Die zur Erreiehung der genannten Zwecke wesentlichen Merkmale der vorliegenden Er findung sind darin zu erblicken, dass eine mindestens den einen der Stellmotoren mit umfassende Anordnung von Rechengeräten derart. ausgebildet ist, dass sie ein Differen- tialgleichungssystem zwischen mindestens einer der zeitlich veränderlichen polaren Ein stellkoordinaten und deren zeitlichen Ablei tungen direkt nachbilden und die Stellmoto ren entsprechend steuern;
Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung wer den im folgenden an Rand. der beiliegenden Zeichnung erläutert. Es zeigen: Fir. 1 eine räumlich anschauliche Dar stellung der Voraussetzungen, Fig. 2 die Ansicht eines optischen Richt- gerätes für Fliegerabwehr-Feuerleitanlagen. mit ;Mess- und Korrekturorganen für das Azi- mut, die Elevation und die Schrägdistanz, Fig. 3 ein Schaltungs- und Rechenschema für die CTeradflugsteuerung des Gerätes nach Fit;

Es gelten dann augenscheinlich die Beziehungen a2 - a1 <I>= an =</I> fi (t, <I>k,</I> v), A2-Al= /:
D <I>=</I> f <I>2</I> (t, k, v), rz <I>-</I> r1 <I>=</I> rD <I>=</I> f3 (t, k, v), wobei die sieh ergebenden Differenzwerte Funktionen der Zeit t, der Lage der Flug bahnkurve k im Raum und der Bahngeschwin digkeit v sind.
Mit diesen Werten ergeben sieh aus Fig. 1. folgende Beziehungen: (1) r, . sin A, <I>=</I> h, <I>=</I> ho -f- VZ <I>. t</I> (2) r, . cos A, .
cos at = d.

in folgender Weise
EMI0005.0010
In allen der Fig. 3 bis 7 sind für die einzelnen Einstellkoordinaten<I>a,</I> A., <I>r</I> soge- nannte NVeg-CTeschwindigkeitssteuerungen vor gesehen.
EMI0007.0019
EMI0008.0001
die in den Gleichungen Ia, <I>Ir</I> und IA ange schrieben sind, über Korrekturglieder P in geschwächtem Mass auf die Stellmotoren für die a-, <I>r- bzw.</I> ;
Fig. 3 stellt also eine von allen drei Stellmotoren für die drei Einstell koordinaten aus beeinflusste Anordnung von Rechenelementen dar, welche dazu bestimmt ist, das Differentialgleiehungssystem Ia, <I>Ir,</I> I., welches die drei Einstellkoordinaten bzgr. deren zeitliche Ableitungen allein enthält, zu realisieren und die drei Stellmotoren entspre- ehend zu beeinflussen,
Straightening device The present invention relates to a straightening device - e.g. B. a radar or a theodolite - for the constant sighting of a freely moving target, z. B. from an observation point, i.e. H. the place of installation, the straightening device.
The invention relates to a straightening device, which has at least one servomotor, which can be infinitely influenced with respect to its output speed, for moving an organ and means influencing an assigned setting coordinate, e.g. B. includes handwheels for influencing the servomotors in the sense of reducing the resulting setting errors.
For example, optical rectifiers are known which consist of a combination of a theodolite and an optical rangefinder and servomotors to change the polar setting coordinates, namely the azimuth a, the elevation A, and the inclined distance r to the targeted target with respect to a through have a specific polar coordinate system for the installation site of the device.
Such devices are often provided with speed control units by adjusting the adjustment speeds

the <SEP> one, 1, illcoordinate values, <SEP> d. <SEP> b.
<SEP> the <SEP> trifle, ie the <SEP> of the <SEP> relevant <SEP> servomotors, are left at a constant value in each case until the setting error increases, as indicated by an observer for the corresponding Setting coordinate is established, proves necessary to correct the adjustment speed by actuating a correction element so that this setting error is reduced again in the next observation phase.
There are also fully automatic straightening devices, in particular radar devices, be known, which are able to actively pursue a target by having measuring means to determine the setting errors and automatically operating organs to influence the servomotors in the sense of reducing the setting errors.
For example, if a target were to move at a constant path speed on a horizontal circular path around the zenith axis of the observation point, the servomotor for azimuth a could continue to run at the same output speed, while the servomotors for elevation? and each would have to stand still at a certain rotational position for the visual distance.
