Fig.2 ein Schaltbild des Gcrätes,

Device for the production of an X-ray diffraction polar diagram
The invention relates to a device for producing an X-ray diffraction polar diagram from an approximately flat specimen using a system for producing a bundled X-ray beam, a device for continuously rotating the specimen around a first axis and gradually rotating it around a second axis first vertical axis, a device for converting the X-rays diffracted by the specimen into a proportional electrical signal and finally a recording device with a printing device,
which allows to print different registration marks according to different intensity intervals of the electrical signal.
The invention represents a step forward in the technique of determining preferred vessel orientations of crystallites in materials by means of X-ray diffraction.
During the last few years, those methods in which Geiger counter spectrogoniometers are used for evaluating the X-ray diffraction have largely replaced the slower and quantitatively less precise photographic film recording technique for determining such preferred structural orientations, as is generally known .
Until now, however, the results obtained in such measurements are no longer available as a continuous line drawing on a recording strip. These curve values were then picked up from the registration strip, converted with a correction factor to compensate for the errors caused by the geometric arrangement varying effective thickness of the sample, and a polar coordinate diagram was then drawn with these corrected values.
The so-called polar image obtained in this way represents a graphic representation of the preferred orientation of the sample in stereographic projection, as they are all in common use. However, the device according to the invention is intended to provide this polar image directly.
The characteristic feature of the invention is that, synchronously with the movement of the material sample around the first axis, a circular register sheet rotatable around the center point is moved past under a pressure device of the register device, which marks the markings on the register corresponding to the intensity of the diffracted X-rays rierblatt prints that after a certain angle of rotation of the sample about the first axis, the sample is rotated by a certain angle of the second axis, at the same time the recording device a corresponding piece radially.
shifted to the paper disk and the constant of proportionality between the diffracted X-ray intensity and the electrical signal is changed in such a way that the absorption of the X-ray beam changed by the rotation of the material sample around the second axis is compensated.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the land in FIGS. 1 to 5 of the accompanying drawing. llierbei shows:
Fig. 1 is a partially schematic perspective view of the Polarbild-Registrierge rîtes,
Fig. 2 is a circuit diagram of the device,
3 shows an individual part of the device according to FIG. 1 in a schematic perspective illustration,
4 shows a schematic representation of the parts of the apparatus and
Fig. 5 is a schematic representation of one of the possible different tracks for recording the information.
The general arrangement of the parts of the apparatus used to produce polar images can best be seen in FIG.
As already mentioned, FIG. 4 shows a schematic representation of the parts and serves only to explain the apparatus. The X-ray device, for example a commercially available spectrogoniometer type XRD-S from the General Electric Company. or a corresponding other make, is marked with 1. It contains a source for bundled X-rays and a detector for this, for example a Geiger counter or the like, which supplies an electrical signal by means of an intensity meter, the magnitude of which is directly dependent on the X-ray dose received by the detector.
Since the details of such a device are well known, a more detailed description appears dispensable.
The device 2 denotes a device to which the signals of the Geiger counter of the spectrogonometer 1 are fed and which, by means of a Sehlcifdralit potentiometer or the like, adjusts a writing device relative to a predetermined position on a moving recording strip. For this purpose, a commercially available label pen from Leeds & Northrup or a similar device can be used, provided that it is suitable for a modification to be described in more detail.
I) device labeled 3 supplies a correction factor for the intensity of the signal coming from the Geiger counter to the strip chart recorder 2, for the purpose of compensating for the absorption errors that occur during the rotational movement of the sample for geometric reasons. which will be described in more detail.
1) The print control device 4 for the polar picture recorder supplies signals to operate its print head as a function of signals that come from the changed strip recorder. The control takes place via a pure normal relay and is only indicated schematically.
The actual polar image recorder, which is described in detail below vii-d. is denoted by 5.
Any suitable design can be used as the sample goniometer or the sample turntable 6, for example that of the USA patent q 2713125.
