Device with a ferromagnetic circuit. The invention relates. on a supply line with at least one circle with hoelipermealin ferromagnetic material, one or more windings to generate a variable magnetic field in this circuit, at least one body made of permanent magnetic material to generate a pre-magnetizing field in this circuit and an air gap,
which forms a closed magnetic circuit with the ferromagnetic branch and the permanent magnetic branch.
The aim of the invention is to generate the largest possible pre-magnetizing field in the air gap. On the other hand, the further magnetic resistance of the circuit, in particular the special one formed by the permanent magnetic body, should be as low as possible, so that small changes in current of a current supplied to the winding cause the greatest possible change in said variable magnetic field.
According to the invention, in the direction of its smallest dimension transversely to the contact surface with the ferromagnetic branch m.agnetisiei'te and at least an @ geiläliert parallel to the lines of force generated by the variable magnetic field uni circle arranged body of permanent magnetic material with a hearing field strength of at least 750 oersteds.
The invention can be designed as a polarized Re lais, in which z. B. at a certain current strength through the winding the field of the permanent magnetic body is compensated, and a small change in current a sufficiently large magnetic field so that the armature of the relay is attracted. The invention can also be designed as a magnetic telephone or microphone who the.
Furthermore, the invention can be designed as a magnetic electron lens, in which it then leads to small dimensions of the coil.
The invention is described below with reference to that in the enclosed. Drawing dargestell th embodiments explained in more detail.
Figures 1, 2 and 2a show polarized relays.
F sharp. Fig. 3 shows a magnetic telephone or microphone, and Fig. 4 shows a magnetic electron lens.
In FIG. 1, the parts of the ferromagnetic circle are labeled 1, 2 and 3. With 4 is a body made of permanent magnetic Ma material, with 5 a lift gap and with. 6 denotes a winding which is arranged on the leg 1 of the feromagnetic circuit. Parts 1 and 2 of the ferromagnetic circle are fixed. arranged, the part 3 is movable Lich and serves as an anchor.
From a schematically shown spring 7, this armature 3 is pulled against the contact 8, and if. If a current flowing through the winding 6 generates a sufficiently large magnetic field in the air gap 5, the armature 3 will move towards the contact 9.
The relay should be designed in such a way that the change in current required for armature adjustment is limited to a minimum and that it can only respond in the vicinity of a certain nominal current.
For this purpose, a permanently magnetic material with a high coercive force of the magnetic induction BHC, ie higher than 750 Oersted, is assumed, so that the body 4 with a small dimension in the direction of NS of its magnetization still has the field of the winding 6 can be compensated for by flowing nominal current.
This body 4, in the direction of its smallest dimension transversely to its large contact surface with. the parts 1 and 2 is magnetized, is arranged in a direction approximately parallel to the magnetic lines of force generated by the winding 6 in parts 1 and 2 and in this way forms a low magnetic resistance in the remote magnetic branch 1, 2, 3, so that a high sensitivity is achieved.
If the spring 7 is relatively weak, at a certain current strength (nominal current) the field H of the winding 6 will just compensate the magnetic field Ho of the body 4, so that no field is generated in the air gap 5 and the spring 7 pushes the armature 3 against the Contact 8 pulls. If the current flowing through the winding 6 now deviates from this value by a small amount, a with is in the air gap 5. this current deviation coincide with the magnetic field that pulls armature 3 towards contact 9.
The attraction force is (H-Ho) 2 proportional, so that both smaller and larger currents than the rated current attract the armature.
You can continue the relay z. B. form with two armatures and two separate (not presented Darge) ferromab etic parts, whose biases are a little different ver; in this case z. B. A device can be achieved in which, from the small ner to the larger currents calculated net, initially. the two anchors are tightened, then the first anchor drops, then the second anchor as well, then the first anchor is tightened again, and finally the two are again. Anchor tightened. The relay is then z.
B. suitable as a llalimal-llinimal relay.
In the Vorrielrtun- after Fi-. 2, two separate parts 2 and 2 'are also used, in which, by means of permanent magnetic bodies 4 and 4' in the air gaps 5 and 5 ', e.g. B. the fields H + H, resp. H - H2 can be generated. The total force exerted on the armature 3 is then proportional to (II + 11 1) 2 - (H - H.) 2 - (2H + </ I> IIl -H2). (1I, + I12) 2. Are e.g.
B. the magnetizations of the bodies 4 and -9 are the same size, so that the fields Hl and 11 .. are the same size, so see the armature 3 with positive currents in one direction, in the case of negative currents, move into the other direction. If necessary, the legs 2 and 2 'can be arranged in the vicinity of one another, as shown schematically in FIG. 2a, which results in a more compact structure.
If the spring 7 in Fi-. 1. as very strong, so when the magnetic field H + Ho generated by the body 4 and the current flowing through the winding 6 together exceeds a certain value, the armature 3 is attracted. In this case, too, the relay is considerably more sensitive than if it were designed without a permanently magnetic body 4.
In Fig. 3 is. a device designed as a magnetic telephone shown, in which in the air gaps 5 and 5 'of the fixed. arranged parts. 1 and 2 or 1 'and 2' existing ferromagnetic branch a constant magnetic field IIo by means of permanent magnetic bodies 4 or -. -1 'with opposite directions of magnetization and a variable magnetic field 1I is generated by means of the windings 6 and 6'.
A force proportional to (11 + Ho) 2 - (II - Ho) 2 - 4H0H is thus exerted on a membrane 3 arranged in the air gaps 5 and 5 '. Such a telephone has a very high sensitivity, since the field of the windings 6 and 6 'opposes a very low magnetic resistance, since the bodies 4 and 4' are designed as magnetized bodies with a large surface area and in the direction of the smallest dimension on the other hand, these bodies generate a large constant field Ho which, however, penetrates the membrane 3 by riveting.
The requirements placed on the bodies H and H 'are mentioned in the description of FIG.
It is understood that the device described can also be used as a microphone.
In Fig. 4, a magnetic electron lens is shown. That contains a ferromagnetic circuit with the parts 1 and 2 and an air gap δ in which a large and as much as possible 7 squeezed magnetic field must be generated by means of a winding. In order to keep the dimensions of the winding 6 small, a permanent magnetic body 4 is also added to the outer jacket of the circle, which generates a significant part of the required magnetic field in the air gap 5.
The requirements placed on this body are again the same as for the device according to FIG. 1. It may be advantageous to interrupt the circle 1, 2 at two points by permanent magnetic bodies of the same magnetization direction.
A suitable permanent magnetic material is composed of essentially non-cubic crystals of iron oxide and at least one oxide of the metals barium, strontium, lead and, if necessary, calcium, so that they can be made from cheap, uncommon raw materials. The most commonly used material is. BaFei2019 or (Ba0) 6. (Fe20 #.). The manufacture of these materials is. in Swiss Patent No. 306773 described ben.
Thanks to its non-cubic crystal structure, this material has the particular advantage that it is not. is conductive and difficult to demagnetize, which is particularly important when used in a magnetic telephone or microphone.
