Kommt nun das zweite Frequenzrelais h'R2 zum Ansprechen, so schliesst dieses :die Kontakte 41 und 42, wo durch die magnetische Kupplung 35 wieder Spannung erhält. Der Schleifkontakt dreht sich nun so lange weiter, bis er auf dem Seg ment 52 zum Aufliegen. kommt. In. diesem Augenblick wird über den;
Der Abgriff des ,Sehleifkon- taktes 9 ist ebenfalls mit dem Sender 16 ver bunden. Wird: nun der .Steuerknüppel 1 in Richtung A bewegt, so dreht sich auch der Hebel 60 in Richtung A und nimmt, wie be reits beschrieben, den ,Schleifkontakt 9 durch den Anschlag 61 mit. Es werden nun: nach- einander die Frequenzen c, g, e des Fr e;
quenzgenerators eingeschaltet.
ganz bestimmten Betrag drehen muss.
System for the wireless transmission of control processes and movements or measuring instrument displays from land, water or air vehicles Especially with aircraft: Accidents occur accidentally: - Accidents that can be traced back to incorrect operation, the causes of which can no longer be determined afterwards. The embodiments of the present invention described below show
how automatically at a receiving point for wireless transmission all operating processes carried out by the pilot are recorded and can be reconstructed on a model. This makes it the one at the receiving point, for. B. a take-off site, staff located possible to constantly monitor all operations carried out by the pilot.
The system according to the present invention for the wireless transmission of control processes and movements or measuring instruments:
The display of land, water or air vehicles is characterized by devices in the vehicle that change the frequency of a wirelessly transmitted alternating current signal in dependence on the movements of the control organs, the measuring instrument pointer and the acceleration measuring devices, and by devices in a receiving point,
which receive the alternating current signal and address its various frequencies in various ways. Embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are illustrated in the accompanying drawing. Show it:
Fig. 1, an aircraft with the control stick, Fig. 2 the control stick for the altitude control of an aircraft with a pulse generator that switches the various frequencies of a multi-frequency generator on and off, Fig. 3 the aircraft and the, Sendean antenna, Fig. 4:
the receiving point for receiving the frequencies and control of various frequency relays, Fig. 5 three frequency relays for controlling a magnetic coupling, Fig. 6 and 7 control stick of an aircraft. Pulse generator and frequency generator to control an electromagnetic reverse coupling of the receiving station.
8 shows a receiving system with six frequency relays for controlling two stepping motors, FIG. 9 shows a device for automatic transmission of the measured values from acceleration measuring devices by wireless means to the receiving point,
10 shows an automatic map table for marking positions of aircraft with the aid of points of light.
Fig. 1 shows an aircraft with the control knob .ppe1 1, through which the altitude control \ -_ 'can be operated. In Fig. 2, the joystick 1 is shown with its mechanism ge separately. The toothed segment 3, which engages in the toothed rack 4 and moves it, is rotated by the control stick 1. The toothed segment 3 is seated on the shaft 5, which is mounted in the bearing 6.
At the end of the shaft 5 sits the gear 7, which operates via the gear 8, the sliding contact 9, the pulse generator 10 be. The sliding contact 9 slides on the contact track of the pulse generator, which carries the contacts c, e, g, <I> c ', e', g '</I>. The contacts are designed as segments and are connected to terminals 11, 12,
13 of the frequency generator 14 connected. The frequency generator outputs three different frequencies that are switched on one after the other when the sliding contact 9 is rotated. The contacts c and c 'as well as e and <I> e, </I> g and <I> g' </I> are conductively connected to one another. Terminal 15 of frequency generator 14 leads to transmitter 16, and the tap on 9 is also connected to transmitter 16.
By moving the control stick, the various frequencies of the frequency generator are switched on one after the other, with these frequencies being fed to the transmitter. For the sake of completeness, it should also be mentioned that the right end: of the rack 4 engages in the scratch 17. As soon as the rack moves sideways, the height control 2 is raised or lowered.
Figs. 3 and. 4 show the aircraft and the reception system provided at the launch site. The control frequencies emitted by the transmitting antenna 18 of the aircraft are recorded by the antenna 19 of the receiving system 20. Through the amplifier 21 who the frequencies are amplified again and fed to the coils 2.2, 23, 24 of the frequency relays FR1, FR2, FR3. Each frequency relay has a metal tongue 25, 26, 27,
which is tuned to a certain natural frequency. If the frequency given by the receiving system 20 'agrees with that of the tongue 25 of the frequency relay FR1, this comes into resonance and swings out strongly. Since the contact spring 28 is bent out and the contacts 29, 30 closed.
