Cylindrical roller bearing The invention relates to a cylindrical roller bearing, the rolling play of which can be regulated in the installed state. There are cylindrical roller bearings be known whose rolling play can be controlled by stretching the bearing inner ring on a tapered spindle. This design requires that the cones on the spindle and in the bearing inner ring are made exactly matching and that the wall thickness must be kept very strong in a hollow spindle at the expense of the spindle passage, so that a constriction when stretching the race is avoided.
Finally, time-consuming fitting work is necessary in order to bring the two bearing rings axially to the same height.
There is a spring treadmill serving as a steep race ring with a cylindrical inner and outer surface and also a spring treadmill with a cylindrical inner surface and a conical outer surface is known. Both designs are difficult to manufacture and cannot prevent edge pressures and career interruptions from occurring, which can easily lead to destruction, when the raceways running in the manner of screw turns between the axis or shaft and bearing body are narrowed.
Finally, an adjustable outer race in the form of an obliquely slotted to the axis and provided with incisions in the longitudinal direction ball socket is known, which still has the disadvantage that the inclined slot interrupts the runway and the adjustment is not exactly round and cylindrical.
The subject of the invention is a cylindrical roller bearing in which at least one race is designed as an elastic member, the characteristic of which is that the elastic race is provided on its inner and outer circumference with mutually offset radial recesses, through which the joint points, Disk spring-like support rings and locking rings are formed in such a way that when an axial force acts, the radial distance between the support surfaces and the running surfaces increases.
The shapes of the recesses can be the same or different. If they are the same among one another in a race, an expansion on all outer support surfaces or a narrowing on all inner raceways also takes place uniformly and very precisely. The number of recesses depends on the length of the roller body and the arrangement of the same. In order to obtain a particularly effective support from the raceway in the radial and axial direction, the locking rings used to engage an adjusting ring or to rest in the housing can be widened radially beyond the wall thickness of the hinge points.
A major advance here is that the production of the adjustable running ring is very simple and cheap, that it can be installed easily and quickly and the rolling play can be regulated at a standstill or while the spindle is running, so that the rolling play can be easily adjusted to the respective load case is possible.
In the drawing, an embodiment of a cylindrical roller bearing according to the invention is shown in an axial section. With 1 the Ge housing, with 2 the steep outer race, with 3 the spindle, with 4 the inner race, with 5 the thread ring, with 6 a spacer tube and 7 with the rolling body.
The upper half of the figure shows the raceway 2 in an untensioned state, that is to say with a few hundredths of a millimeter rolling play between the roller body and the raceways or between the housing bore and the outer surface. The lower half of the picture, on the other hand, shows the same raceway in a tensioned state, i.e. when all play between the housing bore and rolling elements has been eliminated.
The outer raceway 2 is provided with radial recesses 3 on its outer surface above the roller tracks and on its inner surface, axially offset by the dimension b from the outer recesses, with radial recesses 9 which extend over the entire circumference so that Between the outer and inner recesses, the support rings 10, the hinge points 12, 13 and the end rings 11 form.
If the threaded ring 5 is now tightened, the race 2 is supported with the end ring 11 on the housing contact surface 15, and since the recesses are axially ver by the dimension b, a change in length by the dimension a occurs and at the same time a plate spring-like deformation the support rings 10, until finally the cylindrical support surfaces 12 'above the hinge points 12 in the housing bore and the cylindrical running surfaces 13' below the hinge points 13 come to rest on the rolling elements.
When the threaded ring 5 is loosened, the race 2 springs back again. Any fluctuations in tolerance between the outer ring 2 and the housing bore or between the rolling elements 7 and the raceways can be easily controlled thanks to the simple adjustment facility. While the drawing shows a double-row cylindrical roller bearing with an adjustable outer race, the bearing outer ring for a single-row cylindrical roller bearing or needle bearing or, instead of the bearing outer ring, the bearing inner ring, or both can be made adjustable in a similar manner.