The details of the Polarbüdschrcibers will now be described with reference to FIG. The writer has a horizontally arranged, disk-shaped turntable (not shown) which carries a circular sheet 10 with a graduation 11 on the outer edge. The circular sheet 10 is attached to the Dreli table by means of a knurled nut 12 that can be screwed onto a threaded bolt in the center of the table and rotates with it. The turntable is driven by a motor 3 (Fig. 2) which can be reversed in the direction of rotation, the mode of operation of which will be explained in more detail below.
inc bracket, designated as a whole as 1a, and additional fastening parts attached to it carry the pressure mechanism. The printing process takes place with the aid of a print head 16, which has an approximately L-shaped support part 17, which is fastened longitudinally on the two parallel rods 19 and 20, the two rods 19 and 90 through openings in one of the legs of the L-shaped carrier 17 and through the Zlvisehenraum between both legs hindurehragen.
The drive shaft 18 is passed through an opening in the other leg of the carrier: part 17, as can be seen from FIG.
The rods 19, 20 and the shaft 18 are supported in an unchangeable mutual position by the plates 21 and 22, the two rods 19, 20 extending parallel to a radius of the turntable and at the same fixed distance. The carrier part 17 is resiliently pretensioned in the direction of the plate 22, specifically by a cord drum 23 which is tensioned in the direction of the arrow under the action of a spiral spring and to which one end of the rope 24 is attached.
The rope 24 runs over the rollers 25 and 26 and, as can be seen from FIG. 1, is attached to the support part 17.
The carrier part 17 is provided with a pin 27, which can be pressed into it and is pressed out again under the action of a spring into the position shown. The outer end of the pin 27 is beveled for reasons that will be explained below. The pin 27 acts as a stop and limits the longitudinal movement of the carrier part 17 on the rods 18, 19 and 20 in cooperation with one of the various collars 28 on the control shaft 29.
Each collar 28 has a beveled edge 30 and a Selilitz 31. The seat braids 31 of successive collars 28 are each shifted by an angle of 45¯ against each other, so that after each rotation of the Steucrwcllc 29 with the Vira'en 28 by an eighth of a turn in Pfeilriehtung the seat seat 31 of that collar 28 against which the pin 27 is pressed, with the pin 27 comes into engagement.
The spring-loaded cable 24 then moves the carrier part 17, so that the pin 27 is displaced inwardly with respect to the outer edge of the drelitiselles naeli until its movement is locked again by the next collar 28. doing this, the carrier part 17 can, as can be seen, occupy a plurality of predetermined positions and moves step-by-step from a starting position close to the edge of the circular sheet 10 to an end position close to the center of the same.
The control shaft 29 is rotated by 45 each Weil by a drive magnet 113, as will be described in more detail below. A thumb lever 32 is firmly attached to the support part 17, by means of which the support part 17 can be returned to its initial position on the edge of the circular sheet 10 by means of wel clum.
If, as indicated in FIG. 1, the thumb lever is pressed in the direction of the edge, the bevelled end edge of the collar 28, together with the conical end of the pin 27, causes it to be pressed into the carrier 17, so that the same effect can be seen as in the case of the toothing of a Ratsehc and the carrier 17 can be moved back into its initial position.
The imprint is made with an eight-surface pressure stamp 33, which can be set in eight different positions and is designed as a prism, the eight surfaces of which carry pressure elements which are different from one another. In the present special arrangement, however, only seven of the agate possible positions of the pressure stamp 33 are set up for printing, for which purpose, for example, each of the seven surfaces has a pen-like pressure element 34, suitable for printing a point or a mark of one each same color. The eighth position, which is not intended for an impression, is used to reset the device, which will be explained in detail later.