If the collecting system 20 picks up a different frequency, which corresponds to the natural frequency of the tongue. 26 of the frequency relay FR2, then the tongue 26 starts to vibrate, which is indicated by the dashed lines a, <I> b </I>. As a result, the pair of contacts 31, 32 is closed.
In the same way, the pair of contacts 3, 3 and 34 is also closed when a third frequency is picked up by the receiving system, which corresponds to the natural frequency of the tongue 27 of the frequency relay FR3. In this way, the frequency relays FR1 to FR3 successively activate the contact pairs 29, 30, 31, 32 and <B> o 33,
</B> 34 switched on in the same rhythm as the frequencies of the frequency generator actuated by the pulse generator. If the control stick of the aircraft is moved quickly, the contacts 29, 30, 31, 32, etc. are closed accordingly quickly one after the other.
If, on the other hand, the control stick and thus the pulse generator are only activated slowly, the time intervals in which the frequencies are emitted are longer, so that the contacts of the frequency relays FR1, FR2, FR3 also close at longer time intervals.
5 now shows how the magnetic clutch 35 is controlled by the frequency relays FR1, FR2 and FR3. If the frequency relay FR1 responds, the pair of contacts 29 and 30 close their contacts: the coil of the auxiliary relay R1 receives voltage.
The current runs from the positive line P1 via the pair of contacts 29, 30 to the coil of the relay R1 and back to the negative pole N1 of the direct current voltage. The relay R1 picks up and switches the coil 36 of the magnetic clutch 35 on. The contact 37: of the auxiliary relay R1 is connected to the positive pole P2 of a direct current voltage. The contact 38 of the auxiliary relay R1 is connected to the terminal 39 of the coil 36 the.
The connection terminal 40 of the coil 36 lissgt at the negative pole N2 of the direct current voltage. In the same way, the contact pair 31, 32 is closed by the frequency relay FR2, as soon as it is activated, and thus the auxiliary relay R2 is switched on.
The contact 31 is connected to the terminal P1 of the direct current network, the contact 32 is conductive with the: Coil: of the auxiliary relay R2. The other end of this coil is connected to terminal N1. Pulls relay R2 on; so the contacts 41 and 4.2 are closed, whereby the coil 36 of the magnetic coupling 35 receives voltage. The coil of the relay R3 is switched on by the frequency relay FR3 via the contacts 33 iuid 34.
If the relay R3 picks up, it also turns on the coil 36 of the magnetic coupling via contacts 43 and 44. If the frequency relays are switched on in rapid succession, the shaft 45 is permanently coupled to the shaft 46.
This shaft 46 is driven by the motor 47, as soon as the coil 36 of the magnetic clutch 35, which is fed by brushes, is switched on, the plate 48, which is slidably arranged on the shaft 4'5, dressed. This plate sits on a keyway and takes the shaft 45 with it as soon as it rotates with the spool. If the frequency relays are energized successively,
so the shaft 45 rotates. If the frequency relays are switched on one after the other at certain time intervals with pauses, the clutch 35 is also released several times, the shaft 45 always executing only very specific switching steps. As a result of the inertia of the masses, angle differences between the shaft 45 and the sliding contact 9 of the pulse generator 10 (Fig. 2) can occur after a large number of switching pulses.
In order to eliminate these angular differences, an additional device was provided. At the outer end of the shaft 45 sits: the sliding contact 49, which slides on the disc-shaped contact track 50. The contact track 50 carries the: three, segments 51, 52 and 53.
The segment 51 is conductively connected to the short-circuit resistor 54. The other end of this short-circuit resistor 54 is connected to the coil end 5 7 of the relay R1. The segment 5'2 is connected to the short-circuit resistor 5.5 and the segment 53 to the short-circuit resistor '56. The illustration is so .darigt that the sliding contact 49 rests on the @Segment 53.
The sliding contact 49 is connected via the device 58 to the negative pole N1 of the direct current network. If the frequency relay 1'R1 now responds, the relay R1 receives voltage. Via contacts 37 and:
38, the coil 36, the magnetic clutch 35 is now switched on. The clutch attracts the disc 48, whereby the shaft 45 and the sliding contact 49 ge rotates. The sliding contact can only rotate through a very specific angle.
As soon as the sliding contact rests on the next segment 51, the coil of the relay R1 is short-circuited via the short-circuit resistor 54. The relay R1 comes to drop out, where also .die magnetic clutch 35 is switched off again.
