Bell spinning or bell twisting machine The present invention relates to a flask spinning or bell twisting machine.
Known machines of this type are mainly set up so that their bell is attached to the upper end of the spindle so as to be axially displaceable and are taken along by the rotating spindle. The thread to be twisted is with. light wraps down over the smooth jacket of the bell and fed to the take-up body on the twisting spindle via the differently designed end face of the bell, which also acts as a thread brake. Unfortunately, in practice, this bell has not yet achieved the importance it will have to come because difficulties arise when using higher speeds.
Since the thread slides over the outer surface of the bell, if a certain number of revolutions is exceeded, it forms a balloon that is so large that it collides with the balloon of the neighboring bell. In addition, the increased air friction causes thread tensions that go beyond what is permitted and lead to thread breaks. Another disadvantage was that it was very difficult to brake the bell when the spindle was turned off. The exact adherence to a certain thread tension is not possible with the known bells because the thread braking devices are missing. Attempts have been made to achieve greater friction by widening the surface on the face of the bell.
But the desired success could not be fully achieved. It often happens that the package on the spindle at low speeds is wound so loosely that only part of its target weight is reached. When the thread breaks, it could be observed that most of the thread broke immediately after the delivery roller. The reason for this is to be found in the fact that the thread is only rotated directly in front of the spindle due to the spindle giving it rotation and thus becomes insensitive to thread tension. Immediately behind the delivery roller, the thread has little or no rotation and is therefore so sensitive to increased thread tensions that it breaks.
In the machine according to the invention who the identified difficulties eliminated by the fact that the thread is fed through a hollow axis to the interior of a driven bell and via a runner guided on the rotating spinning ring to the winding body arranged on a separately driven spindle, with a at the bottom of the Bell attached, rotating guide plate gives the incoming piece of thread a pre-rotation up to the delivery roller.
In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in an axial section.
The hollow axis 1 of the bell is attached to the housing cover 2 of the electric motor 3 and carries the actual bell 5 on bearings 4. At the bottom 6 of the bell 5, a guide plate 7 is attached, which gives the thread 8 a pre-rotation Spinning or twisting ring 9 attached to bell 5 serves to guide the rotor 10. The interior of bell 5 is denoted by 11.
The bell device described works as follows: The thread 8 is guided through the hollow shaft 1 and the guide plate 7 into the interior 11 of the gloelze 5 and onto the winding body (not shown) via the rotor 10 which is slidably attached to the spinning or twisting ring 9 guided to the spindle, not shown. When the machine is started up, the thread 8 circles around the spinning or
Twist ring 9 guided rotor 10 the spindle according to its speed, reduced by the number of thread windings. The electric motor driven, mutumlaufende bell 5 rotates at a lower speed than the spindle, so that the friction between the spinning or twisting ring 9 and rotor 10 is just enough to achieve the desired thread tension when winding. By guiding the thread 8 in the guide plate 7, the thread 8 is immediately given a pre-rotation up to the delivery roller, which is arranged only at a low height above the bell 5. The most advantageous differentiation of the speeds between spindle and bell 5 takes place, for.
B. in that the spindle and .Glocke 5 are equipped with pole-changing electric motors and the electrical values z. B. the current value, the current type or the current direction can be changed. For example, the motor of the bell 5 is with. work with a higher percentage slip than the motor of the spindle.