It should be mentioned, however, that the printing die 33 can also be designed in such a way that it prints individual numbers or symbols instead of the different colors. The plunger 33 is carried by two arms 35, 36 of a yoke-like frame which is rotatably mounted on the drive shaft 18 and rests on both sides of the support part 17 by means of the sliding bushes 37, 38, so that the frame for the plunger 33 is always together with the The support part 17 moves along the drive shaft 18. A disk 39 is provided with ink pads 40, each of which is soaked with a different colored ink and is each assigned to a specific pressure pin 34, from the gear mechanism, from the gears 41, 42, 43 and 44.
As can be seen from FIG. 1, the gear wheel 41 moves together with the eight-surface pressure ram 33 and drives the disk 39 with the transmission ratio l: l via the gear wheels 42, 43 and 44. Each of the I) is therefore colored by the ink pad 40 assigned to it.
The Kllsxvalll of the respective pressure pin 34 to be printed takes place by means of stepwise rotation of the drive shaft 18 on the part of a drive magnet 45, which is stranded with a riddle-like coupling element 46, which when the magnet 45 is excited, first engages in a suitable coupling disk 47 attached to the drive shaft 18, and then the drive shaft 18 is advanced one eighth of a revolution.
The drive magnet 45 is provided with a separating and stopping device which, after completing an eighth of a revolution of the drive shaft 18, interrupts the excitation of the drive magnet 45, enables the coupling member 46 to disengage from the coupling plate 47, and only then allows the drive magnet 45 to be re-energized until its anchor has returned to its initial position under the action of a tension spring (not shown in the drawing) inside. For this purpose, a Mitnelimerorgan 48 with an arm 49 and a cam 50 is available.
The coupling element 46 carries an actuating arm 51 which protrudes between the driver arm 49 and the cam 50 and actuates the two alternately. The drive magnet 45 is excited via the interrupter 52, the leaf spring 53 of which is prestressed in such a way that the interrupter contact. kt 52 is normally closed. On the leaf spring 53, a bead 54 is provided, through which the Noeke 50 opens the interrupter contact 52 when moving past and the excitation of the drive magnet 45 is interrupted.
The follower 48 is rotatably mounted on the drive shaft 18 and rubs against a housing part (not shown) so that it tries to maintain its respective position, regardless of the rotation of the drive shaft 18.
At the start of an excitation cycle, the breaker contacts 52 and the excitation circuit for the drive magnet 45 are closed. The coupling elements 46 and 47 interlock and the drive magnet 45 causes the drive shaft 18 to rotate one eighth of a turn, the actuating arm 51 then rests on the arm 49 and rotates the driver 48 until the cam 50 actuates the bead 54 and the interrupter spring 53 hodihebt, thereby opening the contact 52 and d making the drive magnet 45 currentless. The coupling elements 46 and 47 then disengage and the armature of the drive magnet 45 returns to its rest position under the action of a spring preload.
The breaker contact 52 is kept open by the Noeke 50 until the actuating arm 51 touches it and rotates it back into its starting position, the contact 52 closing. If the excitation current now flows again to the drive magnet 45, the excitation cycle is repeated. Thus, the drive shaft 18 rotates in the same direction of rotation in a Fol vox eight eighths of a turn.
I) Drive shaft 18 is provided with a groove 55 along its extension located between parts 21, 22. The print head 16 carries a gear consisting of the gears 56, 57 and 58, which is displaceable with it along the drive shaft 18 and the rods 19, 20 and transmits the rotary movement of the drive shaft 18 to the plunger 33 , for which the gear 56 has a coupling sleeve cooperating with the groove 55.
An eight-stage electrical gear lock 59 prevents the drive consisting of parts 47, 18, 56, 57 and 58 from moving backwards and furthermore ensures the exact printing position of the individual pressure pins 34 in each case.
A: As already mentioned, the pressure ram 33 and the associated parts are rotatably mounted on the drive shaft 18. The pressure ram 33 is under the action of a force on the part of the spring 60, which acts in the pressure direction (that is to say in the direction of a position in which the respective lowermost pressure pin 34 touches the sheet 10). Against this spring force, the push button 33 is held in the raised position by a longitudinally offset shaft 61. A pin 62 rests on the largely flat surface of the shaft 61, to which the lever 63 forming the continuation of the support arms: @ 5 and 36 belongs.
