Device for temporarily holding a flat-shaped material to enable it to be conveyed step-by-step
The invention relates to a device for temporarily holding a sheet-like material in place to enable it to be transported on a very large scale. A sheet of material can be used as sheet-like material.
The invention is for example for the transport of Yapier or textile webs for the purpose of multiple printing, for the purpose of surface coating, covering limited areas or. ttm embossing and punching of bleehbands as well as for assembly line systems etc. applicable.
In order to move a web of material or, for example, the printing blanket of a film printing machine, because it was necessary to move on a constant stretch of distance, complicated equipment was required, above all to stop the driven rollers in good time and correctly; the tape can be grasped at the edges with grippers and around a. limited length by announcement.
The disadvantage of this method is that the tape becomes narrow over time; ouch In addition, the tape can remain in the middle, especially when it is pulled over a surface and is relatively wide, which leads to inaccuracies during processing.
The present invention provides a remedy in that, in order to generate an air-diluted space, at least one suction head that can be optionally switched on and off on a vacuum apparatus is arranged on one side of the sheet-like material.
In the drawing, the invention is illustrated in an exemplary embodiment.
1 and 2 each show a schematic view of the device.
Fig. 3 to 5 represent outlines of implementation variants of the suction container.
The two suction heads 2 and 3 are arranged in a stationary manner under the sheet-like web 1. They are connected with the line 5 to a device for generating a vacuum and can be switched on and off in a manner known per se, for example by means of valves. In the connected state, the web 1 is pressed against the suction head as a result of the vacuum and is thereby fixed in its position. If the web 1 is now to be moved a certain distance, the suction head 4, which is also arranged below the web 1, is connected to the vacuum line, while the suction heads 2 and 3 are switched off, whereby the two processes must overlap to prevent an unintentional Avoid shifting the material line.
The suction head 4 is connected to the vacuum device by a movable, for example flexible
Line 6 connected and movably mounted in a guide device 7 between the adjustable stops 8 and 9. After the suction head 4 is firmly sucked on the web 1, this is from the point 8 to
Position 9 moves and thereby takes the web 1 with it by this Wegstüek. On that. he fol-, the reverse process: the suction heads
2 and 3 are reconnected to the vacuum apparatus, and the suction head 4 is switched off. During the processing of the web of goods 1 in this position, the suction container 4 can be returned to the starting position. The web can thus be gradually increased with greater accuracy. be transported.
The plan shape of the suction heads can, as shown in FIG. 3, be rectangular, but that of the movable suction head can also have a U-shape 10 or the shape of a double T 11, as can be seen from FIGS. 4 and 5 is.
The suction heads are expediently designed so that they extend over the whole
Extend the width of the web.
In order to achieve a uniform effect over the entire suction surface, the plate covering the suction heads can be designed like a sieve.
The suction heads can be arranged above the same instead of below the web.
In the case of an endless web of material, only a single stationary suction container can be sufficient to hold the web in place.
The sheet-like material, to which the container sucks when switched on, advantageously consists of an air-impermeable material. However, it is also possible to select the material web to be air-permeable; In this case, an air-impermeable plate is arranged on the web of material on the side of this web of material opposite the suction head in order to form the air-diluted space that is responsible for the suction force.
In order to make the suction of the suction head more reliable, either the flat material or the plate covering the suction head can consist of a plastic material.