If the second frequency relay h'R2 now responds, it closes: the contacts 41 and 42, where the magnetic coupling 35 receives voltage again. The sliding contact now continues to rotate until it rests on the segment 52. comes. In. this moment is about the;
Short-circuit resistance 55 - the coil of relay R2 short-circuited; as a result, the relay R2 drops out and switches the clutch off again. It only rotates again when. well, the third frequency relay also responds.
With this additional device, the magnetic coupling can only ever perform certain switching steps, which are enforced by synchronism with the pulse generator on board the aircraft. For the sake of simplicity, only three switching segments have been provided in the illustration.
It can be practical of course too. significantly more switching segments are provided. The number of switching segments must be adapted to the number of segments of the pulse generator.
Figs. U and 7 show how a magnetic reversing clutch can be controlled according to the same principle by using a fourth frequency relay. 6 shows the on-board system. The Elg. 7 the reception system. The lever 60 of the pulse generator <B> 10 </B> is rotated in the manner described by the control stick 1 via the shafts 5 and 59.
If the lever 60 is moved in direction A, it immediately takes the sliding contact 9 with it through the stop 61. However, if the control stick is operated in the other direction, so that - the lever 60 rotates in direction B, the spring 62 must first be compressed until the lever 60 at the contact 63 to. Concern comes; only then does the lever 60 take the sliding contact 9 with it.
The frequency generator 14 'has five terminals 64, 11, 12, 13 and 15. It outputs four different frequencies. The terminal 64 of the frequency generator 14 is conductively connected to the contact 63. The terminal 11 is connected to the segment .c, the terminal 12 with the .Segment e and, the terminal 13 with the: segment g conductive ver. Terminal 15 is connected to transmitter 16.
The tapping of the sliding contact 9 is also connected to the transmitter 16. If: The control stick 1 is now moved in the direction A, the lever 60 also rotates in the direction A and, as already described, takes the sliding contact 9 with it through the stop 61. There are now: successively the frequencies c, g, e of the Fr e;
frequency generator switched on. However, if you move the joystick in direction B ,. the lever 60 also rotates in the direction B, the contact 63 initially being closed. As a result, a further control frequency is switched on via terminal 64 of this frequency generator. Immediately thereafter, the lever 60 takes the
Sliding contact 9 with its movement in direction B, whereby the other frequencies are then switched on in the manner described be one after the other. The fourth control frequency is only switched on when turning in direction B. If the control stick is moved in the opposite direction in direction A, it remains switched off. As can be seen from Fig. 7, four frequency relays FR1, FR2, FR3, FR4 are connected to the receiving system.
The tongue of the frequency relay FR4 is tuned so that this frequency relay only responds when the lever 60 of the pulse generator touches contact 63 (Fig. 6) and the fourth control frequency is output, i.e. the control stick is moved in direction B. The switchover relay R4 is controlled by the frequency relay FR4 via the contact pair 65 and 66.
If the switching relay R4 is switched off, the contacts 67, 68 are bridged and the .Spule 36c of the magnetic reversing clutch 69 is controlled by the relays R1, R2 and R3. If, however, the relay R4 is switched on, the contacts 70, 71 are closed and the coil 36b of the magnetic reversing clutch 69 is controlled by the relays R1, R2 and R3. Otherwise, the system works just like the system described under FIG. The reverse clutch 69 is driven by the motor 47.
As soon as the coil 36a is switched on, it attracts the plate 48a, whereby the shaft 45 rotates. The coil 36a is spatially stationary while the bevel gear 72 rotates. The bevel gear 72 is driven by the bevel gear 73. The bevel gear 74 rotates in the opposite direction. If the coil 36b receives voltage, the plate 48b is attracted, whereby the shaft 45 now also rotates in the opposite direction.
The sliding contact 49, which slides on the segments 53, 51 and 52, is coupled to the shaft 45. The relays R1, R2 and R3 are short-circuited via the short-circuit resistors 54, 55 and 56 as soon as the sliding contact 49 has carried out the switching step commanding s <B> s </B>.
FIG. 8 shows another embodiment of the receiving system, two step motors being provided. The frequencies picked up by your Ump- longer 20 who are amplified by the amplifier 21 and fed to the frequency relay <B> FBI </B> to FR6.
The auxiliary relays R1 to R6 are switched in the manner described by the contacts 29 to 34 and 65, 66 and 74 to 77 of the frequency relays: The frequency relays 11'R1, 11'R2 and FR3 control the relays R1, R2 and R3 , whereby the poles of the stepping motor 78 are switched on and off one after the other in a certain working rhythm.