It should be mentioned that the point of contact between the pin 62 and the shaft 61 is eccentric to the shaft axis, so that with a slight rotation of the shaft 61 in the corresponding direction, the spring 60 moves the plunger 33 downwards and the Lowest pressure pin 34 is pressed onto the sheet 10, which results in an impression on the sheet. The WX ellc 61 is adjusted by a radial arm 64 which is biased upward by the helical spring 69 and the leaf spring 65. The leaf spring 65 held by the bolts 66 and 67 rests against the extension 68 of the radial arm 64.
In the position shown, the springs 65 and 69 counteract the spring 60 of the plunger 33 and lift the same from the sheet 10. The radial arm 64 can be moved downwards by the pull magnet 70 over the lug 71, counter to the action of the springs 65 and 69, whereby the shaft 61 is twisted somewhat and the plunger 33 is moved downwards by the spring 60. until the lowermost printing point 34 touches the sheet 10.
A limit switch 72 can be used to automatically shut down the device after the relevant sample has been completely checked. One under spring pretension. Long standing rod 73 trait an adjustable actuating arm 74 which, when it comes into contact with the support part 17, moves the rod 73 longitudinally and, via the limit switch 72, interrupts the electrical circuit of the device and brings it to a standstill.
On the print head 17 is a resilient tab 75 for smoothing the sheet 10 before each
Stamp 33 attached.
As already mentioned, the drive point IS and the rods 19 and 20 are parallel to one another and to a radius of the rotary table. But the rods have such a distance from. this radius, that the imprint of the pressure stamp takes place on this radius.
The associated electrical circuits and components will now be explained with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3.
The motos 1L is supplied with mains voltage, for example 110 volts and 60 IIz, via the lines 100 and 101 and rotates the sample holder 10? about an approximately horizontal axis at a predetermined speed via the snow screw drive 103.
The holder 102 is provided with at least one organ, for example the pin 104, for actuating a normally open contact 105. It should be mentioned, however, that the holder 102 can also be equipped with two such organs offset by 180 ° or with four such organs, each offset by 90, as indicated in FIG. The bracket 102 is configured to rotate on an approximately perpendicular axis of 5¯ to 5¯. A magnet 106, which is connected to the 24-volt supply lines 107, 108 by means of the lines 109, 110, is used for this purpose.
The switch 105 connects the lines 111 and 112, of which the line 111 is connected to the line 107 and the line 112 supplies the drive magnet 113 with current. The drive magnet 113 corresponds completely to the drive magnet 45, (is used to adjust the pressure head according to the different alpha angles of the sample and is provided with the same claw coupling. The line 114 completes the circuit of the drive magnet 113 and leads to the line 108.
The lines 115 and 116 connect the actuation winding 117 of a normal tap changer with the lines 112 and 108, respectively.
The lines 121 and 122 are connected to the Geiger counter and intensity meter of the X-ray spectrogoniometer 1 (FIG. 4) and the line 121 ends at one of the two input connections of the strip recorder 2. The line 122 leads to the connection 123 of the movable S @ hl @ ifers 124 of the tap changer.
This wiper 124 establishes the connection between the line 122 and the line 125 leading to the other input connection of the strip chart recorder 2 via one of the contacts 126, 129, 132, 135, etc., one of the resistors 127, 130, 133, 136 etc., and one of the lines 128, 131, 134, 137 etc., with switching @ from one contact to the next a @ - depending on the energization of the actuating magnet 117 each time.