Now, however, this assumption presupposes a special case, which in practice hardly ever occurs even approximately. It is much more likely that a free-flying target will fly past the observation point in an approximately straight line, as modern airplanes and rockets in particular have such high orbital speeds that even turning flights of such missiles correspond much more precisely to a straight pass than to a horizontal circular movement around the zenith axis.
Accordingly, it is desirable that the straightening device contains means which allow control values for the servomotors to be obtained from brief tracking of the target object, which influence their output speeds in such a way that the changes in the setting coordinates allow the target to continue flying in a straight line in the direction and correspond to the speed of the previous observation phase.
In this case, correction variables would only have to be introduced if the observed target deviated from this straight-line extrapolation trajectory.
This goal has already been almost achieved on a trial basis in connection with field control systems for anti-aircraft guns. The polar coordinates <I> r, a, </I> A of the targeted object, which are continuously determined in the straightening device, are converted into changing Cartesian coordinates x, y, z by a transformation system. The rates of change x, y *,
z of these cartesian coordinates are determined and after smoothing (mean value determination) these values can be multiplied by. the lead variables 4x, 4y, <I> dz </I> are determined for each time value corresponding to the maximum flight time.
By adding these reserve values to the coordinate values <I> x, </I> y, z, the point of impact coordinates xt, yt, zt can be calculated in advance.
(Such computing devices for fire control systems have been described in detail in the older patent no. 342582.) An additional reverse transformation device enables the determination of the polar point of impact coordinates from the Cartesian coordinates and these precalculated polar point of impact coordinates can be used for this, as can the straightening device to be controlled accordingly. .
However, this type of reverse control of a straightening device for straight flight is afflicted with noticeable delays and requires that all three polar coordinate values are actually continuously determined. The required computing system is necessarily composed of a transformation system for converting polar to Cartesian coordinates, a computing group in Cartesian coordinates and an inverse transformation system for recovering polar coordinates.
The present invention enables. an essential simplification in this regard and, above all, facilitates the adaptation to the special circumstances of various problems. So strives. above all, they do without the help of an auxiliary coordinate system and accordingly need neither a transformation nor an inverse transformation system.
Furthermore, the invention is intended to enable a feedback device for rectilinear target object movements in which the introduction of correction values for a specific setting coordinate does not affect the other setting coordinates. The invention is also intended to create the prerequisite for the fact that individual polar coordinates can be controlled by themselves or combinations of only two instead of all three setting coordinates so that their changes correspond to a straight-line pass of the target.
The essential features of the present invention to achieve the stated purposes can be seen in the fact that at least one of the servomotors with a comprehensive arrangement of computing devices in such a way. is designed that they directly simulate a differential equation system between at least one of the time-variable polar setting coordinates and their time derivatives and control the actuating motors accordingly;
wherein the differential equation system corresponds to the straight onward flight of the targeted target object in the direction and to the speed of the respective temporally preceding movement phase.
It has shown that for the case of a straight flight with constant CTespeed, there are relatively few differential calibrations either in all three polar coordinates and their time derivatives, in only two of them. for example the azimuth and the elevation, or only in each individual polar coordinate and its derivatives, which can be solved by automatically working arrangements of computing elements.
which include the servomotors for the co-ordinate values used, that is to say are influenced by them on the one hand and influence these servomotors on the other.

For the sake of simplicity, it is assumed that the target to be tracked flies approximately horizontally, Fig. R shows a view and arithmetic scheme for a straight target movement in the horizontal plane.
According to FIG. 1, a missile moves on a straight flight path k at a uniform speed. In the permanently selected observation point: t 0, a straightening device is set up for constant sighting of the stated target. The vertical, for example oriented to the north,

To make the changes in the coordinate values visible, the triangle 0K111'1 has been rotated into the plane of the triangle OKZK'L and drawn in this plane as the triangle OK, K'1.
The relationships a2 - a1 <I> = an = </I> fi (t, <I> k, </I> v), A2-Al = / then obviously apply:
D <I> = </I> f <I> 2 </I> (t, k, v), rz <I> - </I> r1 <I> = </I> rD <I> = < / I> f3 (t, k, v), where the resulting difference values are functions of time t, the position of the trajectory curve k in space and the Bahngeschwin speed v.
Based on purely mathematical operations, differential equation systems between the continuously measured polar coordinates <I> a, </I>? Can be used for straight flights with constant orbital speed. and <I> r </I> and their time derivatives a,) and <I> r </I> or a, .1 and r etc.
To facilitate the derivation of the differential equations listed below, reference is made to the finger. 1 referenced relationships.
