Knieschemel, insbesondere zum Reinigen und Wichsen von Fussböden Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Knieschemel, der insbesondere zum Reinigen und Wichsen von Fussböden benutzt werden kann.
Der Knieschemel gemäss der Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass derselbe unten mit vier drehbaren Rollen. versehen ist und an seiner Oberseite eine Polsterung aufweist, welche in mindestens einer der beiden mög lichen Fahrrichtungen des Schemels schräg nach aussen und nach unten geführt ist bis unter die Höhenlage der Axen der Rollen.. Vorzugsweise besteht die Polsterung aus gummielastischem Material mit Luftkammern, insbesondere aus Schaumgummi.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungs gegenstandes ist in der beigefügten Zeichnung veranschaulicht. Es zeigt: Fig. 1 eine perspektivisehe Ansieht des Knieschemels, Fig.2 in grösserem Massstab den Schemel teils in Seitenansicht und teils im senkrechten Querschnitt und Fig. 3 einen Teil des Schemels in Ansicht von unten.
Der dargestellte Knieschemel weist einen aus Holz gefertigten Schemelkörper 11-14 auf, der unten mit vier drehbaren Rollen 15 versehen ist. Der Schemelkörper ist zur Hauptsache aus zwei flach übereinanderliegen- den, durch Schrauben 16 miteinander verbun denen Brettern 11 und 12 gebildet. Ferner weist der Schemelkörper zwei im Querschnitt dreieckförmige Leisten. 13 auf, die an den. Längskanten der beiden Bretter 11 und 12 angeordnet und zumindest mit einem der letzteren verbunden sind.
An den Stirnenden des untern Brettes 11 sind ferner zwei Quer leisten 14 mit Hilfe von Schrauben 17 be festigt, die ebenfalls zum Schemelkörper ge hören. Das obere Brett 12 hat die gleiche Grundfläche wie. das untere Brett 11 und die beiden Querleisten 14 zusammen. Das untere Brett 11 ist au jeder Ecke mit einem Aus schnitt 18 versehen, während das obere Brett 12 entsprechende Vertiefungen 19 an seiner. Unterseite besitzt. Die Ausschnitte 18 und die Vertiefungen 19 zusammen bilden Ausneh- mungen, in denen je eine der Rollen 15 an geordnet ist.
Jede der Rollen 15 ist drehbar auf dem Schaft einer Schraube 20 gelagert, welche durch eine der Querleisten 14 hin durchgeht -und in die Stirnseite des intern Brettes 11 eingeschraubt ist. Die Rollen 15 sind aus Hartholz hergestellt und stehen nur verhältnismässig wenig über die Unterseite des Schemelkärpers 11-14 hervor, so dass der nach unten vorstehende Teil weniger als die halbe Umfangsfläche jeder Rolle aufweist.
Die Unterseite des Sehemelkörpers 11-14 ist bis auf. die Ausschnitte 18 völlig geschlossen und glatt; sie weist weder Stufen noch Vorsprünge auf; wodurch gewährleistet ist, dass der Sche mel auch über unebene Böden geschoben wer den kann, ohne an den, Bodenunebenheiten hängen zu bleiben.
Die Oberseite des beschriebenen Schemel- körpers 11-14 ist mit einer Polsterung 21, 22 versehen, die durch zwei Platten 21 1111d 22 i ai -is gummielastischem Material mit Luftkam- mern, vorzugsweise aus Schaumgummi, gebil- clet ist.
Die eine Gummiplatte 21 bildet eine untere Lage der Polsterung mld hat im Grind russ die gleiche Grösse wie das obere Brett-12, auf welchem die ('Tinnmiplatte 21 mit Hilfe eines Klebemittels befestigt ist. Die andere Gummiplatte 22 bildet die obere und äusserste Lage der Polsterung. Sie ist in ihrer Mittel partie mittels eines Klebemittels auf die erste Gummiplatte 21 aufgeklebt und reicht in den beiden Fahrrichtungen des Schemels schräg nach aussen und nach unten bis zu den äusser sten Kanten der dreikantigen Leisten 13.
Die schräg verlaufenden Partien der Gummiplatte 22 sind mit der schrägen Oberseite der Lei sten 13 durch ein Klebemittel verbunden. Die Polsterung ist somit bis unter die Höhenlage der Axen der Rollen 15 geführt, das heisst his wenig über den Boden, auf welchem der Schemel rollen soll.
Mindestens an einer Stirnseite des Sche- melkörpers 11-14 ist ein Traggriff 23 in Form eines Henkels aus Seilmaterial, Leder oder dergleichen befestigt, indem die Enden des Henkels. zwischen die betreffende Quer leiste 14 und das obere Brett 12 eingeklemmt sind: Es könnte aber-aueh ein anderer Trag- griff vorhanden sein.
Die Gebrauchsweise des beschriebenen Kilieschemels ist wie folgt: Der Schemel wird mit seinen Rollen 15 auf den zu bearbeitenden,- insbesondere zu rei nigenden Fussboden aufgestellt, wonach die Person, welche die Arbeiten ausführen soll, sieh mit beiden Knien auf das Polster 21, 22 niederlässt. Wegen der Nachgiebigkeit der Pol sterlagen 21 und 22 ist das Knien sehr be quem und mit keinerlei Schmerzen verbunden, selbst wenn die auszuführende Arbeit verhält uismässig lange dauert.
Mit Hilfe der Fuss spitzen, die sich auf dem: Boden abstützen können, kann die Person den Schemel prak tisch mühelos vorwärts oder rückwärts in Be wegung setzen, da hierfür wegen der Rollen 15 verhältnismässig wenig Kraft aufgewendet werden muss. Durch ungleiches Stossen mit den beiden Füssen lassen sich aueh Richtungs änderungen des Schemels erzielen.
Durch die schräg nach aussen und nach unten geführten Partien der Polsterung 22 wird wirksam ver hindert, dass Bekleidungsstücke wie Schürzen, Röcke usw. der Benützungsperson unter den Schemel gelangen und von den Rollen 15 über fahren werden können.
Die Verwendung von gummiartigem Material für die Polsterung 22 bringt hier den Vorteil, dass die Bekleidungs stücke, welche gegebenenfalls -unter den Sche mel. gelangen könnten, durch die Polsterung stets in der Bewegungsrichtung des Schemels mitgenommen werden, da Gewebe und andere für die Bekleidungsstücke verwendete Stoffe auf dem gummiartigen Material äusserst schlecht gleiten und am Material haftenblei ben.
Der Schemel kann in gleicher Weise von der einen oder andern Längsseite her benutzt werden., da er in beiden möglichen Fahrrich tungen symmetrisch ausgebildet ist.
Es wäre aber auch möglich, die Polste rung 22 nur an der einen Längsseite des Schemels schräg nach unten zu führen, in wel chem Falle man stets von dieser Seite her auf den Schemel knien sollte.
Man kann die Polsterung aus Gummi oder aus gummiartigem Kunststoff herstellen.