The auxiliary relays R4 to R6, which control the poles of the second step motor 79, are switched by the frequency relays FR4, FR5 and FR6. By: the relay R makes the armature of the stepper motor one switching step at a time. The different poles are switched on one after the other, so that the armature of the motor always looks around one.
must turn a very specific amount. If the relays are operated in the reverse order, the armature rotates in the opposite direction. Here, too, absolute synchronism is guaranteed, because when a certain frequency occurs, the drive can only ever perform a very specific switching step.
The control types described so far had the purpose of controlling the operations on the aircraft of a receiving point, e.g. B. a command center to convey wirelessly. Just as the movements for the elevator control can be transferred in this way, the movements for the rudder can also be automatically communicated to the observation station.
All movements: that a motor vehicle driver steers can also be sent to an observation point in this way.
9 shows that with this method, the measured values from automatically registering measuring instruments can also be passed on to the observer sitting at a distant place. The figure shows a measuring device that determines the distances covered by the aircraft.
Two strong steel springs $ 1 and 82: are clamped on a vertically arranged wall 80. The steel spring 81 can be moved in the direction @ 1-B and the steel spring 82 in the direction C <B> -D </B>. The masses (iron blocks) 83 and 84 are located at the outer end of the steel spring.
It will now. assume that the aircraft in which the measuring device is located is moving in direction B. If the aircraft changes its altitude, that is, it flies downwards, bend; the spring 82 follows due to the inertia of the mass 84. above. If the airplane climbs, the spring .82 bends downwards. The spring 81 likewise bends out when the aircraft changes its speed.
All changes in speed are determined by the measuring device. For this purpose, measuring indicators 85, 86, 87 and 88 are arranged on both sides of the masses 83 and 84. The measuring leads have sliding contacts through which the various frequencies of the frequency generator 95 are switched on and off.
As soon as the mass 84 moves upwards, the sliding contact 89 of the dial indicator 87 rotates clockwise. It slides over the contacts 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, etc., to which the frequencies of the frequency generator 95 are connected.
In this way, who switched on the successive different frequencies that, as already described, can be fed to the transmitter :. The acceleration and speed values have to be integrated twice in order to get going. This integration can also be carried out electrically. It can be done at the receiving location or, if this is practically better, on the aircraft itself.
The device shown for measuring all speed changes can also be expanded by a third steel spring so that all movements in all three directions are recorded.
FIG. 10 shows an automatic map table on which the aircraft are marked by white points of light and see, on a reduced scale, move automatically with the real aircraft.
The map is drawn on the table top 96, which consists of a pane of glass. The spindle 98 is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise by the magnetic reversing coupling 97.
As a result, the iron block 99, which carries the spindle 100, is moved back and forth. The spindle 100 is also driven by a magnetic reversing clutch so that it can be moved forwards or backwards in the axial direction. At the end of the spindle 100, the iron block 101 sits, which carries a small headlight 102.
This headlight creates the point of light 103 on the map, which marks the position of the aircraft there. In the same way, the magnetic reversing clutch 9.7a:
the spindle 98a rotates, which moves the iron block 99a forwards or backwards. The magnetic coupling 104 drives the spindle 100, which moves the iron block 101a with the headlight 102a. The position of the second aircraft is marked as a point of light 103a on the map by the headlight 102, a.
In order to also be able to determine the respective altitude of the aircraft immediately, a panel 105 is arranged next to the table, which contains a tongue frequency meter. For this purpose: the altimeter of the aircraft is coupled with the rotary knob of a beat buzzer. If the push button 106 is operated, the panel 105 displays the altitude of the first aircraft.
The higher the aircraft, the higher the emitted frequency that the tongue frequency meter registers. If the second push button 107 is pressed, the panel shows the altitude of this second: aircraft. It is only one. Example of the system.
The control described can, of course, be applied in the most manageable, wrinkled way. Instead of the frequency relays described above, electrical filters can also be provided.
Furthermore, actuation of the control stick can also cause a continuous change in the frequency. You can z. For example, you can use the joystick to couple a control element that changes the frequency of a tube generator.
If a differential gear is provided at the receiver, which is driven by a motor at constant speed, the drive shaft of the differential gear rotates clockwise when the control motor is running faster than the motor at constant speed. and counterclockwise when the control motor rotates slower as a result of the reduced reception frequency.
These are all just different types of embodiment of the concept of the invention. It goes without saying that the frequencies emitted by aircraft or vehicles can also be recorded by magnetophone devices.
In this way, the entire course of the movements of all land, water and air vehicles can be reproduced by the model as often as required. The card table can also be controlled by such a magnetophone.