In Fig. 1, the intersection point K "of the trajectory 7c with the zenith plane Z is drawn, the azimuth a" has the value o (Z is the reference plane for measuring the azimuth). The oblique distance of point K ,, from. Observation point 0 from has the value r ″, and the height of this point K ″ above the horizontal plane H has. the value h ",. The horizontal distance of point K" from point 0 has the value do. It is assumed that see the missile in.

The components of the airspeed in the horizontal plane or in the vertical direction have the value VH = V cos d or VZ = V sin ö (ö = INT inclination angle of the flight path 1c with respect to the horizontal plane).
The angle between the speed vector V and the connection r "<I> = OK, </I> measured in the roof plane determined by the trajectory k and the point of origin 0, is denoted by x.
At some point in time t the missile will be at a point with the polar coordinates at, i, and rt, where. with h.t its instantaneous height above the horizontal plane H and with x the angle between r "and k.
With these values, see FIG. 1, the following relationships result: (1) r,. sin A, <I> = </I> h, <I> = </I> ho -f- VZ <I>. t </I> (2) r,. cos A,.

Furthermore, the following equation, which is generally valid for straight flight, results from the relationships (3) and (4):
EMI0005.0002
The latter differential equation is simplified for the case of a horizontal flight, that is, under the condition that the angle of inclination δ (see FIG. 1) between the trajectory curve k and a horizontal plane assumes the value zero, in the following form
EMI0005.0006
For a straight-line movement occurring in the horizontal plane FI, for example an armored car, the equations Yes) and (Ir) are simplified.
in the following way
EMI0005.0010
While all polar coordinate values are linked to one another in the system of equations I, the system of equations 1I is characterized in that only the individual coordinate values and their derivatives are linked to one another in one equation. Equation 1112 or its simplification III * a is. an example of the combination of the azimuth values and the elevation values or the derivatives of these values in an equation.
All left-hand sides of the equations have the value zero, provided that the quantities used in these left-hand sides have the correct value for straight flight. to have. If this requirement is not yet met, correction values <I> da, </I> d <I> r </I> and <I> d 1 </I> with corresponding coefficients must be introduced, as with every equation through the after or _. . . written correction member is indicated. In many cases, these correction values can be ignored because they only have to be used if the targeted target object is not flying precisely in a straight line and / or is being tracked imprecisely.
For the coefficients
EMI0005.0027
The following applies to the correction variables:, a = proportionality factor, T = unit of time (seconds), x = appropriate exponent for producing the dimensional equation. These coefficients
EMI0005.0034
put up to the. Factor a represents reciprocal time constants.
In the straightening device, in which the calculations are simulated by means of electrical analogy computing elements, in which all equation values are electrical voltages, these coefficients are practically pure proportionality factors.
In Fig. 2, a straightening device is shown, welehes consists of the combination of a Theodo lite and an optical distance meter (telemeter). The platform 1 can be rotated about a vertical shaft with respect to the stationary base 2, so that the azimuth a can be changed.
A horizontal support shaft 4 for the optical instruments, in particular a telemeter 5, is rotatably mounted in the columns 3 standing on the platform 1. There are three eyepieces 6, 7, 8, each of which is assigned to an observer for a specific polar setting coordinate.
The azimuth observer is assigned the eyepiece 6 and a manual correction wheel 60, which he only then operates. if he finds in his eyepiece that the azimuth a of the targeted missile does not correspond to the azimuth set on the device.
In the same way, the elevation observer on the handwheel 70 corrects the elevation 2 set on the device if it detects an adjustment error in this coordinate. The eyepiece 8 and the handwheel 80 are assigned to the distance observer. All adjustments of the organs to influence the setting coordinates are carried out by servomotors which are continuously controllable with respect to their output speed and which are built into the other structures of the straightening device.
FIG. 3 shows a computation and connec tion scheme for the straight flight reverse steering of a straightening device according to FIG. 2. The individual organs are shown schematically in the simplest possible way.
The units labeled 111 are servomotors which are intended to rotate their output shaft at a speed that is proportional in amount and direction to a control voltage preferably supplied via an amplifier. It is known that such servomotors also include a tachometer generator arranged on the motor shaft, not shown here, which returns a voltage proportional to the actual speed to the amplifier, also not shown, so that the entire servomotor unit is stabilized.
An excitation voltage of a certain phase position of constant amplitude and the same frequency as the control voltage is also fed to the servomotor unit in addition to the control voltage.
