Turbomachine The object of the invention is a turbomachine, characterized by at least one airspace, each blade of which is provided with at least one slot-shaped nozzle opening onto the surface of the lower surface of the blade by a orifice extending in the direction of the length of this blade, these nozzles communicating with a channel connected to a source of pressurized fluid, the whole so as to make it possible to discharge through the nozzles jets of fluid in the form of a steering blade determined.
The drawing represents an embodiment of the object of the invention, constituted by a turbine.
Fig. 1 schematically shows a master cylinder and, in part, a mobile cubage of this embodiment; and fig. 2 shows this embodiment in axial section.
The turbine shown has a first fixed distributor cubicle which follows the movable bearing 21a of a turbine wheel. Each vane 21 of the distributor vane is provided with a longitudinal channel 19 with which communicates a nozzle 20 in the form of a slot opening onto the surface of the lower surface of the vane through an orifice extending in the direction of the length of this dawn.
The channels 19 are connected to the same annular channel 22 connected by a pipe 22 ', provided with an adjustment valve 23, to a source of gaseous fluid under pressure (air or steam depending on whether it is a gas turbine or steam turbine). The orifices of the nozzles are located in the vicinity of the trailing edge of the blades, and the median plane of the nozzles is slightly inclined with respect to the plane tangent to the intrados at this location.
On the other hand, the width of the walls of the slit-shaped nozzles is sufficient in relation to the width of the slit for gaseous fluid escaping from the nozzles to form blade-shaped jets whose direction is that of said plane. median, these jets being directed downstream.
If, at certain speeds, there is a disconnecting of the main flow on the extra back of the vanes 21, it will suffice to open the valve 23, and then the auxiliary blade-shaped jets directed through the nozzles. 20 towards the rear parts 18 of the extrados of the blades 21 will have the effect of the more or less important re-bonding of the main flow on the extrados of the blades and a modification of the direction of the flow at the outlet of the blade distributor. The magnitude of the effect obtained can be changed by simply adjusting valve 23.
Thus, by suitably adjusting the valve 23, it is possible to improve the characteristics of the fixed steering vane outside the adaptation regime.
By giving a greater inclination to the median plane of the nozzles in relation to the plane tangent to the surface of the intrados, the blade-shaped jets escaping from the nozzles will mainly have the effect of a more or less significant necking of the vein of the main flow, which can also make it possible to adapt the characteristics of the main flow to different regimes. This adaptation will also be done by simply adjusting the valve 23.
Whether it is mainly a matter of obtaining a reattachment of the flow and a modification of the direction at the exit of the blading, or mainly of obtaining a necking of the vein, experience has shown that in both cases, satisfactory results could be obtained by an arrangement making it possible to send through the nozzles 20 auxiliary jets, the amount of movement of which is between 2 and 10% of that of the main flow.
In the case of the described turbine, the arrangement of the nozzles 20 could also have the aim of producing a steering vane with a large deviation.
In a variant of the turbine described, each vane 21 of the directional blading could be provided with two nozzles 20 of different inclinations, each connected to a separate channel 19, the channels 19 of these two series of nozzles communicating with the channels. separate power supply each provided with its own flow rate adjustment means. One of the series of nozzles would then be used to obtain. the reattachment and the other to obtain a striction. The turbomachine could also be a compressor, as moreover the blading having the arrangement described could also be a mobile blading of the machine.
The described turbine could be a turbine powered by the exhaust gases of a combustion engine. In this case, it would be advantageous to periodically vary the flow rate of the auxiliary jets discharged by the nozzles 20, in order to keep constant as far as possible the deviation of the main flow at the outlet of the director vane, despite variations in the momentum of the main flow. The periodic variation of the flow rate of the auxiliary jets will be easily achieved by periodically actuating the valve 23. The latter can be replaced by a rotary distributor with lights moving in front of fixed lights.