Each of the resistances mentioned results in a correction for the changes in the intensity of the signal coming from the Geiger counter, in order to compensate for the geometric changes in the absorption of the sample when it rotates around the vertical axis, as a result of the changing path length of the R penetrating the sample being examined X-rays within the sample. The event of the strip writer 2 is thus changed in such a way that the deflection of the stylus across the strip is the same for the various alpha angles around the axis of rotation with the same intensity.
As shown in FIG. 3, the pen 171 of the strip chart recorder is moved over the recording strip by means of a cable 172 which is guided over the tubes 173, 174, 175 and 176 and which rotates the pulley 177 attached to the shaft 178. The position of the pen 171 is determined by a customary motor control system with a sliding wire plummet and automatic bridge adjustment, which is indicated schematically by 179. These toilets are easy to find on commercially available tape pens. The shaft 178 rotates the drum ISO consisting of seven or more practically identical soleils.
Each of the discs has a Noeke 1S1 on the outer edge, all of which are set up to actuate one of the push rods 182 when the drum 180 is in a certain angular position. These bumpers 182 each interact with a normally open switch 1S6 to 192 for the various intensity ranges, one of which is closed by the bumpers 182 when opening onto the associated cam 181, according to the different pen positions on the recording strips.
The polar recorder is provided with two mains voltage supply circuits, one of which is used to print and the other to rotate the circular sheet.
The circuit for actuating the truck process is. fed by a direct current source via lines 201 and 202.
The line 201 is located directly at one end of the field winding 203 of a drive magnet 4'5 for eight positions, the operation of which will be described in more detail below.
Line 202 is connected to one side of the normally open intensity ranges 186 to 192 via lines 204 to 210. The drive magnet 45 is connected to the drive shaft 18 (FIG. 1) and, per excitation, causes it to be adjusted by one half turn via the coupling elements 46, 47 (FIG. 1). The drive shaft 18 for its part adjusts the turntable 211, for example clockwise, in each case one eighth of a revolution.
The drive shaft 18 (FIG. 1) also causes the rotary movement of the plunger 33 by an eighth of a turn, as already described with reference to I 1. The turntable 211 is provided with seven edge contacts 212 to 218 at a distance of 45¯ from one another in the order of the reference numbers, so that there is a distance of 90¯ between the edge contacts 218 and 212. In the middle between the edge contacts 218 and 212, i.e. when the disk 211 is rotated clockwise by 45¯ behind the edge contact 212, there is a gap 219 of somewhat larger extent than the edge contacts 212 to 218 in the turntable 211. sell.
The disk 211 is provided with a connection 220 which establishes a connection between the disk 211 and the other end of the actuation winding 203 via the line 221, the normally closed contact 52 and the line 222. The normally closed contact 52 is opened via a driver, as already described above with reference to FIG.
I) ic intensity range dials 186 to 192 are connected to the contacts 223 to 229 via the lines 230 to 236 and a relay system only indicated at 4.
The only purpose of the relay system is to relieve the intensity range switches 186 to 192 by actually not directly controlling the mains voltage, but rather 24-volt relays, which in turn switch the final voltage of the drive magnet 45. 1, in the eighth contact 238 the rest position is present for the purpose of resetting m, the mode of operation of which will be described in more detail and which is connected via the line 239 to the push-pull magnet 70, the other end of which is via the line 241 on the line 202 is connected.
From Fig. 2 it can be seen that the contacts 223 to 229 and 238 are evenly distributed around the circumference of the disk 211. and with the exception of the contact that just hits the gap 219, they all come to rest on an edge contact of the selector 211. A time delay switch of conventional design is connected with its drive motor 242 by means of lines 243 and 244 to lines 239 and 241, respectively, and serves a purpose which will be explained in more detail.
Its switching contact 245, which is actuated with a time delay by the motor 242, is connected to the lines 246 and 247 on the lines 243 hzsv 241 and is used to short-circuit the magnet 70.
The circuit for actuating the drive for the circular blade on the rotary table is fed by a direct current source, for example 110 volts, via lines 250 and 251. The drive magnet 113, controlled by the holder 105, rotates the shaft 29 with the collar 28 in stages by 45 ′ each, as already described above.