In addition, tachometer generators G are shown in the schematic drawings, which generate an output voltage that corresponds in magnitude and sign to the product of an AC input voltage (usually a voltage 1 of constant unit amplitude) with the rotational speed of the drive shaft. The training of such speedometer generators can also be assumed to be known. Another group of arithmetic elements sits on each one of a servomotor: 1T driven mechanical shaft, the setting angle of which changes according to any time function.
These arithmetic units have the task of multiplying an input voltage supplied to them by a specific function of the angle of rotation of their drive shaft. The members X multiply the amplitudes of their input voltages with the positive or negative angle of rotation of their drive shaft measured in relation to an initial position, while members 1 / X also use their input voltages. Multiply the reciprocal value of the drive shaft angle of rotation. Such Rechenele elements are known per se; it can be, for example, potentiometer resistors with corresponding characteristics or computing capacitors.
Other return elements, which are designated with sin X, eos <I> X </I> or tg <I> X </I>, multiply their input voltage with the sine or cosine or the tangent of their drive shaft angle of rotation and also the like arithmetic organs are well known.
The addition elements marked with + add two or more input voltages according to their magnitude and sign, so that their output voltages represent the algebraic sum of their input voltages. They are also known per se.
- are sign reversal elements, which are intended to multiply the input voltages by the value - 1, and practically represent phase inversion elements.
Finally, correction elements P are still used, which allow their input voltage to be reduced to an adjustable degree and possibly to be delayed in order to reduce the effect of their output voltage on the following arithmetic unit. It can be a voltage divider; They are primarily used to influence the output voltages of the tachometer generators. The last type of arithmetic unit is differential gear D with two input shafts and one output shaft, which are intended to mechanically add the angles of rotation of their input shafts.
1 #. It is provided that all voltages used are alternating voltages of a certain and constant frequency, the amplitude of which is written on the transmission lines, which are only drawn as single-pole, either with the constant reference value 1 or with the value resulting from the influence of the arithmetic units. Negative size designations mean that the corresponding voltage with regard to its phase position is rotated by 180 compared to the positive normal values. The input voltages of the computing elements are indicated by arrows pointing to the relevant elements.
The meanings of the angles of rotation of the rotating shafts denoted by double lines are indicated by underlined symbols, e.g. B.
EMI0007.0007
and here the input variables are also marked by arrows.
In all of FIGS. 3 to 7, so-called NVeg-C speed controls are provided for the individual setting coordinates <I> a, </I> A., <I> r </I>.
For example, an adjustment motor: 17 drives its output shaft for azimuth a at constant speed as long as its control voltage remains unchanged in terms of magnitude and sign. This tax margin thus has the dimensional value
EMI0007.0019
while then the angle of rotation of the output shaft corresponds to the azimuth a.
A correction value <I> da </I> of the azimuth can be set on a handwheel 60, which is added to the angle of rotation a of the motor output shaft in a differential gear so that the angle of rotation of the output shaft of the differential gear corresponds to the value <U> a </ U> -I- <U> da </U> corresponds. This shaft can, for example, be the rotary shaft of the platform 1 of the hight device according to FIG. 2, or it can be designed as a control shaft for a servomotor of the azimuth coordinate, with its rotary position also being transmitted to the servomotor in question via a so-called electrical intermediate shaft can.
On the shaft of the hand wheel 60 sits a tachometer generator G, the output voltage of which is proportional to the speed of the handwheel shaft concerned. Since the observer will naturally try to correct rapidly changing setting errors of the azimuth by quickly turning the handwheel, while he only turns the handwheel slowly with slowly increasing setting errors, the output voltage da of the tachometer generator provides a correspondingly adjusted correction variable for the control voltage a of the relevant Servomotor.
It is reduced to an adjustable extent in a correction element I and added to the control voltage a in an addition element -f- so that the speed of the servomotor is also corrected accordingly.
The same path-speed controls are also provided in all FIGS. 3 to 7 for the variables and r, the handwheels 70 and 80 serving to introduce the correction values _! 1 R and <I> _d r </I> and the Output shafts of the relevant differential gear D either directly adjust the elevation shaft 4 or the ver sliding prism in the telemeter 5 or can act as control shafts for servomotors of these organs.
The visual structure according to FIG. 3 corresponds to the equation system Ia, Ir, <B> 12, </B>, as can be readily read from the entered reference values. On the other hand, the corresponding differential equations are only zero if the intended target has been pursued for a sufficiently long period of time by actuating the handwheels and is really moving on a straight trajectory at constant Bahngeschwin speed.
