<B>Procédé de</B> confection <B>d'un</B> pantalon Actuellement, dans la confection des pan talons, on réalise la ceinture de plusieurs ma nières P, avec un tissu coupé en biais ; 20 avec un ruban en biais replié d'avance ; 3 avec un gros grain ou ruban droit fil ; 4,) avec un ruban élastique plus ou moins large.
Le troisième moyen: ceinture montée avec gros grain ou ruban droit fil, rend la confection plus commode. Par contre, la ceinture n'est pas souple. Toutefois, on réussit à l'améliorer en ajoutant au bout de la ceinture une patte élas tique, ce qui limite la souplesse et l'élasticité à cette partie de la ceinture.
Il faut considérer que le montage de la ceinture devient coûteux lorsqu'on emploie du tissu élastique, et aussi parce que cela nécessite des précautions particulières lors de l'assem blage de la ceinture avec le pantalon, par suite de la tension variable du caoutchouc, d'où perte de temps.
Dans les divers procédés connus de confec tion, le but recherché est d'obtenir un pantalon dont la ceinture est dotée d'une certaine sou plesse pour ne pas fatiguer le ventre. L'invention a pour objet un procédé de confection d'un pantalon, caractérisé en ce qu'on utilise un ruban semi-rigide, obtenu à partir d'un ruban au moins en partie élastique, qui a été étiré selon le serrage élastique à obte nir, et qui a été fixé dans cet état au moyen d'un apprêt soluble, en ce qu'on fixe ce ruban semi-rigide à l'intérieur de la ceinture du pan talon, et en ce qu'on rend ensuite ladite cein ture élastique par élimination de l'apprêt dudit ruban.
Voici tout d'abord comment on peut obte nir un ruban semi-rigide utilisé dans une mise en oeuvre particulière du procédé, étant entendu que les opérations nécessaires à l'obtention du ruban semi-rigide ne font pas partie du procédé selon l'invention.
On utilise un ruban qui est en tout ou en partie élastique et, de préférence, peu élastique, dur comme élasticité ou relâché, selon le be soin.
On étire le ruban suivant l'élasticité dési rée, et on le fixe à sa position .étirée par un apprêt (soluble dans l'eau), ce qui en fait un ruban semi-rigide.
Dans une mise en oeuvre particulière du procédé selon l'invention, on fixe alors ce ru ban semi-rigide à l'envers de la ceinture du pantalon, puis on passe la ceinture finie à la presse à vapeur. L'apprêt fond en rendant son élasticité au ruban qui se resserre sur lui-même. On a ainsi, à la fin des opérations, un pantalon comportant une ceinture un peu élastique.
Si on emploie un ruban mixte pour la confection du ruban semi-rigide, c'est-à-dire dont une partie n'est pas élastique, la partie non élastique empêche d'étirer le ruban plus que ne le permet le droit fil, donnant ainsi une limite maximum à l'élasticité.
Le ruban employé pour la confection du ruban semi-rigide peut avoir ses fils élastiques nus ou enrobés. Si les fils élastiques sont enro bés de fils non élastiques, ces derniers servent alors de limiteurs de tension.
Dans le procédé de confection d'un pan talon que l'on a décrit, la pose de la ceinture est rapide et facile, à la façon d'une ceinture non élastique.

The subject of the invention is a method of making pants, characterized in that a semi-rigid tape is used, obtained from an at least partly elastic tape, which has been stretched according to the elastic tightening at obtained, and which has been fixed in this state by means of a soluble primer, in that this semi-rigid tape is fixed inside the waistband of the heel pan, and in that said elastic belt by removing the finish from said tape.
Here is first of all how one can obtain a semi-rigid tape used in a particular implementation of the method, it being understood that the operations necessary to obtain the semi-rigid tape do not form part of the method according to the invention. .
A tape is used which is wholly or partly elastic and, preferably, not very elastic, hard in elasticity or loose, as needed.
The tape is stretched to the desired elasticity, and fixed in its stretched position by a size (water soluble), making it a semi-rigid tape.
In a particular implementation of the method according to the invention, this semi-rigid ru ban is then fixed to the back of the waistband of the pants, then the finished waistband is passed through the steam press. The primer melts, restoring its elasticity to the tape, which tightens on itself. Thus, at the end of the operations, there are pants comprising a somewhat elastic waistband.
If a mixed tape is used for making the semi-rigid tape, that is to say part of which is not elastic, the non-elastic part prevents the tape from stretching more than the straight grain allows, thus giving a maximum limit to elasticity.
The tape used for making the semi-rigid tape can have its elastic threads bare or coated. If the elastic threads are wrapped in non-elastic threads, the latter then serve as tension limiters.
In the method of making a heel pan which has been described, the fitting of the belt is quick and easy, like a non-elastic belt.