The wiper 252 rotates with the shaft 29 and is fed via the line 250. Around the wiper 252, eight contact points 253 to 260 are evenly distributed, that is to say they are contacted by the wiper 252 in sequence when the shaft 29 rotates. The contact points 253, 255, 257 and 259 are connected to one another via the line 261, as are the contact points 254, 256, 258 and 260 via the lines 262.
These lines 261 and 262 are connected via the lines 263 and 264 to the connections 265 and 266, respectively, on a polarity reversal switch 267. The lines 270 and 271 connect the middle connections of the holder 267 to the reversible motor @ ', which is au It is also connected to feed line 251.
It should be mentioned that the selection or the translation of the motors JL and M 'takes place in such a way that with a full rotation of the sample holder' 102 by 360 on the part of the rotor 11, in the same time a 360 'rotation of the Motor 3F driven turntable for the pie chart 10 takes place.
The operation of the recorder and associated equipment will now be described in detail. An unused circular sheet 10 is attached to the Dr @ htiseli. The print copy 16 is brought into its initial position close to the edge of the registration sheet. The specimen holder 102 is brought into the position corresponding to the initial alpha angle with respect to the impinging X-rays, then adjusted about its horizontal axis in the normal twisting direction until the actuating member 104 just allows the switch 105 to open.
The sample goniometer and the polar recorder are set into operation at the same time and the polarity reversal switch 267 is brought into that position so that, for example, the turntable is rotated clockwise.
The deflected X-rays are received by the Geiger counter and produce a signal, the strength of which varies with the two angles of the sample in the goniometer, on the lines 121, 122 and reaches the strip chart recorder 2, where it is subjected to the intensity correction. The step switch 124 is in its initial position, that is to say on the contact 126. Since the resistors 127, 130, 133 etc. of the intensity correction have already been set in advance so that a corresponding correction is made depending on the alpha angle on the sample, the signal from the Geiger counter in resistor 127 is corrected accordingly, and only this corrected signal is sent to strip chart recorder 2.
The drive for the pen 171 (fig. 3) of the chart recorder 2 rotates the shaft 178 as a function of the corrected signal, and the cams 18l approach or move away from the associated push rods 182, of which the respectively assigned intensity ranges - switches 186 to 192 can be operated.
It is assumed that the slider 252 is on the contact 253 and the circuit for the turntable motor M 'closes via the line 250, the wiper 252, the contact 253, the line 263, the connection 265, the switch 267, the line 270, the motor M 'and the line 251, so that the lIotor JI'liiiiiert and the Drelitiscli iiii moves clockwise.
It is also assumed that the intensity range switch ISS is closed by the associated bumper 182, and that the disk 211 is in its initial position with the gap 219 at the location of the contact 236. Then there is a current flow via line 232, contact 225, disk 211, connection 220, line 221, break contact, 52, line 222 and winding 203 to line 201. The drive magnet 45 is excited and causes an eighth of a turn of the disk 211 in the Clockwise.
After completion of this eighth turn, the driver 48 opens the normally closed contact 52 and interrupts the energizing circuit, whereupon the armature of the drive magnet 45 kellrt back into its rest position, but because of the disengagement of the coupling elements 46, 47 the disk 211 in the reached position remains. When the drive magnet 45 returns to its rest position, the coupling arm 51 adjusts the driver 48 in such a way that the rest contact 52 closes again.
Since the contact 225 continues to touch an edge contact of the disk 211, the drive magnet 45 is energized again and the switching process continues until the gap 219 has gradually reached the contact 225, in which case then despite the return of the drive magnet 45 45 the rest position and the closure of the contact 52, the circuit between the contact 225 and the disk 211 remains interrupted. It should be noted that at the beginning of the whole process, the gap 219 was opposite the contact 238, that is, its circuit was interrupted.