As if from Fig. 3 can be seen. also become the values
EMI0008.0001
which are written in the equations Ia, <I> Ir </I> and IA, via correction elements P to a weakened degree on the servomotors for the a, <I> r and </I>;
- Waves are transmitted so that these quantities are also influenced by the corrections. Fig. 3 thus shows an arrangement of computing elements influenced by all three servomotors for the three setting coordinates, which is intended to provide the differential equation system Ia, Ir, I. whose time derivatives alone contain, to realize and to influence the three servomotors accordingly,
so that the three output shafts of these servomotors rotate in such a way that the temporal changes in their rotational positions correspond to a straight-line further flight of the targeted object in the direction and speed of the preceding movement phase. The handwheels 60, 70, 80, the associated tachometer generators G and correction elements P can be used to introduce the necessary correction variables to reduce the setting errors resulting from inaccurate tracking or non-uniform straight-ahead flight of the target .
4, 5, 6, which represent the Einrichtun conditions for solving the differential equations IIr or ILa or IU, servomotors for a or r or -waves are provided, which on the one hand as control voltages Sums of the left equation sides and also correction values reduced via correction terms P.
EMI0008.0023
are fed.
Devices according to FIGS. 4, 5, 6 can each serve for the reverse control of one setting coordinate on their own, which results in the advantage that correction values for one coordinate do not influence the other coordinates. In addition, devices according to these figures can also be used for straightening devices in which not all three polar coordinates, but, for example in the case of a theodolite, only the azimuth a and the elevation @ alone,
or with certain radar devices only the azimuth and the visual distance r can be measured.
In the examples according to FIGS. 4-6, an arrangement of arithmetic elements is assigned to each servomotor for a certain setting coordinate, which is influenced by this servomotor and, on the other hand, a control voltage for this in the sense of realizing the setting coordinate in question or the differential equation containing its temporal derivatives alone, which corresponds to a straight-line flight of the targeted target in the direction and speed of the previous movement phase.
(Equations IIa or IIr or IU.) The means for introducing the correction variables are also shown here.
The embodiment according to FIG. 7 applies to a special case in which it is a matter of controlling the elevation i set on the aiming device so that its temporal changes correspond to a horizontal flight in a straight line of the targeted object. Using the control values a and a, which can be obtained, for example, from a special azimuth control according to FIG. 5, the differential equation III '\ @ can be solved by the circuit arrangement according to FIG.
If the targeted target does not fly horizontally, more manual correction values 4) # must be introduced accordingly. This exemplary embodiment is particularly suitable for straight flight control of a theodolite in which the inclined distance r is not measured.
The azimuth setting is in accordance with equation IIa according to FIG. 4 alone in itself backward and the resulting total expenditure on computing elements is wesent Lich less than the combination of FIGS. 5 and 6 together, which would perform the same task for straight flights of any inclination.
The embodiment according to FIG. 7 thus corresponds to the case where an arrangement of reehen elements is influenced by the changes mveier certain polar setting coordinates and is intended to realize a differential equation IIh containing the two setting coordinates or their temporal derivatives alone and one of the To influence servomotors, namely the servomotor for the elevation a, so that this coordinate changes in the sense of a straight flight of the target object.
8 relates to an advantageous control device for a straightening device which tracks the movements of a target in the horizontal plane. The equations I '* r and I * a are then combined.
The arrangement of computing elements shown in FIG. 8 is influenced by two servomotors depending on the changes in two setting coordinates, namely the azimuth a and the inclined distance r, and these servomotors are controlled by this arithmetic element arrangement in the sense of fulfilling the system of equations that the setting coordinates influenced by the servomotors change in accordance with a straight-line flight to the targeted destination.
In all of the embodiments shown, the correction values d 2 ,, da and <I> dr </I> or the values d @, <I> da </I> and <I> dr </I> could be different than shown in the arrangements of arithmetic units who introduced the.
It would also be possible to determine the setting errors automatically working organs such. B. Differential photocells or electrical error display elements, such as are used, for example, in self-approaching target radars, to use and to introduce their initial values into the computing arrangement.
Per se, all computing elements could also be designed purely mechanically, with the servomotors, for example, as combinations of motors running at constant speed and continuously adjustable output gears. By introducing the auxiliary variable
EMI0009.0025
i.e. the angular velocity of the target in the plane of flight, which is determined by the straight flight path and the observation point, the following derived equations result from equations I: '
EMI0009.0026
Using these auxiliary quantities, equation III) is simplified to:
EMI0009.0028
The auxiliary variable @ is easy to generate as an analogy variable and the computing systems for realizing the equations containing these auxiliary variables are correspondingly simpler.
