are articulated around of axes 9 and 10 respectively carried by a common support 12 articulated around a fixed axis 13.
An endless belt 14 passes over the two rollers 3 and 4 and is intended to be applied to a part of the periphery of the driving cylinder 2, in order to ensure, in combination with this cylinder, the driving of the wire 15 which passes between them and must move in the direction of arrow 16.
The support arm 12 being capable of moving in a pivoting movement in the direction of arrows 17 and 18, a means not shown normally forces said arm 12 to move in the direction of arrow 18, that is to say towards the feed cylinder 2.
As can be seen, this movement of the arm 12 firstly results in an application of the belt 14 on the cylinder 2 at a point 19. If the aforementioned movement of the arm 12 in the direction of the arrow 18 continues, the strand The slack of the belt 14 is put under tension, and the two arms 7 and 8 supporting the two rollers 3 and 4 oscillate around the axes 9 and 10 respectively according to the arrows 21 and 22. The rollers 3 and 4 are thus brought into contact with the drive cylinder 2, with the interposition of the belt 14, under a pressure all the stronger as the pressure on the arm 12 is greater. It follows that the belt 14 is laminated between the cylinder 2 and the rollers 3 and 4, which ensures its perfect drive.
This delivery device has the advantage of ensuring an imperative drive of the wire 15 which passes between the drive cylinder 2 and the belt 14 and which moves along arrow 16 if the aforementioned cylinder rotates in the direction of arrow 23.
This imperative drive of the wire 15 is due to the fact that the angle α and therefore the length of contact between the belt 14 and the driving cylinder 2 are maximum.
In a variant, the support 12 of the two oscillating levers 7 and 8 can be driven not by an oscillating movement, but by a linear displacement movement. It is thus also that the axes 5 and 6 of the rollers 3 and 4 can be carried directly by the support 12, provided that the latter has grooves allowing the rollers 3 and 4 to move not only in rotation, but also in translation.