After the first response of the drive magnet 4, the circuit from the line 201, Wieklung 203, line 222, normally closed contact 52, line 221, connection 220, disk 211, contact 238, line 239 is established via contact 238 and one of the edge contacts 218 to 214 , Pull magnet 70 and line 241 closed to line 202, which runs parallel to the circuit described above be. As long as this first-mentioned circuit remains closed, a current that is not sufficient to excite it flows through the attracting magnet 70.
However, as soon as the first-mentioned circuit is opened through the gap 219 at contact 225, when the normally closed contact 52 closes, the attraction magnet 70 receives the full excitation current, pulls the print head downward and causes the selected color pen or a number to be printed The time-delayed switch 245 is normally open, but a short time after the excitation of the pull magnet 70 it responds and connects the lines 239 and 241, whereby the pull magnet 70 is short-circuited and the print head is lifted from the sheet 10.
However, the circuit for the drive magnet 45 is now closed via the line 238 and, as a result of the attraction magnet 70 short-circuited by the switch 245, a sufficient excitation current flows so that the drive magnet 45 begins to work again and the disk 11 rotates to a certain extent, until the gap 219 reaches its starting position at contact 238, opens this circuit and thus lets the timer drop and return to its rest position. The whole process can then start all over again if the intensity range switch 188 or another of these switches 186 to 192 is closed.
As a result of the changing intensity of the signals, various of the intensity switches 186 to 192 are closed in the course of the zoit, so (let the plunger take different positions accordingly and in the course of the rotary movement of the recording sheet different symbols or colors are printed.
If only one actuator 104 is provided. Thus, after completing one revolution of the sample, the registration sheet 10 has also made a full rotation of 360¯, whereby many impressions were registered, depending on the closure of the intensity range switch 1S6 to 192. At the end of the full revolution, the actuating element 104 closes the switch. ter 105 and excites the magnet 106, the sample holder 102 around its vertical axis by a predetermined angle. for example 5¯, adjusted.
At the same time, the winding 117 of the stepped age is energized and moves the wiper 124 into another position, for example from contact 126 to contact 129.
Hence, the signals from the Gcger counter are no longer corrected by a predetermined factor in resistor 130 that corresponds to the new effective sample thickness.
At the same time, the drive magnet 113 is also excited and rotates the shaft 29 by 45 ′, as a result of which the print head is displaced in the radial direction by a distance corresponding to the changed alpha angle of the sample holder 102. The Selileifer 252 moves from the contact 253 to the contact 254, so that the direction of rotation of the motor M 'is reversed, its circuit now from the line 250 via the wiper 252, contact 254, line 262, line 264, connection 266, Switch 267 and line 271 to motor M 'and line 251 runs.
It should be noted here that the turntable can also be moved continuously in one direction during the entire measurement, if necessary by eliminating the cyclically operating reversing switch with the connections 252 to 262 and the line 250 directly with a connection of the polarity reversal switch 267, for example with 266. There are more possibilities for this.
In the present exemplary embodiment, for example, a socket holder can be used whose center connection is connected to line 250 and whose outer connection is connected to loop 252 or to connection 266. However, it does not seem necessary to represent this simple measure in a visual image.
The advantage of changing the direction of rotation of the rotor 31 ′ is the possibility of only registering the information in one or in two quadrants of the circular sheet, with four or two actuators 104 being used for the switch 105. If only one actuating member 104 is used, the recording sheet can continuously rotate in the same direction of rotation. 5 shows a schematic representation of a circular sheet 10 with the path covered by the print head in the presence of four actuating members 104, each 90 spaced apart on the sample holder 102, in which case only one quadrant is printed on the registration sheet.
It is clear that such a recording is particularly useful if the sample to be examined has a corresponding symmetry on wh. If only two actuation organs 104 offset by 180 are present, the circular arc-shaped traces of FIG. 5 naturally extend over two quadrants of the registration sheet 10.
